Great highlight/base color, I use it just on the inner section of the lid and then fill the rest of the eyelid with Cork, a nice light non-shiny brown. Perfecto!

Yes, this is a good quality foundation but I'm having trouble finding a match. The SA recommended 2.0 for me, which in the store's lighting seemed fine but later when I tried it at home it was extremely pale. Disappointed, I went to get 3.0 at Sephora. Brought it home, still too pale, with a "white casting" over my face. What is the deal with this? I am an NW20, this should work for me. Now I'll be trying 4.0 and maybe even 5.0. Wow. I'll be exchanging my 3.0, Hopefully the 4 or 5 will work....

Polishes -Maybelline - Color Show in Metal Icon

I have these in Avante Green, Boho Gold and this one in Metal Icon which appears a sparkly silver in the bottle, but is a definite shimmery taupe on me, no silver about it. A bit disappointing--formula is good, brush is good also--it's just annoying when you end up purchasing a color that looks completely different on the nail. MEH.

If there is anyone else here who has been looking for their HG pink and has finally found it, you'll know how I feel. Love! So perfect I can't believe it. Creamy, pigmented, not bubblegummy or fuschia or pale, just a perfect medium classy ladylike pink. Yay! I'm so happy with this.

For me, this is a great winter fragrance. Warm, with a spicy vanilla muskiness to it. A gorgeous scent, and my fiance loves it!! And it's quite reasonable now, I got mine at Winners for el cheapo--$19.99 CDN! AAAAAND it came with a roll-on and this crazy little container of sparkly gold powder scented with the fragrance. Tricky little bugger to open, but beautiful results. This was the first celebrity scent I purchased, and I was shocked that I liked it so much! It actually smells like a grown up, and I liked that too. Yay Hilary!

Concealers -MAC - select cover-up

I have this in NW20 and it's the best concealer out there. I only use it to cover the occasional pimple and it works really well for that. I don't have dark circles, I actually have the opposite problem--white ones! Weird, I know!!! So I don't need it for that but it covers zits very well. I just had to throw mine out (had it for years) because it was separating in the tube so time for a new one! MAC really does have the best color matching too.

Lip Gloss -Sephora - Black Glitter

OK so there I was in Sephora yesterday, looking at the nice glittery liquid eyeliners and I spot this one. Very fine multicolored glitter in a black eyeliner and I said Whoa! This is definitely for me. So I grabbed it and went to the cashier. When I got home and was looking at my Sephora treasures, don't I notice that it is in fact NOT an eyeliner but it is in fact a LIPGLOSS. Really Sephora?? Right next to all the glitter eyeliners, a BLACK lipgloss??? Who the hell checks these things, because clearly I didn't! On the quasi plus side, I was only charged $3.00 for it, so I guess I won't bother taking it back. Didn't even open it. Still looking for an eyeliner in that description. Egregious. Urg.

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - Forbidden Euphoria

I have the rollerball in this, as I didn't want to commit to approx. $100 CDN for a large bottle, but I might just do that as this is GREAT! A little fruit at the beginning, and drys down to a slightly sweet woody scent. Beautiful for fall!

OMG! This is from her new fall line and I absolutely LOVE it!!! The most gorgeous mid/deep plum I've ever had. Got mine at London Drugs and I'm actually going to get another one as backup--it's that good. For reference I am NW20, lips are naturally pinkish. ( I can't wear anything too pale or I look dead). It has a tiny bit of shimmer to catch the light but not too much. Maybe I'll get two more. I seriously have never raved so much about a lippie, if you like purples/plums you have to try it! Those who are familiar with her line know the quality I'm talking about. It is moisturizing but it also lasts. Love!

Okay, so they should test this stuff on people like me who handle cash for a living. I applied a dark polish yesterday (Sunday) and it has still not chipped! Unbelievable!! Only the first time I've used this top coat and I love it already. Awesome. Highly recommend. Woo-freakin-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!:) Update: It is now Wednesday, and this stuff is STILL not chipping!?! How is that possible??? I have not had a problem with peeling as others have. It's just freakin' great! I can't believe it! I'm wearing a very dark green polish and it still looks great. Works for me!!!

Wearing this color right now! A beautiful deep olive green with gold flecks as another reviewer said, and I am LOVING it! There are a lot of great nail colors this fall, in many different lines. I can't wait to try Chic Reloaded, which I think they could also have called oil slick because it's a shimmery purple/silver/blue/green that reflects all these colors depending on the light. Amazing! Nice to leave the pinks/oranges of the summer behind and get into these beautiful fall colors! Enjoy and have fun!

AH-MAZE-ING. The quality is superb, although my Sephora store only carries a few of the shades. I went with Grenade (and I do think it refers to grenadine, and not an actual avocado-shaped explosive) as I have been burned too many times buying lipsticks that turned out to be way too pale for me. It's a gorgeous mid-raspberry shade with a little shimmer. It's got a small bit of creaminess to it, but is more on the matte side I'd say. Doesn't seem to road trip past your lipline which is a huge bonus, considering that you're paying $50 CDN for this lipstick, so it better be good, right? Packaging is gorgeous, I've never had one so luxurious. Yes, it's a little heavy but so what? You know, I actually hoped it would have a small light in it too LOL!! And really, shouldn't it? I might be willing to buy another, but they are pretty pricey.

You know you have the wrong scent when you go to put a little lotion on your hands and your boss sneaks up behind you and he recoils when you turn to him. Yikes!! Yes, Pink Chiffon is very strong. I did like it at first but holy hannah is it strong. After Mike's reaction I tossed it. Certainly don't want to offend anyone with my choice of scents, Good Lord especially at work! So out it went. Next!

Hell no I wouldn't buy it again!! Horrendous nightmares!! If I had only looked into this before I bought it--when it happened the second time I twigged into what the culprit was. Into the bin it went! And good riddance!!!
