Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Shimmer single in Platinum

This looks lighter in the pan than on my skin, and sans primer it doesn't 'stick' but WITH primer, it works well. And it's only $2 at CVS.
Lip Liners -E.L.F. - Long Wear Non-Feathering Lip Liner in 'Bitter'

Dry, crumbly and difficult to apply. Also the cap cracked right away. WnW is much better.
Lip Gloss -E.L.F. - Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Mauve Luxe

This is a pretty, shimmery MLBB glossy lipcolor. Smells nice and the price is right.
Eyes -Ardell - Brow & Lash Growth Accelerator Treatment Gel

I've been using this for about 3 weeks, once a day before bedtime, and already I see fuller and longer lashes. This is a white-ish gel that you apply with a nylon mascara brush, and the brush tends to scratch my eyes. I prefer Loreal's smooth plastic brush on their lash growth serum, but heck, this works too. I picked this up at Rite Aid because it was on sale for only $1.04 and I had rewards to burn so it was essentially free. This has no scent and the formula itself does not sting my eyes or irritate them in any way. Also I notice less residue on my lashes compared to Loreal's serum, but it doesn't work as dramatically as that one. Still, this is a good product, especially even at full price it's less than have the cost.
I tried this because of the awesome CVS sale this week: $6 off ANY PF product, PLUS the red scanner box gave me a $3 coupon, so I got this for 29 cents plus tax. There were only two shades available: Fair Light and Medium Light, and ML was the darker shade so I got it. Too bad it's about five shades too light for my NC42 skin. It does offer good coverage but it's just about useless since it's so light. Maybe I can use it as an eyeshadow primer, but it's a bit thick for that. Good thing I paid less than a buck. How about a Med/Deep shade PF????
Fragrances -Giorgio Armani - Acqua Di Gio Essenza for men

This is yet another version of Davidoff Cool Water, only it's very subtle. I love that clean, refreshing, beachy scent, but there is nothing unique about this, and it costs twice as much. Just use half as much of Cool Water and you'll get basically the same scent for much less.
This is almost a MLBB on me, but it's a bit sheer and shiny. Since it's called "Ultra Last," I expected more pigment/full coverage. I'm not disappointed though. It's a good neutral berry that has no scent, and I think just about anybody could wear it. The packaging is cheap and the tube doesn't wind down all the way, so don't it with the cap off. But hey, what do you expect from a $2 lipstick. I picked this up at CVS as a filler, that is, I needed something cheap to burn some ECBs with. This week all NYC is BOGO 50% off, plus I had coupons, so I got 2 for 49 cents each.
Lotions/ Creams -St. Ives - Oatmeal and Shea butter

Smells good, moisturizes without feeling greasy, absorbs quickly, and is pretty dang cheap. What else can you ask for? Oh, a pump? Yeah, it has that too.
Gels/Soaps -Yardley - Mango & Lily Bath & Shower Gel
ayngemac 5/6/2013 6:19:00 PM
I picked this up at Wags because it smelled so incredible. I love the scent of mangoes. This lathers well and doesn't dry out my skin. I wish they made a body spray so I could walk around smelling like this all day long. I've only seen it at Wags, and it was only $2 so I'm kind of afraid it's being discontinued. Hope not. Love it.
Scrubs -Neutrogena - Oil-Free Acne Wash Redness Soothing Gentle Scrub
ayngemac 5/6/2013 6:16:00 PM
This is not working for me. I have oily skin and it doesn't feel clean after I use this. Not impressed with its exfoliating qualities, either. The original Neutrogena formula works much better IMO.
Misc Beauty Tools -Gillette - Schick Slim Twin Sensitive Razors
ayngemac 5/6/2013 3:06:00 PM
It's hard to go back to these when I've got my Hydro 5, but these do the job. It's easy to cut myself with these though, if I'm in a hurry or careless. The trick to making your razors last is to keep them dry. After you use them, rinse them off, shake, then blow off the water & store them OUTSIDE your shower. They can last over a year if you keep them dry. Also, I've found that hair conditioner works better than shaving cream.
It's not horrible, but it's too spicy and smells like an old lady trying to be edgy. The bright side is it fades fast.
The makeup artist recommended this as a neutral for me, and I bought it without actually trying it on. I didn't want to get the used tester on my kisser. UGH. This looks awful on me. I'm an NC42/44 and it just looks muddy and gross on my complexion. I can't bring myself to toss it because it's barely used and still smells like vanilla. Maybe I'll melt it down and mix it with something else.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Soft on the Eyes Sheer Loose Shadow
ayngemac 5/6/2013 2:03:00 PM
If you can find this at the dollar store, it's a great deal. The shadows themselves are great; they provide a nice wash of color that actually shows up. However, the packaging sucks. It's just a waste to use so much plastic for such a small amount of product, and the thin brush doesn't work well; it's better suited for lips. My eyeshadow brush doesn't fit in the tiny holes. But hey, four pretty shadows for $1? Come to mama.
Since matte lipsticks are pretty rare, I've often used lipliners as lipstick: swipe on some Chapstick or Vaseline or whatever balm you happen to have (but not too much), then add lipliner for a matte look. This is a nice neutralish berry that will work on anybody. Good pigmentation, and it's only 99 cents.
