The emulsion over all is OK. The texture is light, but moisturizing enough. I have oily/combination in summer, but it doesn't feel oily at all. I like the pump design, so I don't have to turn over the bottle very time I use it. However, I do no see its whitening claim. I bought it for what it is advertising about, but it ended up like a normal moisturizer. So I won't spend ~$40 on a regular moisturizer again.

Mascara -Maybelline - XXL volume+length microfiber mascara

I didn't really see the lengthening in this product. The primer did add some volume. Mine dried up pretty quickly. So the mascara couldn't cover the primer after several uses. I hope the new one won't disapopint me like this one.

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Discovery Mascara

I really like the mini brush design. Since I have small eyes, a big bristle usually gets mascara onto places other than my lashes. This mini brush is just perfect to find hidden lashes, or corners hard to brush with regular brushes. I also use on my lower lashes, too. It doesn't get clumpy or flaky. However, I would not buy this again cuz my eyes are oily, and smudge all Maybelline mascara.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

Exactly, I don't see the hype about this mascara at all. And I don't see what's so "great" about it. It's a very mediocre mascara. It only give your lashes a tint, and that's basically it. It's really more like a toy you put on for fun, can't really call it "cosmetics".

Loose Powders -Shu Uemura - Face powder matte

Actually, I would give it a 3.9. I was looking for more of a translucent loose powder, but 7YR light makes me look too pale. So now I don't use it when I use foundation. If I want a more natural look, I would brush on just 7YR light without foundation. I like its net-looking separater. The fragrance is a little too strong. This is not a bad product, but not good enough for me to rave about it. Probably wouldn't buy it again, since there are probably cheaper alternatives out there.

Mascara -Maybelline - Sky High Curves Extreme Length and Curl [DISCONTINUED]

I decided to give this mascara a try since my friend gave good review about it. When I first applied it, it did curl my lashes a bit. But it fell down after awhile. Plus, I got oily eyes that almost every Maybelline mascara will smudge. It is a little flaky, and doesn't separate well. Had to use lash comb to correct it. And it does dry up pretty quickly. This mascara is very mediocre, won't buy it again.

Eye Makeup Remover -H20 - Dual Action Eye Makeup Remover

The BEST eye make-up remover I have used so far. I enjoyed shaking it up before using it. When I wear light make-up, it cleans everything (eye shadow, eye liner, mascara) up in one sweep. It cleans completely and doesn't make me feel my eyes are dry. It doesn't irritate. Although it is a little expensive, but I buy it when H2O has 25% off. I'm on my second bottle now. I'm very careful with my eyes, since eye area is very delicate, so I think it's worth it.

Eye Makeup Remover -Maybelline - Expert Eyes Moisturizing Remover for waterproof Eye Makeup

This is the worst eye make-up remover I've ever used! It's too oily that leave my eyes globbed together with oil. It feels more like baby oil. It is "moisturizing" like its name, but way too oily for me. Took me more time to remove the oil than my make-up. I bought it cuz I was buying some Maybelline mascara, so I thought might as well give it a try. After my first use, I realized "what you buy is what you get." Now I use it to clean my lash comb and lash curler. Definitely won't buy it again.

Eye Makeup Remover -Biotherm - Biocils Eye Makeup Remover Gel

I wanted to try an eye make-up remover in gel form, so I picked Biotherm, since it's one of my favorite brands. Also my counsin who used it gave good review about it. But honestly, I feel very disappointed after my first use. It can remove eye shadow and eye liner pretty well. But when it comes to mascara, it's a pain in some part of my anatomy. It gets mascara into my eyes!! And I have to apply it several times to completely remove my mascara, which is not even waterproof or smudge proof. My eyes get dry and red after I completely removed my make-up. Plus, the formula sting my eyeballs when in contact. I have to shut my eyes tight, almost like I'm squinting. I think I will go back to H2O's make-up remover, which may be more expensive but more gentle and efficient. Right now I use Biocils to remove my foundation and eye shadow only. I won't purchase this again.

Moisturizers -H20 - H20 Green Tea Antioxidant Complex

I have combination skin, so I get dry T-zone during winter. Face Oasis isn't hydrating enough for my T-zone, so I went to H2O and asked them for a more creamy moisturizer. I really liked this moisturizer because it's creamy but not heavy, absorbs easily. And the scent is very pleasant! The packaging is special, too. I now use it as my Q-tip holder. I would buy it again this winter.

Mascara -H20 - Silk Mascara

I got this masacara along with Paradise Collection from H2O's make-up line. I would say it's a normal mascara, nothing too bad about it. It does get a little clumpy. After I applied it, I use my Tweezerman lash comb to separate my lashes. The only good thing is that it doesn't smudge like my Maybelline masacaras, so I use it as a top coat. But I wouldn't buy this product again, since I know there's many cheaper equivalents out there.
