Lip Gloss -Rimmel - Vinyl Lip
rated 4 of 5

Found a due for nars turkish delight!!! On my lips anyway...I have natural pigmentation - slight rose pink so when I tried Turkish delight I was devastated - it looked like a clear gloss that made my lips ever so slightly (and i mean slightly) lighter in the most natural way possible. I refuse to pay that much for such a mediocre product. RIMMEL VINYL LIP DEMURE is the EXACT same as Turkish delight..on my lips anyway. I guess the only criticism is that when i applied Demure it was a touch more pigmented than turkish delight so I applied a lighter amount and couldn't tell the difference. I can just spending so little for such a great dupe...WELL DONE RIMMEL...WOOOT WOOOOOT

Lip Gloss -NARS - Turkish Delight

I didn't purchase it but tried it on from my friends tube (gross I know but shes like a sister). I am so happy I didn't spend the money for this lipgloss. This gloss would look great on someone who naturally has a nude looking lip. My lips have a pink pigmentation so this gloss looks clear on my lips - it lightens them EVER SO SLIGHTLY - nothing that Rimmel DEMURE vinyl gloss cant achieve. When i put Demure and turkish delight on - ON MY LIPS it shows up exactly the same. Note that demure is more pigmented so I apply a little less than I would Turkish delight. This gloss would look good over MAC ANGEL or something of that nature, but I definitely won't be going out of my way when I can find cheaper alternatives. It is an easily replicated sheer milky pink colour that your lips suck up in minutes..the color fades quickly and I guess because it is so moisturizing you will need to apply every20 min or so..at least. Thank god I tried it, I would never buy it. You do really need naturally nude lips NO pigmentation otherwise you may as well get demure - same thing. Still wouldn't reco.

Blush -MAC - Blushcreme - Posey
rated 5 of 5

I love this blush! I have light-medium skin tone, brunette dark eyes - and this is a beautiful blush weather I am tanned from the Australian sun or in winter with my light medium skin tone. It is a full on cream blush - I have had mine for 6 months and have BARELY scrapped the top. It is HIGHLY and I repeat HIGHLY pigmented so be sure to work quick and blend it out properly!!! Pretty as a lip colour under gloss as well! Beautiful rosy pink and at times looks corally pink too! . I love it - replaces my stila convertible colour in petunia because it is cheaper and I know this will last me easy 2 years. PS I don't own ANY OTHER BLUSHERS so this is my every day every night colour because it is nearly the exact colour that I flush with so it looks super natural on me. :)

Mascara -MAC - Zoom lash
rated 4 of 5

APPLICATION: This is not a wet formlua, but a lot more product comes out on the brush compared to other mascaras, and its the only reason why you can get dramatic lashes. If you are great with using mascara and brushing through your lashes, with it's quite good. otherwise consider something like Covergirl lash blast. I have natural long lashes, and I always use two mascaras. I use this for lenghtening and the drama, and covergirl lash blast to brush through the mascara and make my eyelashes thicker. If you don't want dramatic lashes, DO NOT buy this mascara, definately not subtle. Doesn't flake wears well and long into the night. Comes off easy wtih cleanser.

Makeup Brushes -Paula's Choice - Crease Defining Brush
rated 5 of 5
anamatovska 10/20/2009 7:59:00 PM

This brush is hard to learn how to use if it is your first time crease brushes - (my sister had issues..hahaha). It took her 2 or 3 times, but now she LOVES IT as much as I do. It is the easiest crease brush I have ever worked with - please do not confuse this with a precision brush where you can get an extremely dark defined line for your crease. This does place colour effortlessly on your crease, but its not thin its a decent size brush with dense bristles and it covers just above and just under your defined crease to apply your coat of shadow. You wont need to dip in twice unless you want an overly dark result. This would be your last step in your eye design process, or the second last - last being the precision brush to apply another darker coat on top for a more dramatic effect. Definitely would recommend, best quality brush I have found for the price.

Makeup Brushes -Paula's Choice - Small Eyeshadow Brush
rated 5 of 5
anamatovska 10/20/2009 7:53:00 PM

This is the best affordable brush I have ever come across. The small shadow brush isn't much smaller than the large. The density and softness is spot on for applying shadows. The difference between the small and large, is that the small allows you to use the flat side to apply on the lid and brow bone, but if you use the tip (or the edge) of the brush you can use it for definition - you wouldn't be able to do this with the large brush. I also use it for blending, because I hate to have a billion different brushes. Great product, definitely going to buy again (ps I am not a crazy fanatic of Paula's choice, so this view isn't bias so to speak. I have tried and tested hundreds of products hence the good review).

Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Duo in Mochaberry
rated 4 of 5
anamatovska 10/20/2009 7:49:00 PM

I wear these two shades for work (with a concealer base to adhere to the shadow) and I applied it at 8am and it lasted without creasing and very slight fading till 8pm. This shadow is easy to build, applies well and the colours work well together. I am a neutral - cool skin tone and I love this duo. rs. I don't believe that you should stick to your skin tone colour, unless your looking at nailpoishes, concealer and foundation. I would wear whatever makes my eyes or face pop and that means that a lot of warm and cool colours don't suit me. Whilst you could get the equivalent colours in NYX or MAC, if you love clinique and refuse to shop elsewhere you wont be disappointed.. Don't expect the pink to be a massive shot of pink, its a light warm pink, and a chocolate brown (it is not as dark as it looks you need to apply a lot more and with a precision shadow brush to get the smoky crease and liner).

Polishes -Sally Hansen - French Manicure White Tip Pen Fine Tip
rated 1 of 5
anamatovska 9/20/2009 4:32:00 AM

This pen is not recommended. When applied it looks like white out. If your nails are short you will not be able to use this as the pen tip is wide and requires long nails. It doesn't wear long even with OPI base and top coat. Its temperamental sometimes it gives the precise amount of fluid, other times its too much or too little, so when you apply pressure to the tip to release more fluid it floods out like white out too. I'd rather use white out.
