I prefer Prrr. Something about this color just doesn't suit my NC20 Asian complexion. It makes me look pasty, so sadly I'll be returning this one.
This is a delicious body wash that is gentle enough to use as a shampoo. It smells like Honey-Jasmine tea, one of my favorite teas. I love using this a night time when I wash my hair because I go to bed with a calming scent aura of jasmine and honey lulling me to sleep. I don’t know exactly what ylang-ylang smells like so I can’t pick it out in this body wash, but I do drink Chinese Jasmine tea all the time and this smells just like it. It isn’t something that I would describe as a seductive lascivious fragrance (which is what the label on the bottle says), but it is calming and pretty.
I learned the hard way that it doesn’t matter what nail polish you have on your nails, if you have a cheap base coat the entire manicure will chip or PEEL off your nails in a few days.Chanel’s Protective Base Coat is by far the best base coat that I have ever used. With it on my nails first, my manicure can go at least six days without chipping, especially when paired with Chanel's top coat. I will never use another drug store nail polish base! The fact that this product is formaldehyde-, toluene- and DBP-free is a plus also!
Lip Gloss -Christian Dior - Addict Lip Gloss - A Treat of Lollipops - 271

This is a new color that came out with the “A Pink Attitude” collection. This color is a cool mauve-y pink that would look best on cooler complexions. I didn’t find this lipgloss to be anything special. The texture is quite thin so it doesn’t have very good lasting power. It is very shiny, decently pigmented, but has a strong “lipstick” fragrance that I wasn’t too fond of. I prefer NARS lipgloss and MAC lipglass over this formula.
Urbay Decay’s liquid liners are fantastic. The brush applicator is extremely fine without being flimsy. The control on this brush is great. This color is an icy light blue with a hint of purple in different light. It takes a few coats to get layer the color but this is a really unique color.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

This is a refreshing cleanser that is effective and gentle. It has a bright citrus-lemon scent and it removes all traces of foundation, eyeshadow and non-waterproof mascara. It is a luxurious cleanser without being creamy or heavy. The scent took a while for me to get used to, but I am quite fond of this cleanser. It does what it promises – it removes all dirt, oil and impurites but it is not a "treatment" cleanser for acne or any kind of skin condition. . I alternate it with Fresh’s Soy Makeup Remover and Cleanser but I would certainly repurchase.
I adored the Viva Glam V lipglass before and I bought the VGV lipstick recently on a whim because the new metallic red packaging is so cute. The color is a perfect match to the lipglass, but in a lipstick form. Since it is a Lustre lipstick formula it goes on quite sheer and is nice and moisturing. The lipstick almost needs to have the lipglass layered on top to get enough color because the lipstick is SO sheer. It is a beautiful YLBB brown-toned pink with a bit of pearly shimmer. Very pretty and a permanent staple.
For all the raves that this mascara gets I was not impressed. It is a nice formula in terms of it’s lengthening and volumizing ability, but I found that it would flake after a couple of hours and by the end of the day I had a dark ring under my eyes. This mascara is alright if you are wearing it for no more than 4 hours (like to a dinner), but it doesn’t stand up to a full day’s wear. I wasn’t wearing any cream concealer or oil-based eye creams so I don’t know why the mascara behaved that way – it was no better than a drugstore formulation. It has a very strong rose-scent that I found a bit irritating. I did like the big plush brush – it made application easy. Overall this mascara didn’t win me over and I won’t repurchase. My HG is still Kiss Me mascara in Black.
This is a beautiful color that was released with the Madame B. collection. It is a sheer color that looks slightly gold in the tube, but is a gorgeous iridescent pink-gold when applied on the lips. It adds a subtle kick to any lipstick. I love the brush applicator that the Lustreglasses have, and this is slightly less sticky and less shiny than the Lipglasses.
As all the reviewers below have stated, this is a GORGEOUS color and stands out from the Madame B collection as the most unique, must-have color. It is a steely-grey pearl color with a hint of purple and taupe. It is a frost finish so it applies beautifully and is easy to blend. This looks stunning in the crease with Pollen as an all over wash and Pink Papillon on the lid. This is a very versatile color - it could be worn with browns, pinks, purples, neutrals, blues and even greens and look great! Get it while you can!!
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eyeliner Gel Macroviolet
archangeli 2/22/2005 2:39:00 AM
Like DanielleWilliams said, this color is the same as Bobbi Brown's Violet. I took a swatch of each on my hand and compared them and there is no difference in color or shimmer. That said, since MAC's is cheaper I'll repurchase this one when my BB is done.
Edit: November 4, 2008: Still barely made a dent in this eyeliner (the BB one, which is the same at Macroviolet) and I find that the Fluidlines give me raccoon eyes after about 8 hours. Pretty colour but won't repurchase.
I tried this out and the store and was instantly in love! This cream is a lightweight lotion that absorbs beautifullly into the skin, isnt' greasy and leaves your skin feeling smooth, soft and silky. It has a light almond scent, not overpowering at all (which is amazing considering many LUSH products give me a headache from their strong scents!). This cream is wonderful - I've taken to using it as a body moisturizer instead of my Body Shop Body Butter because the consistency is so much nicer!
This is a LE eyeshadow that came out with the Madame B. collection. This is a shimmery pink that is like nothing in the current MAC lineup. It is a frost formula so the application is smooth and it blends easily.
Color: Pink Papillon is probably somewhere in between Petalescent and Swish. It is a "purple-based" cool toned pink with the barest hint of gold shimmer. This pairs beautifully with Pollen (also from Madame B.)
I don't know what the other reviews are talking about - this color looks NOTHING like Look See. Look See is a pale, pale pink (like Yogurt). It doesn't look a thing like Expensive Pink either...
Eye Shadow -MAC - Pollen (frost) - Madame B. collection
archangeli 2/18/2005 12:32:00 AM
Pollen is a LE eyeshadow from the Madame B. collection. The MAC website describes it as "Metallic faintly yellowed white". This is a Frost finish eyeshadow so it goes on very smoothly and blends wonderfully.
This colors is very similar to Nylon, but Pollen is more gold and has more shimmer than Nylon. I've been looking for something with a touch more gold than Nylon has, and this color is perfect.
Eyeliner -MAC - Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel - Sweet Sage
archangeli 2/7/2005 11:04:00 PM
These are MAC's answer to Bobbi Brown's famous gel eyeliners. Considering that both MAC and BB are owned by Estee Lauder, I didn't expect much differenct in these products.
The packaging similarity is uncanny. Both the Fluidline and BB gel liners come in 3g glass jars, with the BB jar having a frosted finish and the MAC one is clear. They are the same jar, with a different black lid.
Both of the BB and MAC gel eyeliners are made in Belgium, likely in the same factory -_-"
The color of Sweet Sage is gorgeous. Unlike Bobbi Brown's which is a flat olive-green, Sweet Sage is an gorgeous olive color with a gold sheen to it. It is similar to Forever Green Powepoint pencil, but less bronze. This is a beautiful color, but if you already own Forever Green I wouldn't suggest you guy this because the colors are too similar - in some lighting they look identical.
This product was completely smudgeproof on my hand after it dried. I can't wait to give it a test run tomorrow!
