Concealers -Make Up For Ever - HD Concealer
TinaGreece 1/3/2010 7:47:00 AM
I'm quite surprised at the negative feedback this concealer has received, I find it great. My HG concealer was/is By Terry Touch-Expert Concealer in #1 Fair, and when I went to Sephora to pick it up and they informed they no longer stock it, I chucked a mental, and the SA actually remembered me as he said: Oh no, you're the one who only wears By Terry eh?!! (I had freaked out one other time when he was looking for my shade and it was a very nail biting intense situation!:)) So, I had to face the fact that I had to purchase another concealer and foundation other than By Terry (I would also use the #2 By Terry concealer as a foundation). I decided to check out YSL touche eclat seeing I had read the designer of it was behind the by terry concealer also, therfore I had my sister be the guinea pig that day :) The SA applied the touche eclat on one eye and MUFE's HD (high definition) concealer on the other and wow what a huge difference! The ysl made her eye area look 10 years older! Whereas the mufe one was sooooooo smooth looking, hydrating and her eye area looked flawless! (My sis is 37 with great skin). So I am now using the mufe one and I am very very pleased with it. I have shade #315 (the lightest) and what I do is apply an extremely hydrating eye cream beforhand, apply the concealer which I blend with my MAC foundation brush then pat with a sponge, I find that leaves my eye area looking flawless. So thumbs up to it :) Retils in Greece for 25.80 euros. (37.00 US$)

Conditioner -Unlisted Brand - Emu Oil Well Emu Oil Conditioner
TinaGreece 11/8/2009 11:01:00 AM
*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning (I shed something terrible)- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now, dry and frizzy when not styled* This sounded promising: "Emu Oil Hair Conditioner contains Emu Oil and Rosemary Oil to moisturise the hair and scalp and to stimulate the hair follicles, resulting in thicker, healthier hair, and less hair loss." It has a normal-runny texture, which I layer on seeing it feels so airy (?). Anyhow, I saw absolutely no difference at all, I have terrible fall out each time I shampoo my hair still. This also left my hair dry as straw and dull. I ordered from feelunique.com Ingredients:Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Emu oil, Cetrimonium Chloride Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Panthenol, Hydrolysed Wheat Protein, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Rosemary Essential Oil, Orange Essential Oil, Phenoxyethanol.

Blush -Clarins - Powder Blush in Rose Petal 10
TinaGreece 11/8/2009 9:37:00 AM
UPDATE: I had written a review for this 12/1/2007- as seen below, but I just had to write a "fresh" one, i.e. not to just add an update. All I can say is that there is nothing like this blush, it's my favourite blush for that peaches and cream look. The past few months I wore this every single day (save a few times) and I am crushed that it has only a few tiny crumbled pieces left - which I am hanging to like I am hanging on to dear life- as I think this has been discontinued :(:(:(:( My perfect blush.
Initial review: *PIC* Oh wow, what a beautiful blush! I'm so in love with it. I had actually bought Heather Pink and seeing I liked it so much, i then also bought Sienna and Rose Petal, and when i saw Rose Petal, i for sure thought that this colour would not show up on my skin at all! Wrong, it's gorgeous! (My skin shade to be precise, is the same colouring as Laura Mercier's stick foundation spf 15 in: Natural. So, my skin shade is not considered light, which is why i didn't think it would show up) It shows up as a gorgeous soft baby pink shade, looks incredibly natural and just goes with everything. It's very well pigmented and i do not find i have to layer it on for it to show up at all. It's also a beautiful silky matte texture which really flatters my complexion. Absolutely loveee this colour! I definitely think it will be included in my staples and have found i reach for it nearly everyday now. I ordered this from strawberrynet for about 14.80 euros andc ouldn't be happier!
(pics do not do the colour justice though :)

Shampoo -Redken - Mens Thick Boost
TinaGreece 11/8/2009 8:49:00 AM
*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now lol, dry and frizzy when not styled* Name: Densify Thick Boost Texturizing Shampoo for men. I personally really liked this shampoo as it did give me volume and thickness which my hair lacks. However it did dry my hair out a tad bit after a while. Great to use once in a while. I would follow this with Alterna's Caviar Conditioner and Redken's Fabricate 03.

