I used this mask before, it didn't work AT ALL. As a result, I returned it. However my cousin gave me another one as a gift a couple weeks ago. Since my skin was getting worse and worse, I decided to give it another try. This time it works like a miracle! I pair it with my DHC deep cleansing oil and buffering lotion, and they unclog my pores and leave my skin really clean! But I really hate the packaging. I really wish it come in a tube like the Origins clear improvement, which is also my favorite.
Lotions/ Creams -Aveeno - Daily Moisturizing Lotion

My whole family likes this fragrance-free moisturizer. It really moisturizes the skin and it can be used both on face and body.
I have really chapped lip and I like to buy different kinds of lip balms. After I have read many good reviews about it and I just can't wait to get it. I am very glad I did! It's sooooo amazing! I really hate those waxy lip balms which just make my lip drier. This just calms my lip down and prevent it from getting dry. It's much better than Kiehl's #1lip balm and it's dirt cheap which is a plus:)
I don't see my hair getting any shiny or sleek after I have been using it for 5 months. Instead it makes my hair get greasy easily. Hate its smell too
I have been using this for a month and I quite like it. I break out quite seriously recently and I have to change my skin care products to those very natural ones. Fancl is always my #1 choice and I'm so glad that I chose this sunscreen. Yes, it's quite sticky and hard to blend out. It will also leave your face ghost white when your face is really dry and it needs to be clean up with some good quality cleansing oil. But it really protect my skin from getting darker in summer and it neither makes me break out nor irritates my sensitive skin. Anyways, I highly recommend it to those who don't wanna get dark during summer and those who have sensitive skin like me.
I got this drying cream as a sample, so I can't say much about its price. But as a acne treatment that totally did nothing on my acne, I would considered it expensive no matter how much it would cost. Seriously, it is the only acne treatment that did not work AT ALL! I don't like the packaging either since I think I might have brought some bacteria into it every time I dig my finger into the little jar. It would be much better if it comes in a tube.
I have tried a lot of toners, which include those very expensive ones and the dirt cheap ones, and this is definitely one of my favorite. I use it to clean my mineral foundation, and it does clean my skin and leave me a very fresh feeling. My mom uses it to clean the makeup residue, and she loves it, too. The price is very reasonable. I will definitely buy it again and again!
Moisturizers -Sana - NAMERAKA Honpo Soy Milk Lotion

Here's a review for the soy milk cream, not for the lotion. That's a little jar of facial cream, which can be used either at the day time or at night. I think the cream is actually better than the lotion. I have combo-oily skin and the cream does moisturize my skin and give me a matt finish. It's very natural, which is a plus for me(I have many acnes and sometimes my skin is really really sensitive ) . It has never irritated my skin, even when I got wounds on my face! In one word: AMAZING! Edit: Ok, I try the milk too, and it's kindda too light ( I live in LA where the weather is too dry for me. I need something that can really moisturize my skin.) I have combination skin, so I think the milk version will be really good to oilly skin.
I hate to be the only one who post a negative comment here. I actually like this foundation, which is really light but still makes my skin look glowy and flawless! I have combination-oily skin, but I don't even need to use powder to set it. Super long lasting! However, it broke me out very serious. I guess most of the foundation would break me out since my skin is kinda sensitive. The glass bottle is soooo prettt! It's really a pity that I can't use it.
Liquid -Christian Dior - Teint Dior Eclat Satin Foundation
chloechan88 8/21/2009 12:15:00 AM
Actually I had never bought this foundation and I just used my mom's. I guess this is more for dry skin since it works really well on my mom's face but looks like a mask on my face(my mom is dry-skin type and I'm combination-oily). And it is probably the most expensive foundation I have ever used! $45 for 30ml!
Powder -MAC - Mineralize Foundation / Loose - Light Medium
chloechan88 8/20/2009 11:52:00 PM
The foundation was quite nice, but I thought I got the wrong color ( light-medium) and it made me soooooo orange! Give it to my cousin who is a little bit darker than me.
I have used the one for acne-prone skin, the original one and the one with fragrance. I really love all theses bars and the original one is my favorite! I used to spend $20-$30 on my cleansers, since I always believed that cleansers are the key products to keep my skin healthy. When I first used this cleansing bar, I found that I was totally an idiot! I couldn't believe that I had spent $26 on a wash powder while a $3 cleansing could give me the same result! I just got 3 for about $4.50 @ Target this afternoon and I was exited! Definitely keep using it!
This is my cheap alternative for my Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil. It works very well, cleaning all my makeup and blackheads. Will buy it again. Edit: I have changed my mind. I think as a makeup cleansing oil DHC works better than Fancl. My face breaks out like crazy and has lots of clogged pores. Fancl is too mild to clean it up! I went back to DHC and have been using it for a month. My skin is getting much better now. I'll stick to this cleansing oil forever! Another update 08/08/2010: After using it for 2 months, I have very few pimples now. I love DHC soooooo much!
I love Lancom's product, but not a fan of this one. I got it as a sample from an eyeshadow kit. It is really oily and the smell is terrible. It doesn't break me out. I gave it to my mom and she didn't like it either.
The color is pretty, the packaging is cute and the smell is wonderful! The price is not too bad, compared to other Benefit's products. I bought it 10 months and I still have tons of the product. The only downside to me is it lasts no more than 3 hours on my face. I guess maybe it's because my face is too oily. Will not buy it again since I wanna try something new.
