Lips -Cover Girl - Outlast Lipstain
bethy999 11/30/2010 12:55:00 AM
I bought this in Wild Berry Wink color at Ulta and was so excited to try it! I got home and put it on and the color looked amazing. Went on with my business and about 3 hours later I glanced in the mirror and my lips looked nasty! The color was only at the center of my lips, the outside had no color whatsoever. It didn't transfer onto my glass in the three hours it was on. BUT they should make some kind of clear sealant for it, after all it is a "stain" and it didn't stain for every long.

Tools -Gillette - Mach 3 Razor (Men's)
bethy999 10/8/2010 12:46:00 AM
My husband's in the air force so he ALWAYS has to have a clean, shaved face. I usually use cheap disposable razors but one day I ran out so I used his. This razor glides like no other! I haven't got one nick yet from using it and the head usually lasts a couple weeks. I ended up buying my own since I didn't want to dull the blade and then have him use it on his face lol! You'd think they'd engineer womens razors better since we shave a good percentage of our bodies...but whatever. This is definitely a repurchase.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
bethy999 10/8/2010 12:41:00 AM
I bought this mascara on a whim because they didn't have my regular luminous volume in stock. I really liked it for awhile, then it seemed like it started drying up really quick. And the wand is a little weird, it really goops on the end of the wand, like it doesn't evenly coat it. I won't repurchase, I'll just stick to my regular.

Palettes -Unlisted Brand - Profusion 98 Eye Shadow Collection #2
bethy999 10/8/2010 12:27:00 AM
Ok, I bought this palette at Ross for 6 dollars! I figured, well as much makeup I'm getting for this cheap it's worth a try. I got home and opened it and was shocked! There's SO many colors and it comes with 4 applicators as opposed to 2 in the 88 color palette. The colors are highly pigmented and very easy for blending. The ONLY thing I don't like is the smell. It reminds me of a perfume my nanna uses. But hey, for such a steal I don't really care what it smelled like! I will definitely repurchase (if I can find a different color scheme palette) :]

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

I LOVE this mask! It doesn't magically disintegrate my blackheads (what product does?) but it does tighten my pores and keep oil at bay. It's VERY cheap for how much comes in the bottle. I'll definitely repurchase!

I absolutely love this makeup remover! HG!! I bought it at walgreens on a whim because I was sick of using baby wipes (haha) and it totally did it's job. It was pretty cheap and a little bit goes on a long way.

Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Matte Mousse
bethy999 9/25/2010 4:08:00 PM
I really like the coverage the foundation has, if you have dry skin it may not be for you, it looks really splotchy is so, almost scaly. Ew. Anyways, it's decently priced, the style of the jar is an issue though. I usually use my fingers to rub in my foundation, sometimes a makeup sponge, but if you use your fingers to dip in the jar it gets under your fingernails and it's hard to get out since it's not really a liquid. It's not ideal to use a makeup sponge though either because the shape of the jar is difficult and it doesn't stick to the sponge because it's crumbly. I don't think I'll repurchase but I will use up the rest of this jar.

Conditioner -Aussie - Hair Insurance Leave In Conditioner
bethy999 9/25/2010 3:31:00 PM
I bought this hoping for a miracle to save my long, newly bleached hair. I got it at walmart for $2.50 (great price) and it truly does it's job. I also use Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, but with the three products combined my hair is on the road to recovery...and fast. I will definitely repurchase.

Conditioner -Joico - Moisture Recovery
bethy999 9/7/2010 11:56:00 PM
I have literally spent just over $320 the past 3 months on hair products to restore softness after bleaching black hair (that I always bought cheap box brand for) back to my natural sunny blonde color. That's a lot of damage! My hair was so nasty using a wide toothed comb through it was a nightmare. I could hear it snapping off and it felt like wet elastic. Not pretty. My friend told me about Joico products so I went to Ulta to get the hydrating mask, moisture recovery shampoo and conditioner. Even more awesome, they were having a liter sale so I got both 'poo and cond. for under $24. My hair feels like it did when I was a kid! It's silky, glides through my fingers and is so shiny. This is most definitely HG material. It's a MUST.
