I purchased this when I could no longer find my Sally Hansen drying drops, in the red bottle, which I assume was discontinued. I always, always use this with my SH Insta Dry Top Coat to speed up the drying process and my nails dry within 2 mins, no shrinkage and no issues with bubbling etc...

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Holiday Kabuki Set

I have always loved all of Ecotools products and will admit, I absolutely jumped at these when they were released because they're so cute! I don't feel, however, that they're that great and rarely reach for them with the exception of the flat topped one which I use once in awhile when my regular foundation kabuki (also by Ecotools) is dirty. Would not repurchase.

Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

I have a few of these lying around and use this each and every morning. I will admit that I have tried very few other eyelash curlers but for the price and the great job this one does, why would I? I will stick to this one as I can't see how paying 20 times the price will result in a product that is that much better.

Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm

I do understand that the packaging is cute and the smell of these are wonderful etc.. but the product itself is rather lackluster and I don't feel it does a good job at moisturizing my lips which is what it's supposed to do. Would not repurchase.

Lipstick -Revlon - Super Lustrous Lipstick - 674 Coralberry

I absolutely love Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks and have a gazillion of them in all sorts of shades and finishes. I used this one quite a bit this past summer as it's a beautiful coral y peach color - for sure it's more coral than peach toned so it may not work for everyone but if it does you'll love it.

Eyeliner -Revlon - Luxurious Color Eyeliner- Sueded Brown 502

I adore this eyeliner for my green eyes. It glides on smoothly, has red tones to it with some shimmer and works really well on the waterline. It's pretty pricey for drugstore but worth the price IMO.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

To my delight, this is now available at Sally's Beauty Supply here in Canada and I no longer have to go to great lengths to get it from the states. This is a wonderful clay based masque for any skin type but especially for oily and acne prone skin. When I first tried it, the smell kinds scared me as I do have sensitive skin but it worked beautifully and always leaves my skin feeling plump yet matte. I love this and will continue to purchase.

I have been using this for a few years now and for me, it's been a lifesaver. It is the one product that I've tried that has really changed the texture, look and feel of my skin more than anything. Beware, as others have stated, that you will not see results overnight and your skin does get worse before it gets better when you start using this but when your skin adjusts to it, it really works miracles!

Eye Primer -BeneFit Cosmetics - Stay Don't Stray

While this product did create an even base and did make my eyeshadow pop, it did crease within a few hours. I'm not saying that it's total crap as I do have very oily skin and can see this working on someone who doesn't have problems with eyeshadow creasing. But for me this did not work and am happy I tried a sample before purchasing as it is expensive.

I can't really say anything about this product that hasn't already been said. I have very oily skin/eyelids and this works far better than anything I've ever used to keep my eyeshadow from creasing. I have tried the ELF, Palladio, Benefit, NYX , L'Oreal and other similar primers with similar consistencies but none can even compare to this one. This is by far the best primer I have ever tried and love it even more that it comes in a squeeze tube. Yes it is expensive but you only need a tiny bit for it to work. HG

Oh Aquaphor, how I love you and all that you do! You moisturize, protect and soothe my cuticles, lips, dry and cracked heels - you even help to protect freshly done tattoos to help the skin heal! In the dead of our cold, blistery winters, I slather you onto my hands and go to bed with cotton gloves on and in the morning, PRESTO!! Baby hands! Thank you for now being available in Canada so that I don't have to go to great lengths to get you!

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I have used this product for years now and always seem to come back to it. Like many others, I always have 3-4 mascaras on the go and am quick to buy the newest and latest one but am often disappointed. This mascara builds volume and length but is never flaky. It is build-able but you have to be careful as it does tend to clump but nothing that a proper lash comb can't fix. I love that it washed off easily at night without any scrubbing. I will continue to purchase this as long as L'Oreal keeps making it!

Highlighters -BeneFit Cosmetics - High Beam

Overall I'm on the fence with this one. I do love the packaging and brush like applicator. The product itself is liquid highlighter which makes it very easy to apply. It creates a beautiful dewy highlight without screaming GLITTER! The problem I have with this is that it is very similar to my Hard Candy Glow all the Way for a fraction of the price. High Beam has golden shimmer where Glow all the Way is more of a cool frost but overall they're very similar. I'm a sucker for highlighters so I probably would buy this again regardless of the price.

Top/Base Coats -Nailtek - Foundation II - Ridge-filling

This has been my HG base coat for 2 + years. I purchase mine from a seller on Ebay and usually buy 2 at a time. When you apply this, it dries to a chalky, gritty consistency and really helps your polish grip onto the nail. It dries very quickly and I'm able to start applying my polish immediately after putting this as a base. Overall, my nails have been strong with no peeling and while I'm not sure if it's due to using this product, keeping my cuticles conditions or the nail file I use, I'm not willing to risk finding out! Just a note that as you get down to the bottom of the bottle, the product tends to cake up on the rim of the bottle and you need to use polish remover to wipe it off, otherwise the chunks will get into the bottle.

Blush -Milani - Baked Blush in Luminoso

I am fair skinned with warm tones an absolutely adore this blush! It is a beautiful peachy pink and has gold shimmer which I love because I don't have to use a separate highlighter when using this. The pigmentation is excellent and it lasts all day. Would highly recommend!
