I have repurchased this several times simply because it's got to be one of the best moisturisers I've used.Fragrance free, alcohol free, full of antioxidants and other skin beneficial ingredients. No artificial colours or dyes.Non greasy yet super moisturising .Don't be fooled by the fact it's light , this WILL moisturise.. Packed so ingredients remain stable..I use this as a night cream as it has no spf, but you could use it under sunscreen during the day.My skin feels silky soft when I wash this off in the morning. This cream is a breath of fresh air compared to some products that are full of perfume and alcohol and god knows what other irritants, and these are often from high end companies.I hope this is never discontinued.Love love love it !!
BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Medium/Deep

I wanted to try a bb cream , but really they are just tinted moisturisers. This is a poor one.The sunscreen octinoxate does not protect against uva, so this sunscreen is useless. It must contain avebenzone , titanium dioxide or zinc oxide to be broad spectrum. It's also FULL of alcohol and it's fragranced.I would give this one a miss ladies, it maybe cheap but I would rather pay more and get a decent product which this isn't.
I'm really puzzled at the hype over the Dr Hauschka line .These products are anything but natural.and this concealer is no different. This lists alcohol as a top ingredient and it's HIGHLY fragranced. This is a product I bought to use around eyes! The toner I had was full of alcohol as well.I'm finished with Dr Hauschka, I really expected better.
I bought a small peice of this because even at my age I've still got an oily T-zone.Maybe it's the wrong cleanser for me but you can't get away from the fact that it is full of irritants. What's coal powder supposed to do for skin? This was horrible, left my face feeling dry and irritated .You shouldn't have to rush for the moisturiser after cleansing. That's not a good sign no matter what skin type. In the long run made my T-zone worse.Sandlewood and rosewood oils wont help eitherJust because your skin is oily and I was plagued with oily skin as a youngster, dosen't mean you have to strip it with products like thisYou will do more harm than good in the long run..According to Paula Begoun you'd be as well washing your face in the fireplace(ok a bit dramatic)But what she's trying to say is this stuff is RUBBISH.I don't agree with all her reviews but I'm with her on this one.
Concealers -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat No 2

I strayed from this for a couple of years because as people have rightly pointed out this is a highlighter not a concealer.I've used loads of concealers to try and hide dark circles from high end to drugstore when I had the answer all the time.I beleived because this was a highlighter it couldn't do the job and there was something better out there. Well there isn't , not for me anyway. It's ok when you're young , a concealer will hide darkness , but when the fine lines and wrinkles set in it's a whole new ball game.I was fed up of concealers making my under eyes look wrinkly, they looked better without concealer but what about the darkness?I decided to try this again in no2, years ago I used 1 but 2 is better for me. I apply this over foundation, powder , then apply little more on top of powder. The darkness is gone and no cakiness or wrinkles(as well as can be expected at my age anyway).Yes this is a highlighter but it reflects light away from the darkness that's why it CAN work on dark circles. If you're still seeing darkness try a LITTLE bit of concealer on top.The consistency of this just does not settle into lines. For more mature ladies like myself give this a try , I'm so glad I went back to it.
I'm 56 and usually dye my hair every 2 months. But for some reason I've never got round to it lately and it was getting BAD.This dye really had it's work cut out. The top of my head was pure white I'm ashamed to say.Used it last night in deep brown black 3n which is about my natural colour. I have used this dye before but never when my hair was so grey.Well, can't beleive it, not a grey hair in sight. Colour turned out as expected Mimimum fuss and mess. Dosen't have a bad smell and superb after colour conditioner..Also lovely soft and shiny. My hair is about three inches past my shoulders. I refuse to cut it just because I'm on the wrong side of 50.I feel about 10 years younger. Will I buy this again . Yes, yes and yes. Love it!!
If you're looking for a lovely red lipstick look no further. This is semi matte, not drying, glides on beautifully ,makes lips look fuller, good staying power. I'm more of a pink girl really, but when I want to feel glamorous like on a night out this is the lippy I reach for. It's not an in your face red, just a nice bright colour that would suit most people.I've gotten through several tubes of this over the years, and don't bother with other red's now this is it.
I seem to be one of the few that's disappointed in this. I wanted a dark brown matte eyeshadow and this is what expresso is.But it dosen't blend well at all and it's not creaseproof. If you try to build it, it can look patchy.I'm using this as a crease shadow and on my brows but that's not what I purchased it for.I thought maybe I had a bad shadow but I have this in wedge and it's the same.Maybe some of the other textured shadows by mac are better but I'm not buying any more of the matte ones. There's better at the drug store. Some of my Mac purchases have been good, but I can't say this is one of them.
I got this as a GWP. It's ok, but I wouldn't purchase it.It's glossy(the gloss wears away quickly)feels very lightweight on which is nice , and has gold glitter through it. Personally I don't like the glitter. it's just not me. The colour is a pale raspberry pink. For those of you who don't like perfumed or lipsticks that you can taste this is your lipstick . It's really like you have nothing on your lips, you can't feel or taste anything, but it will moisturise.I won't be buying this, the glitter would annoy me, but I can see why some people will love it.
This contains more fragrance than proven antiaging ingredients and the price is ludicrous.I don't mind paying for quality .... but this isn't. It's just a basic overpriced over fragranced moisturiser packed unhygienically in a jar.Jar pakaging also means antioxidants in this will not remain stable during use, which is a shame because it does contain antioxidants. I'm going back to my cerave moisturiser at a FRACTION of the price, which is more beneficial to skin than this nonsense. This is another classic example of how expensive isn't always best. I used to think if I paid a lot for a product it HAD to be good. How wrong was I. There's so much better at the drug store.
Treatments -Estee Lauder - Advanced Night Repair (Serum)