*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now lol, dry and frizzy when not styled* I really really liked this shampoo. I was using Redkens Density Thick Boost (mens) and was happy with it, but whilst in the shower I decided to reach for Headstrong- (my boyfriend has heaps of hair products). I actually liked it better than thick boost, it gave me volume, my hair felt stronger and looked healthier- which is quite rare. I followed with Redken's Color Extend conditioner and Fabricate 03 and was very pleased.

*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now ,dry and frizzy when not styled* I tried this twice and I must say, my hair looked great afterwards. I used this in conjunction with Redken's Headstrong Shampoo and Fabricate 03 texturizer and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. My hair colour looked more vibrant and my hair felt very healthy. True, I packed on the conditioner also, but I was happy with the results. I don't think I would only use this as my hair needs deep moisture, but I will definitely keep this on hand.

*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now lol, dry and frizzy when not styled* This didn't do anything for my hair. Did not add any moisture at all. Left my hair feeling weighed down and ewwww. I ordered from www.feelunique.com

Shampoo -Fudge - Torture Tonic Shampoo
TinaGreece 10/31/2009 3:21:00 PM
*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now lol, dry and frizzy when not styled* This shampoo was not for me unfortunately. It was extremely heavy for my hair, it actually even felt heavy and too thick whilst shampooing my hair. It weighed my hair down and I also didn't feel like it cleansed my hair either. I gave it to my boyfriend who likes some fudge products and knows his stuff when it comes to hair products. I ordered it from ww.feelunique.com

Styling Products -Redken - Fabricate

*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now lol, dry and frizzy when not styled* Name: Redken's 03 fabricate heat activate texturizer. I adore this product. It does not weigh my hair down in the least and manages to maintain my hair feeling "stronger" and soooo shiny. I also LOVE the scent of the latter, it actually reminds me of a certain mens perfume, I think by chanel? I can't quite put my finger on it but I do keep sniffing my hair :) Taken from site: >Activates texture and weightless definition > Heat-Active Technology helps create and control without stickiness > Leaves hair with a clean, weightless, touchable finish > Restores shine to dry, damaged or color-treated hair

*My hair: Chemically treated and styled, thinning- thank gosh though I have a thick hair folicle otherwise I would be bald now, dry and frizzy when not styled* I love love love this conditioner because this stuff gives me serious shine, we are talking sparkle here- which is rare for me. Does not weigh my hair down and offers bounce. Love it, but very pricey. I follow with Redken's Fabricate 03.

Lipstick -Laura Mercier - Creme Lip Colour - Rose
TinaGreece 9/28/2009 8:56:00 AM
Click for PIC.
I think the previous reviewer has captured the colour of this lipstick in the pic uploaded quite inaccurately (sorry) as it looks like a very nude whitish/purpley/pink??
I would describe this as a very warm pink/hint of rosey-tan as seen in the pic further below.
One of my favourites lipsticks as it is very moisturising, long lasting, matte and the colour is very flattering. During the summer this was my base before applying lipglosses as it was very neutral (I would either apply a bright pink or bright coral lipgloss) but during this season, I prefer to wear it on it's own. Lovely shade. This and Lancome's Rose Cashmere 390 are my two favourites at the moment.

I really like this lipstick, it goes on smoothly, is long lasting, matte, extremely pigmented and the colour is great! A medium to light neutral pink lipstick which is very flattering. If I want a nude look, I add a light coloured lipgloss, but I usually prefer wearing this on its own. It looks a bit too rosey/pink when looking at it in the tube, but applied I get a beautiful pink.
*Please note it may turn out lighter on my lips as I always have foundation and powder over them before applying my lipstick*

Lip Gloss -Yves Saint Laurent - #4 Pur Raspberry
TinaGreece 8/16/2009 9:45:00 AM
I love this Gloss Pur. I have been wearing this non stop nearly everyday all summer this year. I apply a neutral pink lipstick beforehand for more pigment and then this on top with a lip brush. It makes my lips look luscious and smooth and I love the pinky/watermelon colour. HG. It's the 2nd last one in the pic, click for a larger view. Please take note the pic I uploaded is not mine but from member: Pilinya which I found whilst browsing the pics section on mua.

Skincare - Face -Trilogy - Rosehip Oil
TinaGreece 7/17/2009 5:05:00 AM
This is a lifesaver for my very dehydrated skin. I wear it now most nights and my skin looks 10 times better. I like it so much that I also wear it before applying make-up as a base if I am to go out in the evening as my skin was so dry and dehydrated lately and looking awful- I apply and leave it on a few hours and then gently blot. Love it.
