I've got super long, super dry hair that needs a lot of silicone-based ingredients, as well as other conditioning elements. I switch this up with Pantene, Infusium and Matrix conditioners. Works through hair easily. I always leave a light film when rinsing and my hair turns out super soft. People are always asking about what hair products I use and they're always surprised to find out I use mostly drugstore products. Only thing is, after about a month, there's buildup and my hair no longer responds well. Hence, the switchup.
Treatments -Desert Essence - Tea Tree Oil (100% Pure Australian)

I have been using this product for years. Smells like ass but nothing dries up acne more efficiently. Taking a cotton swab dipped in the stuff, dab onto zit or cyst twice a day. I find in 2-3 days the pimple dries up or comes to a head. After extracting with a curette, I continue to apply the oil for a couple more days and the dried skin eventually falls off (I know: GROSS) leaving new, unbroken, unpimply skin underneath. I also add about an ounce to witch hazel astringent, using that as a toner for my face, or as a homemade Tendskin, and for minor cuts. So much cheaper than buying all those separately.

Love that somethin so simple is so useful and reliable. I add a couple drops to my currrent Jergens body lotion for extra moisturizing. I find that my skin does not break out with this, even on my face. Took someone's advice and applied sparingly to my face after cleansing, then covered my face with a steamed towel. The effect was super soft skin, and there's soemthig calming about steaming the face. Sometimes, I'll use it as a carrier oil and add a couple drops if essential oils such as bergamot, lavender, grapefruit, and clary sage. Feels and smells awesome.
Love this shimmery aqua color. Use it with a glittery black shadow smudged into the creases. Sometimes, will use underneath the lower lashline for funky effect. NYX shadows are such great deals, especially for the price.
Love these eyeshadows. This color is a nice frosty brown-taupe. Application and pigment are almost flawlless. Love the portability of cases and the dirt cheap price, of course.
I just don't seem to like it as much as others. The feel of this stuff is somehwat tacky and sticky to me. The smell doesn't appeal to me at all - almost like a platicky aroma. And the pricetag is just not worth it.

Love the smell and feel of this lotion. After putting some one, people always seem to comment on how good I smell. The aroma of lavender is quite soothing and uplifting, and I feel good about using Avalon products.
Treatments -Alpha Hydrox - AHA Souffle 12 percent Glycolic AHA

La-la-la-LOVE IT. Smooth, clear, pimple-free. Excellent tone. Nice glow. Immediate results. No rash or bad reaction. Wish it came in a squeeze bottle or sumthin other than a jar. Been using this on and off for years and keep returning. Very close to HG. For me, HG would means it ALSO lightens my freckles and tightens and shrinks pores (mine are seriosuly gymongous). Message me if you have any sugg's - thanks. UPDATE 7/08: Ah disappointment. This company tests its products on animals, hence I can no longer support it. Been off for about 2 weeks and I have incessant eruptions on my chin and now around my nose...So I guess the stuff works but doesn't justify supporting animal-cruelty.
I got this in Enchanted for under $2. It's a nice spicy nude with shimmer. It glides on easily, the color isn't too harsh on me (medium warm olive), and it's cheap. For a matte look, I leave it on as is. For something more luminescent, I pat on a bit of shimmery gloss. For a deeper look, I use it as a liner with nude or golden lipcolor. It's sharpens well and it's slim so it stores easily. Simple.
Moisturizers -Olay - Age Defying Daily Renewal Cream - Beta Hydroxy Complex
jomia23 3/12/2008 2:57:00 AM
Doesn't seem to be working for me, after about 2 weeks of trying. I'd been using Alpha Hydrox 12% for years, thought I'd give this beta hydroxy a try after reading somewhere that it's more potent than alpha h. No improvement and I'm beginning to get funky bumps over my chin and forehead. Is this becasue my skin is still adjusting? Wonder if I should just go back to AHA cream.
I really didn't like the cucumber-ish scent. Why did I expect it to smell like Bath and Body's version? Stupid. The shampoo itself is fine, doesn't strip, hair feels clean, blah blah blah...I just wanted sumthin that smelled good...

Diamacel and Tweezerman's Pedro did not work for me. I can't believe how well this $8 file works. My feet are smooth, soft and look good. I finish it off with some Miracle Foot Repair. Love that stuff too. *5 year guarantee by the Swedish Clover Co.

Nothing worked for my bf's psoriasis. Nizoral helped lessen the scaling and flakes, but I would still catch him scratching awaw a lot. Psoriasin didn't seem to help neither. With this stuff, within the first week, he stopped scracthing,. noticed the scaling has lessened a whole lot, and 2 weeks later, no flakes, no scaling, no itching. He still uses Nizoral about twice a week for maintenance as recommended by other psoriasis-sufferers. Hope this stuff never stops working. Incredible.

The poo works fine. Don't like the smell. Not a miracle worker for me.
Conditioner -Got 2 Be - Hottie Deep Rescue Conditioner [DISCONTINUED]

Eh. Detangles. Feels soft after blowdrying. Loses its softness later in the day. Smells interestingly like Dr. Pepper to me. Better, more lasting softness with Finesse, Pantene and Infusium for same pice or less.
