This product smooths my hair in a way that no other does, and makes it smell so pretty! I've received many compliments on both the scent and shine of my hair since I started to use it. I will definitely buy the bigger bottle, and cannot wait to try the mask.
I bought this to use as a concealer, and this tube lasts, lasts, and lasts. Even as a foundation, just a little goes a very long way. It really does what it promises -- it covers up anything and everything. This is now my HG concealer!
Treatments -L'Oreal - Dermo-Expertise ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion
auburnlady 3/30/2008 12:35:00 PM
After trying many different micro-dermabrasion products (including Philosophy and Kiehls) this is my favorite and I will continue to repurchase. You can control the level of exfoliation by adding more or less water, and if you follow the directions, it really does slough off dead skin very well. I find that even the skin on my fingertips is smoother from applying it! Since I use this 2-3 times per week now, I have been going through it quickly and now use L'Oreal Men's Expert Power Buff Anti-Roughness Exfoliator, which is the EXACT same formula as this. I never used the Step 2 lotion from the kit, and was actually just using that basic moisturizer for elbows and heels as opposed to tossing. So now, I only buy the Power Buff. It is available on drugstore.com, and I am buying it through there now as I have a hard time finding it in stores lately.
Wow, do I regret buying this! I had my makeup done at Sephora, and the artist used only Fresh products. I was not happy with anything but the eye makeup, so I bought a shadow and a liner in black, figuring I couldn't go wrong since it looked fine, and I needed a new liner anyway. WRONG! It is the worst liner I have ever used. After about 10 minutes of leaving the store, it was already beginning to run. I thought perhaps it was because I had been running around and was wearing many layers, but no, it runs no matter what my body temperature. Will NEVER repurchase this.
I had my makeup done at Sephora and the artist used only Fresh products. I was not impressed with anything except for the eye makeup, the shadows in particular. I purchased the regular shadow in the silver package in the "It's a Girl" shade, which is a pinkish/silvery pale color, extremely smooth and blendable, which is perfect for my lids on a daily basis, or to highlight along the brow bone with darker colors. I have used it so much, and am happy enough with it that I will repurchase when I run out. I will admit, I would repurchase more for the color than for any other reason.
Blush -BeneFit Cosmetics - Georgia ] ] [DISCONTINUED]

I loved Benefit's Dandelion, so I thought I would love this too, but it's not a blush - it's a highlighter/brightener. Using it that way, it is OK, but not spectacular. I do love the peach pie smell of it, though! And, I find it does give *a* glow of some sort, just not the glow I can get with other highlighters I have tried.
This is a great blush, and also can be used for highlighting. Unlike with my Nars Orgasm, which I only use on the cheeks, this is buildable enough to use elsewhere. Great on my pale skin, and I don't find it to be shimmery or glittery. The one complaint I have is that the cardboard packaging does tend to show its wear after awhile, but maybe that is because the product lasts so long. I don't use this daily, but love it and consider it to be an "old faithful" in my makeup bag. I think it is better applied with a professional brush, but the brush that comes with it also works well in my experience.
This product has worked out great for me, and is perfect- not too overpowering for my fair complexion. I can wear it during any season, and it is the blush I reach for the most - a tried and true standard. What I find amazing is how long it has lasted - I use it nearly every day. Great product for my skin coloring. Also, seems to wear very well without fading in my experience (combination skin).
I really am not a fan of this product at all. Like other reviewers here, I found that it absorbs so fast, that it is extremely hard to blend, even when I am prepared with a sponge. The only way I could get it to look remotely natural was to apply it heavily, then cover with foundation and powder. Otherwise, the effect was either streaky marks or barely noticeable. Definitely not worth the hype.
Loose Powders -Milani - Milani Loose Translucent Powder

I love this powder - perfect size for travel! Since it is so inexpensive, it is great to take on trips as it is not a tremendous loss if you break/lose/leave it behind. I currently use MAC powder, but more and more, I find myself reaching for this powder - great color for my fair skin.
This is my HG retractable pencil liner, after trying many expensive brands and finding that most of them left me with a dot on the side of my eye after a couple of hours. Even very high-end brands did this. I love this, it lasts for me from morning until dusk, and I have one in every color I can wear. Love it!
Skincare - Face -DDF - Glycolic Daily Cleansing Pads 10 percent
auburnlady 3/25/2008 4:46:00 PM
I liked these as well, and bought them in the 5% formulation. I have bought the generic ones as well, but I notice that those dry up faster since the packaging is not as air-tight. May graduate to 10%. Note, if you have never used glycolic daily cleansing pads, you should start at lower percentages and work your way up to 10%. If you start at 10%, it may be too much too soon. This is according to Dr. Denese's book, anyhow!
This product did not bother my sensitive skin and always delivered for me. It is the first face cream that I've actually used all the way to the end of the jar, because it did not cause any breakouts or problems. When I had my driest bouts after being on the ski slopes, the skin was smooth by morning. The smell is not bad, just reminds me of an "old lady" face cream smell, but you get used to it.
Mascara -Yves Saint Laurent - Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils
auburnlady 3/25/2008 1:03:00 PM
This product did an OK job of lengthening, but after just a couple of weeks, it clogs and is very hard to use. The formula is very prone to smudges, I've found, which is awful for me since I usually do mascara last, so I need a formula not so prone to smudges. I was expecting more since it was so expensive.
I really didn't like this product at all - the puff makes the product cake, making it difficult to apply evenly and giving it an orangey tone. Will not repurchase.
