Fragrances -GAP Beauty - Dream

I love this scent. I caught a whiff of it in seventh grade when a friend from another school was wearing it. It's the first scent I ever purchased, so it's attached to many junior high memories. I still wear it every now and then (these things last freaking forever. or maybe I just like to stockpile and haven't used them as much as most usually do). :]

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Country Apple
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 6:14:00 AM
I'm depressed that they discontinued this (although they now have an 'irresistible apple'?). Apple is my all-time favorite scent. I can't get enough of it. But I gotta say, I loved this stuff like no other. The only thing I could find that compared to it (because it was cheaper and smelled about the same) = Apple Fantasy, which I used to get from Longs. I don't know if they have that anymore though. :[

Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Lotion
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 6:11:00 AM
I was stupid and ran out of moisturizer once and made the mistake of putting it on my face (...). Terrible idea. It burned (hello, alcohol) and stung for a little while, but I'm okay; it's still nice for the rest of the body, and that's what I get for being cheap. I got this during one of the mass sales, so the price was pretty nice. I like the smell--with vanilla, it's a little hard to go wrong. As far as lotions go, it does its job well.

Cleansers -Dove - Cool Moisture foaming cleanser with cucumber extract and green tea
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 6:07:00 AM
I'd probably get this again if I can't find anything better. This is fine; it works with my dry skin (sometimes, it feels like I'm just putting lotion on my face when I use it) and leaves it feeling clean and smooth. However, it's pretty gentle--enough so that I sometimes wonder if I've left any on my face. I use it almost every morning, and it does keep my skin in check. I was attracted to the cucumber/green tea part; it leaves the smell of cucumbers for a little while, but that eventually fades. It's slightly lacking in that extra 'oomph,' but when my original tube got taken away by airport security (it was almost full then ;_; ), I liked it enough to buy another one.

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 6:03:00 AM
It's very convenient to use and I'm semi-hooked on this stuff, since it's pretty inexpensive as well. I have the generic one, plus the more gentle one. It leaves my skin feeling disturbingly soft afterward, and it's really exfoliating, so I liked that. The last review kinda creeped me out though, so I'm wondering if I should continue getting it.

Scrubs -Aveeno - Skin Brightening Daily Scrub
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 5:56:00 AM
My mom bought this for the family, and it works well with my skin (which is slightly dry, but fairly resistant to basically everything, so I guess I have experimental leeway). I think the faint acne scars I had have lightened, and it leaves my face feeling really clean and refreshed. I alternate it with St. Ives, and this one is a whole lot more gentle.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer spf15
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 5:52:00 AM
My skin's somewhat dry, especially during the winter. It goes onto my skin smoothly and does do a good job of moisturizing it. I also like the fact that it has SPF. I try to use it every day (mornings), but I forget, so it's actually been lasting for awhile. I just feel that there must be a cheaper product out there that can do the same thing, so I may experiment with something else after I finish this off.

Concealers -E.L.F. - Tone Correcting Concealer
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 5:38:00 AM
At $1, you can afford to experiment to see if it works for you. I bulk-ordered e.l.f. products with a friend, so I'm in the process of trying them out. I got tone 2, and although I was initially really worried that it wouldn't match my skin tone, it blends in perfectly. I'm pretty makeup-retarded, but this is unbelievably easy to put on, and when I use it, my face looks almost flawless. I only wish I'd gotten more.

Fragrances -Escada - Sunset Heat Women
flawdperfecti0n 1/26/2008 5:32:00 AM
I'm biased on the price because I got a 100 mL bottle for $9.99. I've never been the type to wear perfume at all, but I am completely in love with this scent. As a forewarning though, it's really fruity, so if you're not into that, don't get this. It reminds me of summer and warm tropical places, so I love it to death. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this, and just smelling it makes me smile. It's a blend of papaya, lemon, mango, pineapple, peach, watermelon, lotus flower, hibiscus, sandalwood, musk, and amber. I've read a lot of complaints on its lack of staying power, but for me, it lasts all day. I don't care that it's considered a more summer-ish scent. Wearing it and smelling it during the winter just reminds me of the good that is to come. *-* If I ever somehow run out of this gigantic bottle, I'm definitely getting another.
