Lipstick -MAC - Frost Lipstick in Plastique

I LOVE this color. It is not too frosty or brown on me at all. I consider it a medium shade for sure- I never wear dark colors. On me, there is no pink or rose showing through, only a coppery brown color. Again, if it was too brown I would never wear it. The thing about this lipstick is that it will look very different with different liners and glosses. I wear mine with a medium nude liner and it really makes it stand out. It is such a gorgeous color. I am glad I gave it a chance. The first time I wore it, I paired it with a liner that was too light and too pinkish and it looked awful. Now I love it. I also should add that I use with a primer which takes away a bit of the frost on me. I am fair skinned with light brown hair and green eyes. The lip primer takes away any pigment in my lips, and this lipstick still looks amazing.

I am so glad I read the reviews on drugstore.com for this product! I LOVE this eye cream. On me, it is not drying at all. I have noticed an immediate difference in puffiness and circles. I have allergies, and sometimes stay up too late, etc... but with this cream, I look fabulous when I wake up! My eye area feels moist, not dry. Actually, I only use it at night b/c I feel like it is a little too moist for daytime under makeup. My crows feet even look better. I don't have bad ones b/c I am only 32, but this eye cream definitley helps. I think that 20 bucks is very reasonable for a good eye cream that works. I usually only buy higher end ones but for now I am sticking with this. I am even going to go and buy a back up one. I have been satisfied with some other eye creams but this one is by far the best one I have used in a while.

Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Long handled Kabuki

Best brush ever. I can't believe it is so inexpensive, too. I have two now, one for blush and one for powder. I LOVE it. Most brushes tend to irritate my skin but this one is wonderful and has held up well so far. This entire line is really good. I am so glad I found it!

Powder -Everyday Minerals - Pressed Powder: Fair Yellow

I love everyday minerals and have never had a problem with any of their products. I knew what to expect with the packaging... not great but for the price and quality who cares. I used this ONCE and it sat in my purse overnight. I went to use it the next day and when I opened it up, it was broken to pieces and made a huge mess all over my sink. I noticed it was a little "loose" in the cardboard pan but did not think much of it until I saw how it fell apart without any reason. Hopefully they will send me another that won't do this. It really covered well. I mean, even the cheap drugstore compacts are packaged better than this at a third of the price. They have such a good product. I just wish the packaging was better.

Hair Color -Wella - Color Charm Demi-Permanent Hair Color

I am so glad I used this! I have light golden brown hair. For the last 2 years I go and get lowlights every 3 or 4 months to get it this color but keep wanting it darker. My natural color is a very light ash brown-blonde. Yuck. So every time I go to the salon and ask for darker, I come out and it looks exactly the same. Nobody can tell the difference. Last time I watched and counted the number of foils I got. 10 to be exact. So I was paying over 100 bucks for 10 lousy foils, which would be okay if it actually came out nice. I decided to do some research and take matters into my own hands. All of the pros say that it safer to do your own hair if you are not going lighter or a totally different color. After reading the reviews here, I decided to go with the Wella demi color 7NG which is medium golden blonde. I knew it would only deposit color on my already colored hair and figured if it wasn't dark enough I could go one shade darker next time. Long story short.... it worked! My hair is a couple of shades darker now...like a medium golden BROWN and is not flat or dull at all. I looks so natural. My husband loves it and it totally warmed up my skin. My skin is fair and when my color is too light I look washed out. Even my makeup looked 10 times better last night just from my hair being a little darker. I don't know how long it will last but it is so inexpensive that I can touch it up every six weeks if I need to. Do yourself a favor and do a strand test AND pick a shade several lighter that what you want. I did two strand tests....one on hair that was lighter and one on hair that looked like it had lowlights in it. I am so happy to finally have the color I want without paying so much money.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Lash Out

I have been using this for a long time. I am always looking for something new and better, so I do experiemet with different mascaras, expensive and cheap. But I always go back to Lash Out. It gives me great length and volume. However, it does smudge a little by the end of the day. I don't know why, but it just fits my eyes. I have tried so many other mascaras where the wands are too fat and this one is perfect for my eyes. This mascara is pretty inexpensive so it is worth it to give it a try. I do repleace it more often than other mascaras because it tends to get thick in tube a little bit faster than normal.

