I have been using this product for my entire life. My mom used to use it on us as babies as it is extra gentle and moisturizing. Makes a nice shave gel in a pinch. The original scent isn't bad, but if you don't like it, try the Green Tea Pear. It's absolutely divine.
Bronzers -Tarte - Matte Waterproof Mineral Powder Bronzer

I bought a miniature version of this bronzer along with a mini Amazonian clay blush. What's nice is they both fit very right into my makeup bag :) The bronzer isn't shimmery, so it looks really natural. It's also not too orangey. I would definitely purchase this in a larger size!

I like this, and it smells and wears very nice, but I think it's just a really expensive tinted lip balm. You can get the same results from a drugstore brand. I think you're paying for the packaging, which is actually really awesome since it's a metal container with a screw-top cap. If you are going to get it, get it for free for your Sephora Beauty Insider birthday gift!

I have been using this without the retinoid pads. But I do use this twice per day. I like that it doesn't break me out and that it comes in a pump bottle. Since it's a retinoid, it technically shouldn't break you out because it's similar to what's used in Accutane. But anyway, it didn't make me break out, but be careful if your skin is sensitive. Does it work? I've been using it for about 2 weeks, and my acne scars have faded slightly. Will update after more time has passed. Make sure to apply sunscreen with this, it makes skin very photosensitive!
Love this eyeshadow collection! If you are like me and have been searching for matte, neutral eyeshadows forever, look no further. The packaging is really cure, and it comes with little tutorial cards to show you how to use the colors. Great for beginners or those who need a compact palette for on-the-go use.
Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational ~ Red Revival
ksasi04 5/6/2012 4:14:00 PM
Not going to lie, this lipstick kind of sucks. It has poor staying power and settles into the creases on my lips, creating an awkward, crackly effect. I also really don't like that it doesn't come sealed-- that could be really unsanitary in drugstores where some people decide it's okay to swatch or try on a new lipstick without buying it. Probably won't repurchase.
This curler isn't quite the right shape for my eyelids. It pinches a little, which is pretty much a no-go when it comes to delicate skin on the eyelids. Next time, I think I'm going for the Shu Uemura curler.
Eyeliner -Tarte - EmphasEYES waterproof clay eye shadow & liner

This is a really nice, natural eyeliner. I love that it comes with it's own brush which makes the whole thing a pretty decent value, and I like that it glides on smoothly.
The color is really great, and the packaging is very sleek and sophisticated, but I think it's a little to shiny for me and I prefer BareMinerals READY in The Aphrodisiac, which is a slightly less expensive dupe.
Mascara -Maybelline - The Falsies Flared Waterproof

This product is only okay. I think it clumps quite easily and doesn't dry very quickly. The wand is nice but I'm not sure why I just don't like the tube. I would buy it again because it's so inexpensive, works well in a pinch and it's better than most other drugstore mascaras, but I think I'm okay with shelling out the big bucks for a higher-end mascara. Not to sound snobish, but those formulas tend to work better for my sparse little lashes!
This highlighter is a staple in my makeup bag. I love that it's so versatile and made with mostly natural products. Also, the packaging is so cute! Definitely get your money's worth with this.
LOVE this palette. I've always thought that you can never have too many neutral shadows, so this was a lifesaver for me. I like the portability, the color range is pretty impressive, but the only thing I dislike is the packaging. I don't like that it doesn't snap shut! But I guess that's why I need a Naked2 Palette as well! Be ready to drop some serious dollars, though. It's a good value for what you get (a rather expensive brush and a deluxe sample size of UDPP are included) but it's quite a commitment. If you are starting out, don't have many neutrals or are looking for something portable to travel with, this palette is for you.
Blush -Tarte - Amazonian Clay Long-Wear Blush in Natural Beauty

This blush WILL NOT QUIT. It seriously lasts all day long. It looks scary bright in the pan, but it looks really natural on the face. Love it, love it, love it.
Lips -Urban Decay - Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color ALL SHADES
ksasi04 5/2/2012 12:46:00 PM
I have this in Lovechild which is a little too pink for my skin tone, but it is very nice and hydrating. It's not too shiny at all. What I don't like is that it settles into the creases of my lips because it comes in pencil form, but I just add a pink gloss on top and that solves the problem.
This powder provides a very nice matte finish and smells amazing. I'm not in love with the packaging, but it comes with a puff which is nice. Keeps my BB cream in place and my face oil free all day.
