Highlighters -Smashbox - Artificial Light Luminizing Lotion

My skintype: Caucasian, cool (C25 in MAC, Vanilla in Make Up Store). Prism (for a sunkissed look) The texture is very fluid and easy to mix with moisturizer, foundation or whatever you desire. But at the same time it is VERY sparkling and glittery. I have no intention of using it for everyday looks - because it looks very overdone, and not really natural. The fact that you get so damn much out of the pump, is very annoying, because you don't need that much at all! - and it is impossible to pump less out. But overall it gives a pretty fake-bronze-shiny/sparkling skin effect. UPDATE 13/5-08 If you take off the pump, and dip whats on it on your finger, you can control the amount much easier. If you just settle with only applying it on your cheeks and the bridge of your nose, and dont put on too much, you can create a subtle and nice freshfaced look.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Color Correcting in Smashing Color Blend

My skintype: Caucasian, cool (C25 in MAC, Vanilla in Make Up Store). The green one (anti redness) This primer is fine, and nothing more than fine. It really isn't that brilliant. It reduces the redness minimally, but it doesn't cover it at all. The consistency is a bit oily, but easily absorbed by the skin, and does not clog the pores. UPDATE 13/5-08 I do not use this product anymore, and haven't done that for a while. It simply does not do anything for me.

Eye Shadow -Chanel - Les 4 Ombres-Vanites Quad

My eyecolor: brown-green Beautiful purple colors in a range from light and mild purple, to a very femme fatale dramatic, dark purple. Great texture, easy to apply and blend and easy to create just the look you desire (intense, light). UPDATE 13/5-08 My eyelids tend to grease up, and make every eyeshadow crease on me, and i use the UDPP to prevent this now. With this, the eyeshadow lasts forever!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15
rated 4 of 5

My skintype: Caucasian, cool (NC25 in MAC, Vanilla in Make Up Store). The first thing you notice is the coverage - it covers up blemishes and spots amazingly well. The consistency is pretty fluid, and it doesn't seem too heavy on your skin. But because of the coverage; be certant to get the right color! With the wrong color, this foundation will look like a mask. UPDATE I used to apply it with a MAC sponge, but the 168 brush (ment for contouring) works much more well.

Fragrances -Viktor & Rolf - Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb

Wonderful flowery scent with sweet vanilla-ish flower notes. It reminds me of spring, and it is very girly. IMO its more suitable for young women, than for mature, because of its overwhelming sweetness. The lasting power is okay.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo matte anti shine (tube)

Skin type: sensitive and combined (both dry patches, oily T-zone and i tend to have a few spots) Perfect for us, who still struggle with oily skin after using powder, mattifying moisturizers and wipe-off tissues. This primer stops my skin from getting greasy along the day, and is said to be able to contain 300 times its own weight. It does not make me break out. UPDATE 13/5-08 I still use this product, and I am still satisfied with it.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Waterproof

My lashtype: I HAVE to use a lashcurler, or else they drop down and loose that bambi-lash curl. Without waterproof mascara, my lashes tend to make me look droopy-eyed. My lashcurler is a MUSTHAVE in my makeup bag, and a waterproof mascara is too. I need a mascara that can prevent my lashes from dropping down again. Hypnôse waterproof mascara is really sublime for this - my lashes are defined, seperated and long. EDIT: The mascara dries out really quickly (in the bottle). One lippie less for that.
