Fragrances -Donna Karan - Cashmere Mist

I love this frangrance!!!My baby has eczema and is very sensitive to frangrance. I actually stopped wearing any around him and gave all my bottles to my mom. Well, his baby sitter would wear it around him and he did not seem to be bothered by it. So, I tested hers and sure enough, it is light enough not to bother him. So, I went out and bought the lotion and the deorderant and now I can smell great without bothering him.

Crème -Lancome - Magique Mousse Foundation
abdollmohammadi 8/5/2006 5:27:00 PM
You really do have to use it with the brush. I wanted to save the $45 and skip buying the brush, so I was applying the foundation with just my fingers, and it took so much and did look dry and strange. So, I went back and bought the brush that goes with it and used it and it looks really natural now. The only problem, is that I am not sure the foundation is better than the Dream Matte Mousse sold at Rite Aid (I can not remember who makes it).

Skincare - Face -Unlisted Brand - Sensaria-Sea Silk Mask

I put this on a few times per week and let it dry for about 15 minutes. My face feels smoother and softer. I am not for sure if it is really doing anything, but I like the smooth feel after I use it. It has algae extract in it, but not sure how that helps my face.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

A little goes a long way. Just one pump of this stuff applied over my t-zone helped my mineral make-up and my liqued make-up go on better and stay on better. I apply it over my sunscreen, blow dry my hair, and then apply the rest of my make up. Good stuff.

Treatments -Neutrogena - Instant Nail Enhancer [DISCONTINUED]
abdollmohammadi 4/20/2006 2:01:00 PM
I should not have paid the $7.00 that I did for this stuff. After I finish the tube, I will paint my nails with water and hopefully get better results. I got the clear, and thought it was really cool stuff, it made my nails really shiny when it was wet and then it dried and I could not tell I had anything at all on my nails. I am not impressed at all, and will finish it up and not buy it again.

Treatments -L'Oreal - Dermo-Expertise ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion
abdollmohammadi 4/20/2006 1:55:00 PM
My drug store had this stuff on sale for only $13.99 so I bought the one for the face and the one for the arms, chest, and hands. I used the one for the face and thought it worked pretty good. I have used many, many different brands in the past and thought they all worked pretty good at removing dead skin and making my pores look smaller. I also tried the one for the arms, chest, and hands. Even though the lable clearly states not to use on the face, I did and thought it did a lot better job, plus it is four ounces versus the two ounces for the face. I do not use the post treatment lotion on my face, but it makes a fine lotion for the hands and body. I have seen other members mention they felt this was not better than a good scrub and does not compare with an in-office treatment. They are right, I share that feeling. I will probably repurchase when it goes on sale again.

Powder -Neutrogena - mineral sheers mineral powder foundation-fair to light
abdollmohammadi 4/20/2006 1:43:00 PM
What the heck, my local drug store had it on sale for $9.99 so I bought the fair to light. I put it on the first day and my skin looked horrible, my pores looked shiny and huge, every dry patch had sparkles. I was ready to return it, but then I gave my face a good microdermabrasion treatment and the next day I put it on and my skin look pretty good. I thought it was a bit hard to get it out of the brush, I almost had to tilt my head back to I could hold the brush straight up to get the powder out. I also had brush hairs on my face that I had to pick up. I do not feel that the coverage is very good, but I do not worry too much anymore about people seeing a pimple or two. I also think that it was a bit too shiny. However, it is cheap, purse friendly, and does not feel like I am wearing anything. Just make sure that you scrub your face good if you have any dry spots.

Shampoo -Alterna - Alterna Age Free Caviar Shampoo
abdollmohammadi 2/19/2006 6:42:00 PM
I found this on a 75% off sale at my local salon. It was a combo pack of a litre of shampoo and a litre of conditioner. I only paid $17.34 for both. I think they were normally over $50.00 EACH. So anyhoo, I used it on my hair and my hair was easier to comb through and felt softer. However, having said that I do not think it is the "end all, be all" of hair products. I really think it is just average and I would never have paid full price for the stuff. I will use it all up and keep updating my reviews. One more comment, I saw other reviews that mentioned something about a "fishy smell". I do not know what the heck they were thinking, but it does not smell like "caviar" or "fish" in any way, shape, or form.

Treatments -L'Oreal - Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture Hair Treatment
abdollmohammadi 1/5/2006 5:43:00 PM
I have been using Kerastase's Masquintense for Thick Hair for years now. It is really expensive. I was at Sally's beauty store and saw the Nature's Therapy Mega Moisture and thought that it looked similar to the tub of Kerastase. I bought it and compared the ingredients of both products....ready for this....both products are made by Loreal, both made in Spain, and BOTH are identical. The ingredients are the SAME. Besides one being a bit more yellow and smelling different, they are clones. I can not believe that I was spending so much money all these years. I have to admit that I like the smell of the Kerastase one better, but I can live with it.

Conditioner -LUSH - Fuel solid conditioner

Eww Yuck!!!! What the heck was I thinking when i bought this? It is too hard to apply it to my hair, and it seems to just add some wax and make my hair dry. I will stick to my more conventional conditioners.

I am currently using this in Beige with the Pale yellow setting powder. I really like it because it seems to go on really well and you can set it with the powder.

Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey
abdollmohammadi 11/3/2005 2:07:00 PM
I use this in the Summer time. I love the slick feel and the color is so pretty!! I have only paid for this once, because it seemed that Clinique was giving this away in almost every GWP at Macys and Nordy's. I think that the color is so great, it would go great on everyone.

Moisturizers -Shiseido - Future Solution Total Revitalizing Cream
abdollmohammadi 11/3/2005 1:39:00 PM
I really wish I was not so easily sucked into the hype of cosmetics and skincare. But I am, and I just had to go out and buy this cream. I mean it costs so much, even more than Creme de la mer!!! It must be the "end-all, be-all" for moisturizers. I picked up the 1.8 ounce jar at Costco for $169.00. I opened the jar and was so suprised not to find a "white creamy" substance. It is a very pale, pale pink and looks more "water" based than "cream" based. The jar is very pretty and there is a neat little spatuala inside the box. I applied about a pea sized amount to my face. It felt really good on my skin, did not feel too stickey or greasy at all. I have used it for every morning and night for four days now. I have put all of my other products on "hold" for now, just until I can decide if this product is really worth it. My eye area feels really smooth and soft, and one of my frown lines by my eyebrow feels softer and plumper. I still have to swallow really hard when I think about how much I spent on this. I am sure I will go through this jar really fast. I will update this in about a week and let everyone know how it is going. My suggestion to you is ask for a sample first. I usually get my samples at Sephora because they give you really great sized samples. The funny thing is, even if you get a small sample...it could be worth as much as $25.00 since this stuff is so expensive. IMPORTANT NOTE: Today is 11/4/05 and I have been using this product for less than two weeks. This morning I waxed my chin and lip (like I have done more than 100 times before without any problems whatsoever)Part of my skin was torn off with the wax. I can not believe this. It seems to be only a few layers and it is weeping fluid. I am not blaming this product, but I have never had this problem in the ten years I have been waxing twice a month. In the back of my mind I am wondering if this product did something to change my skin and while making it softer, it became too soft to use hot wax on. I am going to stop using this product for a few weeks and then wax again. Please be careful if you use this product and hot wax too. UPDATE: 11/8/05: My skin has healed up from the waxing incident. I have started seeing results from the product; my skin is more even toned, no dry spots or patches anywhere, the wrinkles under my eyes are plumper and less visible. I like this product, however, I have decided that it is not worth the price. I will finish this jar and go back to my Bobbi Brown Extra skincare.
