Shampoo -Kevin Murphy - Luxury.Wash

Not sure about this. It's ok. Smells nice. Bottle design as with most of Kevin Murphy's stuff is just weird. Is this HG? No. It's ok and it does make my hair feel clean and ready for conditioner. Still not sure - will edit if I change my mind.

Conditioner -TiGi - Catwalk Honey & Oatmeal conditioner [DISCONTINUED]

I love the smell of this stuff and I use it as a treatment. Have bought it repeatedly (when I have very long hair) and I love it. A funny side effect is that it makes my friend's fox terrier go crazy and he jumps up to try to bite my hair.

Styling Products -TiGi - Curls Rock Curl Booster

Crunchy. If I use a little bit, it doesn't do the trick except for add shine, and if I use more, it ends up crunchy. Doesn't work for me.

I'm on my second box of this. It does control my very thick, curly hair and gives it lustre, definition and smells divine. One word of caution, be light handed or your hair will end up greasy. Very greasy. I like how Kevin Murphy products are sulphate and paraben free too.

Polishes -NARS - Orgasm
kattymat 11/7/2008 5:10:00 AM
I received this in swap with the gloss and agree with other reviewers in that this looks quite peachy gold, rather than any pink. Because of that, I only apply one coat - two coats makes this unbearable, and it's my "break a nail" colour - I only wear this when I have filed all my nails uber-short and need a little something to feel groomed. It's pretty, but not the pinky peach I expected. Funny thing is that my skin makes the Orgasm gloss look peachy rather than pink so no surprises there - very warm and I would have liked it cooler and more pink. Still, ok, but not repurchase or rave worthy.

Lip Gloss -NARS - Misbehave

I got this as a gift after saying to my best friend that I'd love a cherry gloss (and bought myself Chanel Myriade glossimer). I can't say how fabulous this is. I am going to put my glossimer up for swap because this is so much better, glossy, shimmery and sophisticated. NARS does their microglitter in a chic way, I found that after receiving this, when I used my glossimer I felt like a teen wearing glitter gloss or something. The shimmer in NARS is micro red glitter and micro gold and is just wonderful - makes my lips look lush. I'm so glad I got this...that will teach me for straying from NARS in the first place!

Polishes -NARS - Bohemia

Love the duochrome in this polish. Greeny, pinky, bronzy yet really wearable for work (it's not screaming pink) and is almost metallic - not uber frosty. I find it goes with everything and the finish and staying power are awesome, at least 5 days (and I am not good to my hands). I have worn this sheerly and it looks great - another fantastic NARS polish (growing to love these more and more).

Lip Gloss -NARS - All Night Long
kattymat 11/6/2008 2:46:00 AM
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I have naturally pigmented lips and this is a beautiful, berry gloss. It's like Dolce Vita, but slightly darker, and very neutral, not warm, not cool (well maybe a little) and just gorgeous. It makes my lips look really full and enhances my natural lip color. I have had people comment on how lovely it is and with my dark hair and pale skin, it is awesome. HG - looks good with all makeup (smokey eyes, no makeup) and no smell, good pigment, no white rings. Love it!

Blush -NARS - Cream Blush in Lokoum
kattymat 11/6/2008 2:43:00 AM
This is a VERY pigmented cream blush. I bought this after buying Dolce Vita powder blush and swapping it away because it was too dark and too brown. Lokoum is what I wanted Dolce Vita to be - a beautiful rose, no shimmer, just a natural flush that has buildability so would suit a lot of different skintones. It looks great and natural and I find myself using this a lot now (Spring) and was using it heaps in Winter. I love it.

Lip Gloss -Chanel - Myriade glossimer
kattymat 11/3/2008 5:24:00 PM
This is my first glossimer. I was after a pretty, cherry lipgloss for the warmer months and was talked into this by a Chanel SA (tossing up between Party Red and this). Don't be turned off by the glitter. It doesn't travel all over your face, the lasting power is good and the texture is 'alright' - gammy, gel, strange but not awful if you know what I mean. The colour fades nicely and leaves gloss and glitter but not OTT glitter. Glad I gave this a go - it leaves your lips so soft afterwards too.

Polishes -NARS - Schiap
kattymat 10/26/2008 4:25:00 AM
This is such a beautiful girly pink. Bright. More of the colour of funny face than schiap for me on the nail, and I love it. I agree that the formulation is a bit dodgy - streaky but the second coat fixed that. Very glossy. Love it.

Conditioner -Frederic Fekkai - Luscious Curls Conditioner
kattymat 10/26/2008 2:09:00 AM
This is ok, but not worth the money. I used heaps of this product in my hair to make up for the crap shampoo that left my hair feeling really tangled. Once my hair dried, it felt dry and frizzed a lot more than with my bumble and bumble shampoo / conditioner combo and I was glad that I got through it because it wasn't worth it. Made my hair feel dry, no matter what I did to it.

Worst shampoo purchase. Didn't lather. Left my hair tangled. My hair felt really dry and I ended up needing to use a lot of the conditioner to get a comb through my hair. Don't bother. Not worth the money.

Conditioner -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco conditioner
kattymat 10/26/2008 2:04:00 AM
This was the staple conditioner for my very long, coarse, curly, dark, dyed hair. The smell is divine (and the smell lasts so the next day your hair smells the same as freshly washed hair) and it is the most moisturising conditioner for naturally curly hair that I have tried. WARNING: it can leave your hair flat if your hair is fine. I naturally have a lot of volume in my hair, so flattening it a little didn't worry me but could see that it would cause issues for some people. Biggest draw back was the price in Australia...$40 a bottle and I tried this from Strawberrynet and got it much cheaper. They have changed their pricing structure and it is now in the unaffordable league :-( Great product none-the-less and if I didn't cut my hair to shoulder length, I would probably fork out the $40 and buy it again.
