I am embarrased to say I spent so much $ on an eyelash curler, but it's one of the few products I am picky about. It's definitely my HG lash curler so far, and probably always will be. I mean, I don't think I will ever again in this lifetime spend over $20 on an eyelash curler, so yea, the search is over - this is the HG...
Blush -Clinique - Soft-Pressed Powder Blusher in Mocha Pink
daza 2/4/2005 11:19:00 AM
Nice blush for fair skin ladies. Blends on well and stays on pretty long. I would definitely purchase it again. It's only getting 4 lippies because it's not my HG blush. So far my HG is one from Merle Norman...
I have never bought/worn this stuff, so maybe it's not my place to rate it. I am reviewing this because a co-worker of mine wears it. I am glad I am not really in close proximity to her all day. It is yucky, and I always thought it was strange that such a sophisticated middle aged woman wore patchouli oil. It brought back memories of high school when the hippy thing was back in style (lol, 94') and girls wore patchouli oil... One day I asked her nicely, "Is that patchouli that you're wearing?" She said no, and she told me she was wearing Clinique Aromatics Elixir. Ladies, if you are happy with this scent, just go to the local Health Food Store and get a little vile of patchouli oil. I don't know what other notes are in AE, but it has to be at least 75% patchouli. You will save a lot of money!
Concealers -Neutrogena - Skin Soothing Undereye Corrector
daza 2/4/2005 10:24:00 AM
I really like this stuff! It makes my eyes feel soo good in the morning. I absolutely love the packaging and the little brush for application is so gentle. I will say that soothing feeling goes away fairly quickly, but that's OK because it might get a little annoying if it were to last MUCH longer. I am not giving it 5 lippies though because it doesn't cover as well as just a regular concealer would. If it offered just a LITTLE more coverage, I would have rated it 5...
This is so far the best self tanner I have found! It looks REAL (w/ a little added shimmer), and it shows up fairly soon after application. It also lasts a good couple of days! There's one reason I am not giving it 5 lippies: 1) It stinks!!! But all you have to do is allot yourself a couple of extra hours, so you can shower afterwards. This kind of sucks because you have to shower right before to exfoliate. So if you don't mind taking a couple of showers within 2-3 hours, this won't be an issue for you.
Concealers -Physicians Formula - gentle Cover concealer(light)

I really like this stuff. It blends in really well, matches my skin tone, and doesn't look caked on. I took off a lippie because it could stay on just a little bit longer. Also, the little top to it gets kind of loose so it's not very portable...
Lipstick -Lancome - Rouge Absolu Creme in Mauvette
daza 2/3/2005 4:42:00 PM
Once again, I wish I didn't fall in love with Lancome products, they're TOOO expensive! I absolutely love this lipstick though. It moisturizes my lips soo well. I don't wear chapstick because of this stuff. Plus, it's a great color ON. It's pretty scary looking in the tube because it looks way too purple, but don't be afraid, it doesn't look like that on your lips. Of course I would buy it again, I am on my 3rd tube right now.
I've been using this gentle cleanser for the last five years. It's great, and it leaves my skin feeling and looking clean. Also, I like that there's no strong fragrance. The only negative thing I could say about it is that I'd prefer it to lather a little better. Oh, and I like the fact that it's in a pump, but that makes it tough to travel with. These are minor issues so I'm still giving it 5 lippies...
Unfortunately yes, I would buy this product again (considering I've bought it about 5 times). It’s soo expensive, but I can't find anything to compete with it. Update: I still love Definicils, but I've since tried Hypnose, and it's even better! P.S. I couldn't help but notice that A LOT of the lousy reviews for this product, were from people that were rating the GWP sample. IMHO, you cannot get an accurate impression from a sample!
This eyeshadow is a well kept secret. It's not messy, it blends well, and most importantly it STAYS ON... A little pricy, but then again you get what you pay for.
Lip Liners -Jordana - Easyliner for Lips in Rock n' Rose
daza 2/3/2005 2:46:00 PM
I bought this brand of lipliner because it was $1.50 at my local drugstore. I chose this shade because it looked exactly like the Nude shade I normally get from Revlon, only MUCH cheaper. I kept my fingers crossed that it would glide on well, and stay on (and if not, no big deal, it's cheap)... Well, it was all of the above! I just went back and bought another one. One for my purse, and one for my home!
