At first I hated this foundation, because it looked too orange-y on my skin when I first got it in August, then I used it again in the middle of winter and now it matches my honey-toned skin perfectly (and that is a difficult feat for most foundations). It makes my skin look absolutely flawless! I didn't even need concealer for the darker areas; you can build up the coverage from medium to full. It never dried my skin out; it's a moist foundation, but it is a bit transferrable. I was lucky my aunt gave it to me for a present, 'cuz it's very expensive! I changed my rating from a 5 to a 4 because I wore it on a warmer San Francisco day (rare) and indoors made my skin look greasy (it wasn't too noticeable outside). I will not purchase this again.

I've got this in Plum Suede, a slightly shimmery raisin (not exactly dark enough to be plum) shade. I love how you don't have to sharpen it and I love the color, since it looks natural on my honey skin, and that it doesn't irritate my contact lense-wearing eyes and sensitive skin. Its price at about 6 bucks doesn't break my student budget, either...overall, my favorite eyeliner. (^-^)

Lipstick -Jane - Lip Huggers in Browned Down Red

I really really wanted to like this product. I've seen so many praises on this lipstick in magazines, and it looked great on my dark-Filipina mom. I finally tried it on myself, and it looked TERRIBLE. It didn't flatter my yellow-brown skin, and, as an unflattering shade of bright pink-red, made me look like one of those denial-grannies (terrible!!!). Even with my brown lipliner, it still didn't work. Oh well...Still searching for that perfect red lipstick...

Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip d' Votion Shimmers in Raspberry Crush

I LOVE this product! I'm not usually into light girlie-girl gloss and shimmer (I usually like the bold browns for my honey-toned skin), but this is a beautiful, natural color (with cute little sparkles), isn't too unbearably sticky, and it smells really good (yummie!) and doesn't have a terrible taste. This is better than the previous d'Votion I bought a year ago (blackberry, I think) in the sense that it doesn't require a million clicks coax the product out, and the older d'Votion was sooooo sticky. In terms of price, it's great for the student budget. I'd definitely get this again.

this is a really nice deep brown color, really nice as it fades...not as drying as MAC lipsticks for me...the only thing is that be careful how you move if you have it in your bags, the color stick thing of mine got out of the silver thing it should be attached to, so i had to stick the thing on it twice...and the price is a bit steep...but otherwise it's an ok lipstick in a color that looks like it's flatter many skintones.
