Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets
chynnadoll21 3/18/2012 7:38:00 AM
Before using this, all other blotters were ok. This one sold me on the texture and material. Works great, doesn't tear, doesn't absorb moisture , only oil. No powder residue like some blotters. I use only very occasionally so it's reasonable for me.

Blush -Skinfood - Rose Cheek Chalk
chynnadoll21 3/13/2012 12:57:00 AM
Quite a pleasant surprise :) Very cheap, cute colour payoff, nice creme to powder finish with a slight hint of shimmer. Pleasant fragrance. Cons : Very small tub and iffy to use the sponge applicator it comes with. I tend to use my fingers for creme blush so the tub was a bit hard to get my fingers in. Other than that, fantastic for price. I might go back and get the coral colour. It only comes in 2 shades. A soft baby pink and a coral one.

It was ok but not great. Felt sticky and didn't have lasting power.

Pretty good polish for the price. Easy to apply. 2 coats enough for an even finish. My daughter loves them too :)

BB Cream -BRTC - Gold Caviar BB Cream
chynnadoll21 3/6/2012 9:57:00 PM
I'd watched on Youtube how bentleyblonde loved this out all 4 BRTC bb creams, so although I'd just purchased the Jasmine one the week before, I went on out to get this as well :) Have been using this for the past week. Glad that there were no breakouts and didn't aggravate my forehead condition. Texture-wise, takes more effort to blend then the Jasmine water, slightly thicker and more viscous. Whereas you feel that the Jasmine's hydration comes from the water content, this one felt like its moisturizing from an emollient content. (Not sure if this is true, but that's how I felt) This one matched my NC20-25 skintone much much better than the Jasmine and I really like the high SPF50. However still enjoying this one as I can get away with just this and a slight dusting of powder. Even without powder and concealer, its still good to go. Would prefer a pump. Hate the fingerprint marks I leave behind on the silver cap.

Masks -Unlisted Brand - Hada Labo - Gokujyun Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Mask
chynnadoll21 3/5/2012 4:05:00 AM
Put this one for 15mins, the sheet mask is dripping with essence. Felt refreshing and cool to apply. I used the excess on my hands and legs. I rinsed off the extra essence with cool water because I'd broken out with the toner (after applying too much) so I was afraid this would break me out too. However, happy tht I had no adverse reactions. My skin felt fresh, hydrated, plump(slightly) and overall brighter (slightly). I have this line on my forehead which looks less obvious the next day and I'm seriously wondering if its due to this mask! I've purchased the whitening version . Look forward to trying that one out. Retailed for RM39 for a pack of 4.

Masks -My Beauty Diary - Aloe Sheet Mask
chynnadoll21 3/4/2012 11:38:00 PM
Firstly you can't beat the price. Hydrates and tones but I wouldnt say it's the best of the best. However it's a satisfactory introduction to the MBD masks range as it doesn't break me out or irritate my skin. I left it on for 40 mins and it still felt damp so I slathered the rest on my legs and arms. Tends to drop on my neck in the first 5-10mins but u can't fault them for providing more essence. Will not repurchase only because I find there are other masks which can do more. Easy on the pocket to sample :) will be trying thee other masks soon

Masks -Biotherm - Aquasource Non Stop emergency hydration mask oligo-thermal treatment
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:48:00 AM
This provided moisture and I use this whenever I feel dry. Doesn't brighten/refresh/brighten/plump the skin but my face does feel softer and smoother to the touch after this mask. I'm not religious with masks so I use them very sporadically but this one, yes will repurchase just to have around in case of dry bouts

Treatments -Biotherm - Source Therapie

I loved this!! Bit on the pricey side but it really made my early 20s skin glow, feel dewy, soft. Not a perfector but it did provide visible difference. I loved the bottle so much I cleaned it out once finished and filled it with sunscreen to carry in my bag on the go! :)

Moisturizers -Biotherm - Aquasource Non Stop (combination skin)
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:42:00 AM
Nice light hydrating fresh texture. Glides on smoothly, skin feel sgreat, but not moisturizing enough for dry skin. However I loved the smell and will repurchase if I ever want something light for nights out where I just apply a basic light moisturizer, MU and the full skincare regime just before bed. For now, Laneige water bank essence is also pretty good for that.

Cleansers -Clinique - Facial Soap for Oily Skin
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:29:00 AM
This is my most hated product of my entire Skincare I've tried DS/Dept Store over the years!! I really hate this soap and I couldn't understand how ONE swipe of the bar with your damp hand (as instructed by Clinique SA) could possibly be enough to clean your face!! And even at one swipe, still, it left my skin dry! So very sorry, I'm lowering down this rating. Unless I was poorly instructed, and used the product wrongly, otherwise, I really do not like this

Toners -Clinique - Mild Clarifying Lotion
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:22:00 AM
I liked this toner, nice fragrance felt *kind* to my skin, though I didn't think I had sensitive skin, the purple one was too harsh so I switched to this. Have to say, I quite liked the *softness* of the concoction but it didn't do much to improve my overall skin condition. (their 3 step)

Sunscreen -Clinique - Super City Block SPF 40
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:20:00 AM
My mum & I used this and it was fine. Don't love it but it prob got the job done. Felt it was a bit greasy on my skin, but other than that, did not break me out. Will repurchase if I ever run out of ideas for sunblock. But for now I like to try new things :)

Treatments (Eye) -Clinique - All About Eyes
chynnadoll21 3/2/2012 4:17:00 AM
I quite liked this, and repurchased twice. For my early twenties eye area, it was a good preventive measure. I wouldn't say it was good for problem/eyecircles/wrinkles or anything, but I used this for a few years during uni (late nights/stress/partying) and found it moisturizing and kept my eye area hydrated. I used the clear gel formula for daytime (came in a green tube with a silver cap, couldn't find it here on MUA. But it was really good as well. If I had any puffiness, slather it on for 10-15mins, and it would bring it right down!) Coupled with SPF eye concealer daily for the last 10 years, I would say I'm pretty happy with my eye area for now. I would repurchase if I ever get lost in the world of eye creams, but would like to aim for something more suited for fine lines and wrinkles now (as in hardcore at preventing them!!)
