Eye Shadow -Estee Lauder - Signature Silky Eyeshadow Duo, Ginger

This is a nice duo. I got it as a gwp, and i will use it, but i find that its not something that i grab for very often. Its not something that i'd go crazy over. Instead, i grab for the Coastal Scents neutral palette, so i do recommend this if you're into the Estee Lauder stuff, but i prefer others to this

I do like the colors, and they do go on silky, but i feel that this isnt anything to go crazy over. If you like this kind of a neutral, go for the Neutral Palette that Coastal scents has, its more of a deal.

This isn't a bad duo. But i dont love it either. See, the little specks of glitter/shimmer led me to think that the vanilla-ish color was not a matte, so i used fix plus, and i ended up having to scrape the crusty layer off.. =( It also doesnt show up on my eyelid, so it doesnt have much of a use for me. I might just use it as a base to try up my primer and any oils i may have on my lid. The other browny-ish color i do like for the crease. I would not just use these two colors on their own though.
Moisturizers -Lancome - High Resolution - Refill 3x

I put the price as a 5 because of its retail price, but i got this as a GWP. Its okay for me. although i do not have wrinkles at all at the moment anyways. It does nice as a moisturizing cream, nothing too special. I dont like the fragrance though, because it makes me feel like i'm just using baby lotion.
Ugh, its too dark for me. I am only 15 though, so theres a reason there. The only time i can wear this, is probably halloween. But Ehh, texture isn't bad.
Lipstick -Lancome - Color Fever lipstick in Rose Defile

I got this as a GWP and i'm okay with it. I do prefer nudes to pinks by far, but its something that i can still use. It is creamy, and the texture is great. I just dont like the color.
I am an NC30 in MAC. I am asian, with fairly heavy yellowy golden undertones, and well, Fresh Beige is too pink. Buff is too pale, and Golden Beige is too dark. Basically, color match for me, sucked. This does have nice staying power, although i wouldnt say that its awesome or anything. I prefer the Loreal True Match to this. They have a better range of colors, and staying power and everything else is pretty much the same. =D
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Stress Control Power - Cream Wash

I initially LOVED THIS. It helped my pimples heal, BUT, i got these little small bumps. They are tiny, not actual pimples, but they are there. I think i'm just sensitive to something that is in it (which is weird because i dont have sensitive skin) I do recommend this, but you'll have to try to see if you get those little bumps. edit, October 6, 2009 LOL, I know why i got those bumps now. it was the 3 in 1 lotion thing thats also in this line. this stuff is amazing.. BUT it does not remove makeup. It is more of an acne treatment... What i do, is i use the fresh foaming cleanser to clean the makeup off, then use this to finish off whatever gunk is left on my skin. Sometimes, i steam my face to open my pores, and the apply this as a treatment/mask thing. My acne is gone.. except for some cystic stuff, but my period came a few days after that, so i blame that on horomones and PMS. xD Edit: Nov. 30 2009 This stuff works. Its not meant to be a cleanser, and will not remove your makeup. I just realized that a few days ago. haha ^^ Use it like you would a masque. Thats how i use it. Like, just leave it on, until it sorta sinks in/dries, and then wash it off. It'll leave sort of a film, but it makes my skin feel soft. =)
Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skin Finish Natural - Medium Plus
kassandraamelaniiee 8/24/2009 5:12:00 PM
Ugh, i bought this mainly because i wanted a powder foundation for summer, that looks natural, not cakey, and controls oil... Limited Color Selection means that the closest shade for me NC30, is Medium Plus... however, its has this.. fairly heavy pink cast on me, since a buff quite a bit onto my face to get the coverage. ALSO, when i wear concealer underneath, the powder sticks onto the concealer, so those spots that i had concealed, were quite noticeably darker than the rest of my face that i had buffed the powder in.., which meant going back with my Mineralized Satinfinish Foundation to even out the color difference, which means spending more time buffing out the glitter that the satinfinish has... =( I would not recommend anyone to buy this to use as a foundation on its own, but you could use this as a setting powder, although there are many cheaper alternatives.
I dont know if this is the one i have, but I have a matte black eyeshadow in Ebony (from the collection with the pan eyeshadows) and they have the same color in the pots too. Anyhow, i cant use this as an eyeshadow on its own as a black. its not pigmented enough. turns out gray, and doesnt blend very well. I do however, use this to set my eyeliner everyday, so i guess its not really that big of a waste of money. =)
Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 - Angel

Ergh, i hate this. It's so thin, and sticky. It gets everywhere, and the glitters get stuck on my lips. It smells horrible too, like a really sweet, chemical-ish, kids play makeup kinda smell, but what do you expect when its only a dollar?

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Foundation Brush
kassandraamelaniiee 8/19/2009 7:57:00 PM
I find that its a little small for me to use as a foundation brush. i tend to grab this for blending out my concealer more. Its nice, but not as soft as i expected. the "sample" brush on the brush ring thing that was in the store felt wayy softer, and better than the one i got. Anyhoo, its not bad, its stiff enough for concealer. I wouldnt buy this to use as a foundation brush though..
Waste of my money..The handle of the wand vibrates, but the brush doesnt. Maybe a little, but thats it. I dont see a difference between using this, and my CG lash blast. It also clumps, which kinda defeats the purpose of the vibrating thing.. =( total disapointment
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil Free Moisture - SPF 15
kassandraamelaniiee 8/19/2009 7:52:00 PM
This will moisturize, but it'll leave this.. film on the skin, and makes me feel greasy... =( Now that its summer, i cant use it at all.
