Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor - Constantly Coral
Videofit 5/19/2005 4:56:00 PM
I love this product and have several other shades. However, Constantly Coral is screamingly bright. I put it on very thinly with a lipbrush and it still is too bright. An orangey-pink. It would probably work better in their Sheer line where it could be less pigmented. Revlon needs to tone it down somehow. Add some brown to it maybe.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Sheer Petal
Videofit 5/18/2005 2:21:00 PM
Sheer Petal is a very pretty pink, not too pale nor too dark on my skin. I have three of these Sheer lippies: Mocha, Pomegranate and Petal and I definitely plan to buy more. Not drying, easily removed with baby oil. Apply with a lip brush for best results.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Sheer- Sheer Pomegranate
Videofit 5/18/2005 2:18:00 PM
I am gradually replacing all of my conventional lippies with the Overtime line. I have two sheer colors, Mocha and Pomegranate. Pomagranate is a very pretty berry color. Not pale at all but more of a stain. I apply all my Overtime lippies with a lipbrush to prevent chipping or too heavily pigmented lips.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor Eternally Tan
Videofit 4/22/2005 4:58:00 PM
I am a blonde with yellow undertones and Eternally Tan is a flattering coppery brown, not too dark. Probably mid-range, colorwise, between the lighter Sheer Mocha and darker Always Sienna. I have both of those as well. Take the time to apply a thin coat carefully using a lipbrush, letting it dry while you finish your other makeup. Then apply another thin coat if needed or apply the gloss. Darker colors show more wear or bits of dry skin. Not terribly drying, just a bit, so I tend to use regular lipstick on alternate days.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor in Endless Spice
Videofit 4/18/2005 3:04:00 PM
I expected this to be a peachy brown, like spices are, but it turned out to be a nude pink -- my lips but prettier -- so it was a pleasant surprise. I recommend applying with a lip brush. Can be more time consuming and if I know I'll be rushed the next morning, I apply it at night! Won't budge!

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor Forever Scarlet
Videofit 4/11/2005 1:56:00 PM
I am a blonde with yellow skin tones and almost every red I've tried looks bluish on me. This was more of a cherry red with a hint of blue, which made it much too bright on me. I prefer the Always Sienna as my "red" because it's a more flattering red-brown. Also, if you don't apply this carefully, you can see the uneven application because it's a darker color.

Lipstick -Revlon - ColorStay Overtime Lipcolor - Always Sienna
Videofit 4/11/2005 1:54:00 PM
I prefer the sheer versions of long lasting lipstick because they avoid the problems you get with these darker colors -- you can see uneven application and wear. I'd suggest applying with a lipbrush in thin layers, letting each dry thoroughly. I do love this color, though -- more flattering than a true red on me (blonde, yellow skintone).

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime SHEER - Sheer Rosette
Videofit 3/28/2005 2:52:00 PM
I'm getting hooked on these Overtime products, both regular and sheer. This one is a pretty pink, not too bright. The best way to apply any of these is to use a lipstick brush and layer thin coats until you get the coverage you want, making sure each coat dries thoroughly. Long lasting, even the gloss lasts a long time, and I eat all day long.

Fragrances -Guerlain - Shalimar Eau Légère - Light
Videofit 3/26/2005 9:54:00 PM
I haven't tried Shalimar in years but after trying this new version, I am tempted. I remember the original being too strong and nauseating, but my changing tastes and body chemistry have me revisiting fragrances I dismissed in the past. I found Shalimar Eau Legere (aka Shalimar Light) to be a lovely compromise. After sampling it at Ulta, I happened to spot it at Ross for $27 and quickly snapped it up.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime SHEER Mocha
Videofit 3/9/2005 11:34:00 AM
I love these Overtime products. The sheer version doesn't show as much wear or chipping as the regular Overtime, especially the darker colors. Mocha is a natural lip color with some warmth to it. Unlike the regular Overtime product, the Sheer version's lip gloss topcoat has shimmer to it, but not overly so. I love this and plan to try more colors.

Fragrances -Floris of London - Malmaison

One of my all time faves. Two thumbs up! This and Oueillet de Sauvage by L'Artisan, are the two best carnation scents, Floris being a bit spicier.

Fragrances -L'Occitane - Canelle Orange
Videofit 2/23/2005 10:58:00 AM
This was a pleasant surprise. I thought it would be like Cinnabar or KL, since it's orange and cinnamon. It starts out like a fresh orange with no bitterness, then dries down to a soft, citrusy floral. I don't smell much cinnamon beyond a certain warmth.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Salvadori Dali - Laguna
Videofit 12/5/2004 12:28:00 AM
I wanted to keep this -- it started out wonderfully on my skin as a clear, soft floral, complex but not overpowering. Then, darn it, a vanilla note broke through and stayed. I am not a big vanilla fan. The previous poster mentioned iris, which I love, but I didn't smell it. Perhaps if I had, it would have cancelled out the vanilla for me. Like all of the Dali fragrances, the bottle is amazing -- the top is a big nose and the bottle is a pair of luscious lips.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor Bare Maximum
Videofit 11/14/2004 1:55:00 PM
My new favorite. This is a very pretty warm pink, a shade darker than your lips, so not too dark or too light. A hint of shimmer, so it's wearable without the gloss if you so desire. Apply thinly using a lipbrush and you will get the best result. Not drying at all.

Lipstick -Revlon - Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor - Timeless Nude
Videofit 11/12/2004 3:22:00 PM
My first foray into the world of long lasting lipsticks. I am quite pleased, I must say, considering the dire reviews for some of them. This is a "lip color" lippie, a bit on the pale side, but looks lovely with the gloss. Think JLo. Now I know why they sell the extra tubes of gloss separately. You will use that end much more than the lip color and will need the replacements. I apply it with a lip brush for more control, since it must be applied thinly and evenly to last and not clump. Then let it dry thoroughly before applying the gloss. It doesn't feel dry on my lips at all. My only complaint is that it's a bluish nude and not a warm nude, which I prefer. Still, not bad for the price. I am more inclined to try some others now.
