Treatments -AMBI - Fade Cream

EDIT: I upped my rating on this. I have the one for oily skin. This works, just took a little longer than the Palmers Fade cream. But now that I am in maintenance mode. It keeps the darkness above my upper lip from reappearing. I have a whole tube, so I spot it on where there's an old acne mark too until it fades. I don't use it all over my face, just where needed. I also started using this on the back of my hands. Put on the top of one hand and rub the tops of your hands together....all those ingredients will help save aging hands....vitamin e, alpha hydrox and the fading agent. I had to use these these drugstore fade creams day and night to start to see results at it took awhile.

Sunscreen -Clinique - City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum 25 SPF

EDIT: I'm editing this because as I get older, I cannot layer a foundation/powder over this without it looking too cakey. But it is excellent on it's own for casual days or beach. Or mix it with liquid foundation to add a little color. This is not discontinued? Not sure why it is marked as such. I've been using this product for quite awhile and really like it. It works perfectly well on it's own an it's an excellent primer too, you don't need an extra primer on top of this. The combo works well for right now and all I'll really need for a casual day out for face. But my concealer and powder go over it well when I need a more polished look. Love the physical sunscreen and the tube lasts for quite a while for me. I've also used it mixed with a little liquid foundation to make my own spf tinted moisturizer too.

Primer/ Corrector -Rimmel - Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer

EDITED: I don't use this myself anymore, but I do use it on my fiances (orange peel-like) nose and it works very well...it really mattifies his nose shine and big pores. If you are used to the heavier primers and like them, you probably won't like this one....it's light-weight, lotion based. If you have big nose pores...this is good to diffuse them. I do not recommend it as an all-over primer by itself.

Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Deep Action Cream Cleanser

EDIT: This is a good product, but I don't use it too much anymore since discovering the natural honey wash and treatment. This is a great oil-free cream cleanser that been my stand-by for years. It's a deep pore cleanser that is non-drying which is what you want for for over 40 skin. I use this as a treatment "pre-wash" since so many cleansers are drying. I coat it on right over face make-up and let it sit for a half hour or so, then use a wash cloth to exfoliate it in and take off. I always use an oil-based remover for eye makeup. I use this as a cold cream too, like you would with Ponds, but without the oil. Just let it sink in....sometimes for overnight. Very refreshing.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse

I just simply don't like this and need to keep trying new ways to make it work....too much effort. I may have liked this 20 years ago, when I could get away with anything. You gotta be careful after 40....less is more. By the way, do not go by the shade on the lid. Go lighter than you think you need...in my opinion. Also....watch your clothes and collar....just don't touch your face. This stuff transfers like crazy.

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer

I stray from this and always come back. Great product to keep acne in check and/or to help heal pimples without drying out skin. Moisturizing while being oil-free. Good formulation for mild to moderate adult acne and I tried a lot of them. If you have more severe acne you probably need a higher dose than the .5% that is in this. But you could always layer this on top of a 1% for an added boost and just for the nice feeling it leaves and it works well under makeup. Feel like it's keeping my pores clean.

Treatments -Palmers - Skin Success Eventone Fade Cream

I had two brown patches above my upper lip that looked like a mustache (hormonal?). This product worked for me after using for about a month..used morning and night. It takes a while of consistant use to see progress. I took off a lippie because of the amount of time it takes to fade them, but they did fade and now it's just once a day for maintenance...or every other day. Give it time to work. Also, the product will change colors in the jar over time, but the product is still good. Had the same jar for over a year now.
