Treatments -Bumble & Bumble - Bumble and Bumble Creme de Coco Masque

I have just tried this for the first time yesterday. My hair is very dry and curly and using a good treatment is essential. First of all the smell is amazing, however the price for the size of the tube is not so good. I didn't want to use too much as it is quite expensive, but a little amount does go along way. I left on my hair for a little over 5 mins as I was in a hurry and my hair was left pretty soft afterwards. I would buy again if only I were to find it on sale.

I am on my 2nd tub of this and think the new thickened formula is great. It is a little harder to get out of the tub than the previous formula, but it really does work well on my dry, frizz prone and coloured hair. The price is great for those on a budget and I will definitely keep repurchasing. Smells great too!
Toners -Garnier - Sensitive Soothing Senseation Toner
acarthur 8/21/2009 12:56:00 AM
I have been using this for about a week now with the Detox Cleanser and so far have had good results and no bad reactions. The fragrance is very faint so ideal for sensative skins like mine. I would definitely repurchase again and it makes a good replacement for the Fresh Toner I used to use and love which is now discontinued.
Cleansers -Garnier - Clean Detox Anti-Dullness Foaming Gel

I have been using this for about a week and find it to be quite a good product so far and a nice replacement for the 'Fresh' series that Garnier seem to have unfortunately discontinued. It has a nice foaming action, a pleasant non overpowering fragrance and I love the no mess pump pack. I agree with the other reviewers here though who say it doesn't really seem to actually detox the skin (nor does it help with my oily t-zone) but I have so far no experienced any breakouts etc on my sensative skin. I would definitely repurchase.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Shea Butter cream

I really like this lotion. It works really well on my dry skin, especially now it is winter and my skin is badly in need of moisture at the moment. The matching soap is nice too and both smell great. Pity it is in the higher price range so I couldn't use it all the time. The pump pack is great too and makes it easy to use.
Conditioner -Biosilk - Silk Therapy Smoothing Conditioner
acarthur 8/12/2009 9:29:00 PM
I have used this product for a few days now after ordering online from overseas (Biosilk is not available in Australia) as I have heard good things about it for dry, frizz prone hair which I have. I found the shampoo of this to make my hair feel dry in the shower and using this conditioner afterwards didn't seem to help, especially with the tangles I had to comb through. I will try for a few more times, but I don't think I will be repurchasing.
I have used this product for a few days now after ordering online from overseas (Biosilk is not available in Australia) as I have heard good things about it. So far I have found my already dry and frizz prone hair to be still quite dry after use and it was a nightmare with trying to comb and detangle my hair after use. I will try for a few more times, but I don't think I will be repurchasing.
I have used this masque twice now and find it to be a pretty decent product within an affordable price range . Still, it is not a patch on the L'Oreal salon range, but I would buy this again as my dry and coloured hair did feel softer afterwards. The smell is really nice too.
Treatments -Frederic Fekkai - Apple Cider Clearing Rinse

This product is really great. I use it every few weeks to get rid of product build up. I have dry hair, but I find it doesn't make my hair go like straw like I half expected. The smell is divine and my hair is left really shiny afterwards. I use in between shampooing and conditioning.
Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Japanese Cherry Blossom Body Butter
acarthur 4/4/2009 10:33:00 PM
I tried a sample of this in one of The Body Shop stores last week and couldn't stop smelling my arm all day. I ended up buying some a few days ago mainly due to the fact that I have really dry skin at the moment (as well as loving the smell). I do find their Body Butters great, though too expensive so don't buy very often. My skin has gone really smooth and soft in just a matter of days and the smell is subtle and not overpowering. For some reason though this particular Body Butter is more expensive than the rest of the range so it is not something I would buy on a regular basis.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Pure Seduction EDT

Lovely light scent which does smell like strawberries. I have to admit I probably wouldn't wear this on a big night out, but more as a daytime fragrance (ie: at work etc). Would buy again definitely.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Inner Grace Shampoo Bath and Shower Gel
acarthur 10/27/2008 7:48:00 PM
I have just started using this product the last week and I have to say it is my new favourite. I love the scent! It is light and not too overpowering, but beautiful at the same time. It lathers up quite well and leaves my skin feeling very soft afterwards. I suffer from dry skin and it is hard to find a product that I can use and don't feel the need to slather a load of body lotion on after a shower. The only downside is the price. I will buy again, but obviously not for regular every day use.
Pretty good mask for the price. It has a lovely scent which is not too overpowering (smells like vitaminC). I apply for 10 - 15 mins before going to bed then wipe the excess off and leave on overnight. Helps with flakey skin such as in winter.
Styling Products -KMS California - Flat Out Straightening Creme
acarthur 10/21/2008 12:36:00 AM
I think this is a pretty good product, though I have used better. I would repurchase again if I were to get it on sale like I did this time around. It does not do much on hair that you leave to air dry, but it works great when straightening. The fragrance is not too heavy either unlike the rest of the products in this KMS Flat Out line.
Styling Products -KMS California - Flat Out Anti-Humidity Seal
acarthur 10/21/2008 12:29:00 AM
This is a pretty good product. Not overly keen on the smell of it, but it does work. My advice is to make sure you have straightened your hair first then apply afterwards. This does not work on curly hair or when using before you start styling. It also adds a nice shine to your hair, but if you use too much it makes your hair feels as if it needs washing again.
