Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Mineral Eyeshadow in Elegant
dididianee 3/27/2010 1:42:00 PM
Only eyeshadow that I use. I wear this on days where I do not have time to wear eyeliner. I sweep this on my lids, add concealer and powder, and I'm set for the day! I also use this on my tear-ducts from time to time.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner
dididianee 3/27/2010 1:40:00 PM
Pros: 1. very creamy and easy to apply 2. good color pay off 3. excellent brush 4. available at most drugstores Cons: 1. smudges like CRAZY even with powder on my lids (worked well with the Clinique cream liner) and I looked like a raccoon within fours hours. 2. quite expensive for a drugstore product-- about $10 Overall, I will not buy this product again. I will rather spend a few more bucks to get a better quality eyeliner.

Powder -Prestige - MultiFinish Wet Dry Powder Foundation
dididianee 3/27/2010 1:31:00 PM
**This is my first powder, so I can't really compare it to anything else. Anyway, after reading all of the reviews here, I decided to buy this at a local pharmacy (my eyeliner was smudging like crazy and I read that putting powder to soak up the oil on the upper lid and lower lid will keep it from smudging) in Warm Ivory. The packaging is bulky so I did not bring it to class, and it was hard for me to open the lid at first, but it became easier later on. I find the best way to apply this without looking cakey (yes, it does get cakey especially around the eye area) is to use a powder brush and sweep it on places where I spot concealed. This made my eyeliner last longer as well as my concealer. It also gave me a "no makeup-y" look and it controlled oil on my nose the entire day..without touch-ups. Will buy this again, and will be really mad if my local pharmacy stops carrying this product.

Currently using this with my Dove shampoo (Cosco didn't have the shampoo on sale..) and I'm not sure if its this product or the shampoo, but lately my hair has been really shiny and healthy looking. Also, I love the smell !

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Drama Clean refreshing shampoo
dididianee 3/27/2010 1:24:00 PM
I loveeeeeee this shampoo, it smells great and really makes my hair feel clean and less greasy (my hair gets oily after a day). The only thing I can complain about is the dispenser. For some reason, every time I bought this shampoo (I've used other shampoos and conditioners from this line) the dispenser is hard to push down. I would probably buy this again, but I'm currently experimenting with other shampoos.

Styling Products -TRESemme - Tres Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray
dididianee 3/27/2010 1:20:00 PM
Pros: 1. Holds curls. 2. Cheap. 3. LOVE the spraying nozzle-- less effort to get the product out of the can. Cons: 1. Strong smell that lasts throughout the day. 2. Crunchy hair if sprayed too much. Overall, I will not buy this product again mostly because I do not use hairspray as often as before, and the smell really bothers me, especially since everyone else smells it too.

Cleansers -TheFACEShop - Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam- Mung Beans
dididianee 2/16/2010 10:31:00 PM
I've decided to rewrite my review for this. Rating will remain the same. First of all, the packaging. It's the standard squeezing container most cleansers come in, but I love the simple design and the color selection- bright green mung beans in a cream background. I thought it was simply attractive and had a 'clean' feeling. First impression: It really did 'brighten' up my face and dimmed the redness caused by my acne. It had a refreshing smell and it lathers up really well. A small dot, around the size of a medium rice grain would be enough for the entire face. It also took most of my makeup off (remaining residue was from eye makeup.) After washing, however, my skin felt really dry. I continued using it for a week until I realized that I was breaking up in small pimples everywhere. I figured that it was still too drying for me and that cream cleansers would suit me the best. I decided to reuse the product a few months later-- around June. I thought that it was my unhealthy diet that caused the mild breakouts. Also, since it was the summertime, and my skin is a little more oily, I believed the cleanser would be a good choice. However, once again, I broke out--even when I was eating healthy. Once I switched back to my St. Ives cream cleanser, my break outs were gone. I really wanted to like this product, but it seems as if natural skincare products are not suitable for my skin.

Cleansers -St. Ives - Apricot Cleanser-Invigorating
dididianee 1/17/2010 1:23:00 AM
I loveeee this product! I don;t know what's in it, but it leaves my skin soft and smooth and pimple free, even though it doesn't remove all of my makeup (which doesn't bother me, since I use a makeup remover beforehand). Will be repurchasing!

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque
dididianee 1/17/2010 1:21:00 AM
I mainly use this to dry out my pimples, but there's one thing I do not like about this product. When you pick a pimple and you put this product as it closes, the product WILL get stuck onto the new layer of skin when you leave it on overnight. Therefore, when you wash it off, you will see maybe a bit of product on your acne scar. However, it is still an effective product, and I love using it as a mask because my skin feels a lot softer afterwards. Another thing that irks me a little is that the product is harder to get out of the tube when you're halfway done. Will be repurchasing.

Moisturizers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer SPF 15
dididianee 1/17/2010 1:17:00 AM
This was an okay product for me, and unlike others, I actually like the scent. It moisturized my skin pretty well and it didn't break me out. Might repurchase if it was on sale because it's a bit pricey for me.

Concealers -Urban Decay - 24/7 Concealer in DEA
dididianee 1/9/2010 3:48:00 PM
I bought this product about 3 months ago, and I have been using it nearly everyday ever since (as in only during school days). It gives me full coverage and also helps cover my dark circles and it does not settle in the fine lines. However, it does accentuate dry spots, so be sure to moisturize well. Also, it DOES cover some pimples, but beware of using this on scabs-- it WILL show. Also, I found the packaging a bit unsanitary, so I scooped out some of the product and placed it in a container. This product is long lasting (I put this on around 6:50am and it didn't slide off my face when I took it off at 4:00pm). Will be repurchasing unless I can find something better for the same price.

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Deep Action Cream Cleanser
dididianee 1/1/2010 1:14:00 PM
I bought this product because I had good experiences with other cream cleansers. However, this cleanser started breaking me out ON THE FIRST DAY. That time I thought that maybe I wasn't cleaning my hands often enough when I use my electronics, or that it was my Aveeno SPF 15 Moisturizer. For the next two days, I started getting bigger, redder pimples on my cheeks and around my chin (I usually never break out here!) Also, this DOES not get all of my makeup off as it claimed to be. It also smelled a bit.. off. The only positive thing I can say about this product is: 1. It gives your face a 'tingly' feeling afterwards. 2. There's a lot of product for what you paid for. (I bought mine for $6.50)

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Cucumber Melon Body Spray
dididianee 12/29/2009 10:56:00 PM
This product didn't work well with my body chemistry. It smells nice in the bottle, but the scent quickly disappears after maybe 5 seconds. What's left is an alcohol-like smell. My friend told me that I smelled like that I just washed my hair when I went to class with it. Not exactly sure if that's a good thing in my book. Won't be repurchasing.

Eyeliner -Urban Decay - Graffiti 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
dididianee 12/29/2009 10:51:00 PM
I LOVE this eyeliner! I bought this on a whim on one of my trips to Sephora, and I was in love when I tried this on. I wear this mainly on Fridays to cheer myself up and to remind myself that it's the end of the week. I don't really mind the sparkles because I was looking for a dramatic eyeliner, since I usually wear a very basic brown eyeliner to class. The sparkles also don't irritate my eyes, which is another plus. I've noticed that it tends to smudge a bit from my bottom lash lines, but it gives me that 'smudged' look, therefore, it does not bother me. Sharpening is not a big deal either, though sometimes a little more of the product comes out that I would've liked. Would be repurchasing, but that won't be anytime soon.