Lip Gloss -Bourjois - Effet 3 D Lipgloss

I really love this gloss. It looks like you are wearing gloss, which is the whole point for me. Some glosses just sink into your lipstick and then I wonder why I bother. However, this really does give my lips some dimension and it is not sticky or tacky. At first I liked the brush applicator but mine quickly became frayed from taking it in and out of the tube. Oh well. I still like it alot. It smells great, too.

This stuff is just okay for me. I don't really notice a difference good or bad, and I have been using it for 2 months. I usually don't judge an eye cream until I have been using it for a while. My eyes have looked better with other creams. I thought I would give this a shot since the price was reasonable, but next time I will pay more for better quality.

Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Matte Formula

I love this mineral makeup! Over the past 7 years, I have spent more than I would like to admit on mineral makeups and foundations/powders. The search is over. Thank God for makeup alley, because that is how I discovered everyday minerals. This stuff makes my skin VERY smooth and the color selection is amazing. The matte is perfect in my opinion. Try the free samples. It is worth it to find the right shade and formula for such amazing looking skin! I get full coverage, yet it is natural looking. Best of all, the samples arrived quickly. I got my free samples on a Friday, wore them all weekend, ordered my full sizes on Monday, and on Friday they were waiting on me when I got home!!!! One week turnaround is not bad. I wore this makeup to work all day, then to graduate school all night. When I got home, my makeup still looked great, and by that time I had been wearing it 14 hours. Now I am trying all of their blushes. They also have a fabulous kabuki brush that is really inexpensive just like the rest of this line. I think it is very cool that this company will always give you a free sample kit with every order. Try it....

Lip Liners -Prestige - Waterproof Lipliner - Natural

Fabulous liner. Very much like a lot of expensive ones I have tried in the past. Texture and color are wonderful and it lasts all day which prevents certain lipsticks or glosses of mine from bleeding. I am buying more prestige liners ASAP!

Lipstick -MAC - Lustre - Honeyflower [DISCONTINUED]

I love this lipstick. At first I thought it was going to be too sheer, but then I got it home and actually put it on with liner and lip primer. Gorgeous. On me, it is kind of a light orangey-brown. I have fair skin and medium golden brown hair. Looks great with or without gloss. If I did not use a primer and liner, I am sure this would not look as good as it does. I am using this lipstick all the time now, so I know I will need a new one sooner that normal!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Exact

I really like this mascara. I am trying not to spend huge amounts of money on mascara since I go through so much and this one fits the bill. It gives me great looking lashes and I really like a lot of mascara. I get length and definition from this mascara and no clumps. This is by far one of the better drugstore brands! Try it....

Bronzers -NARS - Laguna

This is the best bronzer ever... I buy a new one every year. The color is brownish, so it looks natural BUT it is light and shimmery as well. I wear it almost every day. A little goes a long way. I have fair skin so I can't use any bronzers that are orangey and this one fits the bill.

This is hands-down, the best brow powder I have ever used! ( and I have used ALOT ) I have very very light brows and medium golden brown hair. I use this is Medium Ash. It looks soooooooo natural. Please try this on at Sephora or somewhere before you buy. In the pot, it looked too ash-like and dull for me, but when I put it on it turns into almost the exact color of my hair. It goes on smoothly BUT does not fade or rub off by the end of the day. I am so glad I found this. I have used so many other expensive brands and NONE compare to this product. It is worth the cost. No matter what you do to your makeup, if your brows are not fabulous then nothing else will matter. If you have light brows, invest in this product.

I LOVE this product! It is a gorgeous warm reddish brown color that just lights up my face. I normally don't wear dark lipstick, and while I wouldn't describe this as dark, it definitely stands out. I can reapply without it getting cakey and it never dries up my lips.... Staying power is awesome for a product using the word gloss. It is just a thinner consistency than lipstick but has a lot of pigment. I do wear a lip primer and pencil with this product and cannot say enough good things about it. I have fair skin, golden brown hair, and green eyes. I can't wait to try other gloss sticks!
