This is so cute and so worth the price with 6 very pretty eyeshadow shades and a mini pro brush, all in one cute little case. This is my first MAC palette and now I'm hooked. I can get loads of different looks with this and the e/s are very pigmented so they go a long way. The colours are brautiful and they all work together. This is a really lovely palette. BTW, i've noticed that if you line up a Printout eye, lip and face palette in a row, they spell out MAC!
I was so surprised when I realised nobody had done a review for this before. It's a good eyeshadow, considering it's a drug store product. It comes in duos with an applicator in a tiny case. Nice range of colours, trendy and hip and shadows go on easily. Shadows do tend to crease a bit but they are long wearing. This is definitely the best budget eyeshadow I've found so far.
Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Roller Color loose powder eyeshadow

I really liked the texture and colour of this eyeshadow (I got it as a GWP) but the roller ball applicator doesn't give an even amount of shadow so I end up with patchy eyeshadow. The quality of the shadow is not bad though, slight shiny and comes out sheer but the intensity of the colour can easily be built .This would have gotten a better rating if it came in a package with a brush like Bourjois's eyecolour. It's really cheap and I would buy it again, only it's a limited ed product here in Singapore.
This mask comes in two parts, like the name says, T and U for the T-zone and for the cheeks and chin respectively. It's supposed to control oil in the T-zone area and intensively hydrate your cheeks and whatever. It's also supposed to reduce appearance of pores and refine your skin. This is my first sheet mask so for me, it was a little hard to fit it on my face....the U portion fits better than the T portion. This may also be due to the fact that the U mask is drenched in liquid while the T mask isn't. After I took off the masks, there was no obvious reduction in pore size but I think nothing short of microdermabrasion will help with that. Skin looks hydrated and feels good and not overwhelmed with moisture or anything. Didn't put on moisturizer on after that to test its oil controlling properties and I have to say I am very impressed with the results. It was obviously less shinier and oil production will probably decrease with contiunous use of this mask. Highly recommended.
This is my HG purifying mask! It's black in colour(ironically, it's supposed to make you fairer) and a peel off mask. It says it'll tighten pores, remove impurities and give you a fairer, more radiant complexion....I don't know about the pore size but it does refine skin! Try this, do it on one side of your face then compare it with the other side....the difference is astounding...it really makes my skin look so matte....bit messy as it takes 20 mins for it to dry but the results are worth it...bit messy to apply and don't go wondering round the house in it...I gave my mum a shock when she saw my whole face was black! :)
Ok mascara....made my lashes look ultra curly but only for a while...had to recurl them several times...tendency to clump and makes lashes feel really plasticky....not much length and was really hard to remove, even with MAC's pro makeup remover, it even took with it several of my lashes!....have to look elsewhere for my HG mascara I guess
Liquid -Biotherm - Sense Hydra-radiance foundation SPF15

This is a liquid foundation that feels very thick on my face and you should use a foundation brush for the best and smoothest effect...It settles in after awhile so it feels more comfortable but doesn't help to reduce shine at all so I had to touch up several times...cute bottle but tad pricey at SGD$50 for 30 ml...won't get it again cos it makes me break out a little
This is my HG eyeliner....but i have to say this is my first gel eyeliner so I can't compare it...I got this in Grey and it was really easy to apply with my Shu Uemura Eyeliner Brush 2R....goes on really well and is really pigmented...give it a couple of minutes to dry and set with powder eyeliner and it doesn't budge till you remove it...gave my single eyelidded eyes the impression of depth...very good...Price seemed a but expensive but it'll last a long time as only a little dab is needed each time....it's packaging is a bit chunky but easily fits into tiny handbags. Also, smokey eyes can be achieved in seconds! But you have to be careful about using your fingertip to smudge it cos it gets messy easily.
Concealers -MAC - Studio stick concealer [DISCONTINUED]
chanelancomestila 7/27/2004 4:18:00 AM
This is really good and covers my acne scars well. It's long-lasting and doesn't fade...comes in a handy tube and as only a little is needed at a time, will probably last really long...Can't use it as an under eye concealer though as it's a bit hard to blend...reasonable price to pay for a good concealer...SGD$27 for 1.4g....
I bought the cool palette first and it was really good ao i bought this but the colours just do't suit me...the goldish colours are too subtle and the reddish based ones make me look muddyish...pleh! but maybe i'm not a warm kinda person...(fair asian skin with yellowish undertones) the quality of the eyeshadows was fantastic, went on really smoothly and were really pigmented...great value for money though esp. with a pro brush included...it's really nice....just not my colours...sigh... too bad...well, i'm off to return this
Very nice gloss with lots and lots of shine...it's a pale shimmery goldish colour that looks really good with a tan....it matches Stila's 4-pan Bronze Compact for Summer really well....note that the name of the product may be different in other countries....Really affordable and doesn't feel too goopy....buy it!
This made me look too shiny for my liking...instead of making me look radiant, it made my cheeks look oily...pleh! It has a nice smell though...One that works better for me is Christian Dior's Dior Luminizer...gave a more subtle glow...but then again, I have combi skin so maybe this is more suitable for pple with dry and normal skin...
Average product....didn't do anything for me...stang when I put it on and dries really fast...skin looks slightly hydrated and pore size hasn't seem to have decreased so it's pretty much just an ordinary mask...none of Biotherm's skincare products do very much for me.....
Very nice mask that leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, makes my skin look radiant...pretty much fuss-free if you like masks that don't dry...it stings a little when I put it on at first but maybe I'm just sensitive...very affordable and lasts really long....i apply it before putting on my makeup to give my skin that extra glow
Quite a nice product, spreads really easily with a lot of pigment...I got this in baby blue, nice metallic colour, looks a bit like the effect you get from cream eyeshadow...I put this in my makeup pouch and it gets tossed here and there so lots of powder goes into the compartment thingy which makes it reaaly messy to open so you should only poke one of the holes open and just shake out the appropriate amount on.
