Makeup Brushes -The Body Shop - Retractable Blusher Brush

As always, Body Shop brushes are soft to the face. They really compete in terms of softness against MAC brushes. I use it, not only for applying blush, but also retouching my face with powder in the middle of the day. What I like about this brush is I can keep it in my bag and it won't get messed up because it's retractable and has a cover. I noticed, however, that it was shedding some hairs. All in all, a good brush for the price, but still looking for that HG travel blush brush.
I really like this color on my skintone. I'm olive-skinned or tan since I'm Asian, and I never really thought reds look good on me. I guess it's just a matter of finding your right color. This, however, did not have long-lasting power. A few hours after application, you will see that the ends of your lips are pale pink while the middle is still red. To combat this problem, I apply red lipliner on the edges of my lips and fill the lips in with the same red lipliner, and put the Nars Cruella lipstick on top. I don't know if I will rebuy since I want to check out other red lipsticks in MAC to find the best one for me.
I pretty much like all Body Shop brushes. I think they're made of good quality and it competes with MAC in terms of price. Body Shop brushes are value for money.
I really like the packaging of this product. The automatic mirror becomes really useful sometimes. I have the color in Ali and it's a beautiful pink shade for an olive-skinned girl like me. It's very difficult to find a pink shade for my color, but this one matches it.
Do not buy this product if you don't want your eyeliner to smudge. I bought this on a whim and thought it would be a good eyeliner, but it just smudges and smears all over my face. I have not used it for years, and it's rotting away in my makeup stash. Maybe I'll recycle it as eyeshadow next time. It might have better use there. Definitely would not buy again. Turned me off Smashbox products.
This is my first NARS blush. I have been using blush for years, but I never found a blush that had long-lasting power. I tried using cream blush and then putting on powder blush on top for long-lasting power, but it wouldn't last til the end of the day. I've been reading about NARS blushes and their long-lasting power but I never really believed it until now. I was debating on whether to buy Orgasm or Super Orgasm, but since I had an olive skin tone, I went for Super Orgasm because it had more pigment. It's wonderful. It's my HG blush. It lasts all day (I don't need to retouch, seriously!) and the beautiful gold flecks make me look glowing. I've received compliments about how great my skin looks, on the first day i tried this blush. It looks so natural on me. I will definitely repurchase. Money is really no object when you find a product that really works.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

I really really love this eyeliner. I have been looking for an eyeliner that doesn't smudge because I really have small eyes, sort of like Chinese eyes and eyeliners make our eyes appear bigger. Most of the eyeliners I've used (Smashbox, Revlon, Prestige), including liquid liners, smudged on me at the end of the day. I tried this first at the back of my hand, and then tried to smudge it off after a minute and it wouldn't budge. I use it now everyday to line my upper lash line. Recently, I tried using a pencil eyeliner to line my lower waterline, but to my dismay, it smudged, I had raccoon eyes and no more eyeliner in my lower waterline at the end of the day. I read that you can use gel eyeliner for the waterline and I tried it today, and I couldn't believe it, it just stayed! This is my HG Eyeliner. I will definitely repurchase.

I've read good reviews about this because it was a tinted moisturizer, which was what I was really looking for. However, they had a limited color range. The color was too light for me. And by early afternoon, the coverage was gone. I guess this foundation works for some people, but I'm not one of them! Still looking for that HG foundation.
I bought this because I heard it's Kim Kardashian's foundation and I absolutely love her make up. Pros: Medium to Full Coverage (if you need that kind of coverage, gives a very finished look) Long lasting (You just need to touch up with powder after 6 hours, and you will seem refreshed) Photographs well Cons: Too much coverage (I'm looking for a light coverage foundation) Note: I've tried mixing 1 pump MUFE Liquid Lift + 3 pumps moisturizer and I have a sheerer, better, lighter coverage foundation which does not look like I'm covering my face with a lot of make up. Although I really like it, I wouldn't repurchase it because I'm still looking for a natural looking, long-lasting foundation that photographs well. :)