Really this is just not worth the money.I've used this on and off for years, very much off these days. The reason being I've discovered better at so much cheaper. At an Estee Lauder counter recently I asked the lady if this could be used around eyes. No she said the "company" has special eye products for eyes. This is a nonsense, any well formulated serum or moisturiser can be used around eyes. I did use the eye version of this years ago and it's useless.Paula's choice do some excellent serums and the olay regenerist fragrance free version is excellent. I wouldn't go back to this.
Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - AM SPF 30
Walko 1/30/2013 8:36:00 AM
I'm dissapointed in this in as much as due to the chemical sunscreen in this I can't use it around eyes. However if your having the same problem as me, do as I do, use this on your face and a physical sunscreen around eyes. This is a super moisturiser with a high spf containing a lot of beneficial ingredients packed so the ingredients remain stable during use. It's not in the slightest bit greasy on my combination skin but I can't see this working if your skin is dry. I just wish I could apply this around eyes but it's the same for me with any avebenzone sunscreen. One negative here is it dosen't contain antioxidants but I overcome this by using an antioxidant serum underneath.Overall, good product at a reasonable price.
This is a fantastic moisturiser. It has spf( Mineral sunscreen)which is a godsend for me as I can't tolerate chemical sunscreen around eyes.If you're having problems with stinging or runny eyes with a sunscreen check the ingredients as titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are far gentler around eyes.i.e this product. That aside this is super. It offers broad spectrum sun protection , contains antioxidants and vitamins. It's also alcohol and fragrance free, and contains no artificial colourings or dyesWhy use just a plain moisturiser when you can reap these benefits?.Also packed so ingredients remain stable. I wouldn't dream of buying a product in a jar, no matter what it claimed to do.I don't find this greasy at all. My skin is combination and I find this ideal.Moisturisers with spf are easy to find, but one like this isn't.I've used this for about 4 years now and have no plans to change. On the downside it only has spf 15. If I'm going to be outdoors for a long period of time I use Blue Lizard sensitive spf 30 which is also mineral sunscreen.Paulas is perfectly adequate otherwise as spf only applies to the amount of time before you burn.Highly recommended.
Sunscreen -Clarins - UV Plus HP Day Screen High Protection SPF 40
Walko 1/23/2013 7:29:00 AM
Bought this for its titanium dioxide sunscreen. Love the fact it's weightless non greasy and works well under make up.However it's FULL of alcohol and it's fragranced. What's the point of protecting skin against the sun only to damage it with alcohol and this amount IS damaging.Alcohol is ok in moderation it acts as a preservative but this amount is madness!!
Moisturizers -Garnier - Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream
Walko 1/20/2013 7:05:00 AM
Can't understand why anybody would like this.It dosen't moisturise, it's packed in a jar,it's fragranced and it's FULL of alcohol. Never again.Contains no skin beneficial ingredients like antioxidants or vitamins. POOR product.
