O.K. damn it, I'll admit that I got this eyeshadow because of that luscious video of Kim Kardashian working with the delicious make up artist. At first I was very disappointed because that particular application of the product didnt work for me at all. But I have since reclaimed Chopper for use in my way. This is the eyeshadow that I can brush lightly over my eyelid for gorgeous coverage. It is the perfect colour for my rather dark, deep set, kinda small brown eyes - really makes my eyes appear wider and brighter. I tend to wear this alone with no other colour but when I put it on, it looks like I have contoured and shaded. It really is beautiful. I have had no problem with fall out and sparkles -even though I am aware that such things can be ageing on someone of my age group. For some reason this really works for me. Love it x
This is a product I heard about on the Youtube tracks and confirms my faith in research. I have only really started getting into make up and began by using a few different types of low and medium coverage products. This is the one I have settled with for every day. It gives me a glowy, tanned colour and a dewy finish to my skin - without encouraging any oiliness at all. It has proven to be very good for my skin even when I have removed it. It is also very welcoming to blush, eyeshadows and anything else I am wearing on my skin. Fantastic product and I already have a spare packet in my cupboard. (ps eat mangosteens, they are the most delicious fruit you have ever tasted!)
Rimmel Alarm is my first red lipstick and has inspired me to write my first review. I am often very disappointed when I purchase make up on impulse at the supermarket - and consequently I had no idea I would love this so much. I didn't know I could wear bright lipstick so well. It brightens my often dull olive skin, it is incredibly moisturising even though I often suffer from dry lips and it doesn't feather at all on me. I adore its scent too - it smells like bubble gum to me. In a 9-5 work day, I need to touch up about 3 times - and that seems reasonable to me. I am usually a 'high end' cosmetic girl and I'm not sure any other Rimmel products will work for me, but I will keep an eye out for any other lipsticks in this range. So excited that I can "pull off" red lipstick!
