This product didn't do anything for my brows altho I used it as directed until the bottle was gone.

I use this in a DIY vitamin C serum with ferulic acid, distiled water and Anti-oxidant booster (also sold by Skinactives). Better than SkinCeuticals and a lot fresher without the "hotdog" smell that SC has.
Made my skin break out in pimples - and I do not usually have that problem except with the wrong products....and this is wrong for me. It didn't make my skin feel at all clean after using as directed. All it does is smell pretty and look pretty. In the cheap plastic tube it turns into a slimy mess. Would not repurchase.
Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - The Soft Touch Body Butter

Works nicely for dry dehydrated hands, heels, nails and cuticles. The product stays on a long time d/t the beeswax. The smell is not to my liking and I wouldn't describe it as vanilla at all - more like WD-40!!!!!. But I'll keep using it at bedtime cuz it works! ***My gripe with LUSH:The trouble with ordering online from LUSH is that they send everything all mixed up together in a box. So that everything smells like everything else....the Soft Touch Body Butter ends up smelling like the nasty Rock Star soap sample (bubble gum fragrance) they included and the Gentle Lentil shampoo. Why oh why? Sure, cut down on packaging...but what's the point if the fragrances are all muddled together? Never ordering again online!!!
Treatments -MyChelle - Ultra Hyaluronic Hydrating Serum
goodtiger 4/28/2009 11:35:00 PM
This is a new staple for me. I use it over my DIY C serum in the morning. It adds a nice glow and plumps up any fine lines all day long. It makes a nice base layer for any other moisturizing products I might need according to season. Doesn't cause other products fo ball up as some other HA serums have done in the past. Doesn't sting or burn. Smells strongly of honey.
Polishes -Christian Dior - Addict Nail Color in Trigger Plum

I've had the same bottle for 8 years and still going strong! I only need one coat (pedi only) so it lasts forever. The formula is very thick to begin with and just never seems to dry out in the bottle. Very long-lasting on my nails - I use a base coat and a top coat (Jessica Reward - another HG)- and a pedi lasts about 3 weeks. A classsic.
I agree - this is more like a light foundation than a TM. Very sensual texture and can be applied in layers for more coverage without looking cakey or masky. I use a primer and SS under it, which works well for my normal skin and it still looks natural and velvety. A bit of concealer and I'm done! #2 works well for my lt/med tone without being too pink or "bandaid beige". Its slightly yellow undertone makes it blend red areas out well. The only drawback is the fact that it is highly fragranced. Not a real problem for me, but it could be for sensitive gals. I rec'd a tube in swap from a lovely MUAer, but wouild def purchase when it runs out. EDIT: the fragrance was just getting to me! Since finding Diorskin Nude foundation this one has taken a backseat!

For $37.99 @ Meijer stores and $14.99 for refills from the online website this is cheaper that the light-assisted whitening procedures in dentists' offices. The system comes with a battery-operated lighted tray that fits into your mouth and 10 pre-moistened hydrogen peroxide strips that fit into the tray. You have to do each arch separately at 20 minutes each for 5 days. Just started using it so will update after the 5 days is up.
Foundations -Awake - Skin Renovation Liquid Makeup

After using it for several months and comparing it to others, I'm ready to declare it a 3 in the category of Formal Liquid Medium-coverage Fdns. Not an everyday one, since it's expensive and hard-to-find, but def nice for days when I want to look just perfectly put together. The only place to get it in USA is thru the Kose-USA.com website, but I was lucky to get it in swap from a wonderful and generously kind swapper in a color that works fine for me: Honey04. Looks darker than my skin in the bottle, but with my SK Blue Peep it goes on smoothly and blends just perfectly. Goes on a bit matte but the heat of my skin seems to make it more natural looking. I even use the thick drops around the opening of the pump for concealer under my eyes and around my nose. Contains pearl extract to give it a slight glow, but not "luminous". More "polished". The pump works just fine and dispenses any amount you want: 1/2 pump, full pump, a drop -no waste. I still have only used about 1/16 but would absolutely repurchase if I ran out. Seems to shrink the look of pores on the nose and "shrinkwrap" the fine lines.
Ug! This has to be the worst dept store makeup ever! First, the pump does not work after pumping patiently for 5 minutes! Went back and tried again another 3 minutes. Nothing. Then the product is very matte and dry-looking. The color, Cool Sand 10 is all-wrong for my lt/med golden tone skin. Blech - back it goes. I give up on Tarte foundations! Never found one that I like!
It's hard to find a hair spray that doesn't yellow my white blonde highlights and make the rest of my hair look dark. This really IS crystal clear! It never yellows or darkens. It even seems to add a nice shine. Fragrance is not overpowering and fades quickly. No heavy lacquer smell. Holding power is just so-so though. Very light holding power that takes several layers to really add any volume to the underneath layers of my style. Still, at this price, I can afford to be lavish with it and would def repurchase.
Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Microfiber cloths

I use this as a bronzer/highlighter for my light/medium skin. Doesn't make me look OompaLoompa or TinMan....just perfect! Leaves a fresh clean glow when applied with a Stila retractable bronzer brush in a "3" figure, starting at the temple--> to the top of the cheek --->to the jaw. The jar is very clumsy to use, too bad it's not in a Meteorites jar....lippies off for that. At $55USD it's not cheap by a long shot, but it will last forever.....thank goodness, as it's LE 2008. Edit: I found that decanting some of the pearls into an 11 g screw top jar (available from Lumierecosmetics.com) and using my old Lancome #3 fiberoptic brush does the trick and is a lot less messy than dealing with that horrible jar that the Stones come in from Guerlain!
Overall: . Good enough formula, but heavy coverage when applied with fingers. Does a good job of moisturizing and giving airbrushed finish. Colors are awful as par the course for d/s foundations. "Light" (Nude) is actually a medium, comparable to MAC 30 approx. The colors are in the beige, pink and "orange" range. Bad. Price: $7 at Meijer's Packaging: nice pump bottle, but no factory seal so who knows how many fingers have been in it before yours? Wouldn't buy again unless I could find a shade that actually matched.
Lip Gloss -Clinique - Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Guavagold
goodtiger 12/29/2008 5:19:00 PM
I like sticky lipgloss so this is a fave of mine! It stays on a good long time and the color is a beautiful pale nude/apricot with a lot of gold shimmer. Taste is neutral, nothing special or bad. No fragrance. NIce sturdy doe's-foot applicator. Pretty lucite and silver tube. Love.
