Toners -Clinique - Clarifying Lotion #2

I know how to use this product and I used a cotton ball not a pad, didn't use it liberally, and basically it gave me a chemical burn. I think this is the worst part of a pretty mediocre skin care "system."

Primer/ Corrector -MAC - Prep + Prime Skin

I wanted to like this product very badly. I feels nice and smooth when I put it on. It has a nice shimmer to it. I like the packaging. I'm not sure if it's doing anything to help my skin appear better under foundation. I've used the following foundations and concealers with it and this primer does not prevent product from settling in my pores: MAC Select SPF 15 Moistureblend MAC Studio Finish Matte L'oreal True Match Foundation L'oreal Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation Shiseido Sun Protection Compact Foundation SPF 34 MAC Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer MAC Select Coverup Concealer Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer It could possibly be me, maybe I'm expecting too much. I think I'll try the Smashbox or Benefit primers.

Crème -MAC - Select SPF 15 Moistureblend [DISCONTINUED]

I knew I was going down the wrong path when the "Makeup Artist" recommended NC30. However, I thought that maybe my skin was more tanned. After 10+ years of using MAC, I should have stood firm on NW25. So basically I asked her what solution I would need for the flakiness and large pores around my nose. I find that most foundations just amplify the flakiness and the product just settles in my pores making them look much worse. I have combination skin that's on the dry side with occasional hormonal breakouts. She immediately pulled out the Moistureblend. I bought it. It's bad. The color is wrong for me and though it feels nice to put on, it doesn't seem to help moisturize my face at all. I like that it has SPF in it, but I already wear an SPF 50 religiously. It does exactly what I bought it NOT to do... it amplifies the flakiness around my nose and settles in the pores. *sigh*

Eyeliner -Jordana - Color XTend Eyeliner in Morning Coffee [DISCONTINUED]

I just need to post, ignore my ratings. What is going on with Jordana Color XTend? I've been to Walgreens and all I found were 3 other Jordana eyeliners. I can't even find it on the Jordana website, http://www.jordanacosmetics.com or the Walgreen's website. I read on another Jordana Color Xtend thread here that it is being discontinued. Is this true? If so, I need to know so I will stop lusting after it and move on. I've seen some people selling them on E-bay for definitely more than 99 cents. I would go there, but it doesn't seem right. I bought 2 of the other Jordana eyeliners and they are okay... nothing to write MUA about.

Lip Treatments -Prada - Shielding Lip Balm SPF 15 Tint #3
j3nn3y 12/8/2005 4:10:00 AM
This lip balm is definitely different from any other lipbalm that I've tried. The packaging is perfect, though I guess I was slightly put off by the amount of wrapping. I'm not sure that each individual lipbalm tube has to come in it's own envelope. I hadn't opened the box until I read the reviews here. I can see how the colour may not work for everyone, but I am a medium skin toned Asian(MAC NW25) and I found that the "peach" worked really well on me. I didn't find the balms overly pigmented and though there is a tint of colour, it's not that noticeable on me. The scent reminded me of sunscreen. I'm tempted to rush out and buy more.
