A very odd shade of bronzer, and I agree with the prior descriptions, mauve/bronze = no orange. This would be beautiful on certain skin tones and for $3 I would say try it for certain. Not an overabundance of shimmer, more of a glow. Works better on me as blush. Packaging is crap, product is great.
Eye Shadow -L'Oreal - HiP Bright Duo - Brazen #118
TahneeT 8/14/2009 7:16:00 PM
The pink in this duo is fairly pigmented (not fabulously) very matte and works best for me as a bright eyeliner (haven't been able to get it to work well as e/s cuz it doesn't blend very well). The brown on the other hand is fabulous, extremely pigmented and dense for multiple uses. Overall fun and if I ever run out I would probably buy again.
this is a CRAZY glitter nail polish! i love the colors (esp. on my toes) coral, blue, silver and varying shades of pink. Fantabulous on, takes about three coats to get it to my liking. Dries fast, wears well in a rather cute little bottle. Brush is nothing special but I like colors like this cuz they're kinda goof-proof. wicked cheap like all w&w.
Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Aura Color Changing Gloss - Subtle
TahneeT 7/28/2009 5:01:00 PM
This is a review for the color (although colorless) "subtle". Due to the variances of color depending upon the person, I find these types of products to be very subjective. After trying Smashbox O and being very unimpressed (turned trashy bright pink on my lips) this lip gloss is a pleasant surprise. The color becomes a nice, clear pink, but not too OTT. Consistency is thick but not gloppy or too tacky, cushy, some slip, high shine. The only thing I've noticed that I'm not crazy about the color can be splotchy upon application. Squeeze tube with a slanted applicator. Staying power is typical lip gloss on me, approximately an hour or so. On sale for around $3, I'd buy again but I doubt I'll ever use it up. Edit: forgot to add no scent or taste that I can detect.
Just like the title says, this is an awesome set of 6 mini brushes, shaped similarly to the bamboo eye shading brush. The bristles are not quite as tapered, and obviously not as large and/or long (only about two inches) but they are perfect for someone like myself who isn't the most diligent about washing my brushes *wince*. So far I've used them to apply eye shadow and they work great, like most ecotools do. Perfect size for travel, as well as the perfect size for getting lost at home... very inexpensive $3.99 (US)
Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Celeb [DISCONTINUED]
TahneeT 6/28/2009 11:17:00 PM
This is a fabulous pink, very neutral but still very pink. Color is reminiscent of a debutante. Very creamy, non-drying. My only gripe would be that it has very little staying power. Rimmel l/l in East End Snob is a great match, so I may try filling my lips in with that first next time I cycle it back in. For the price it's a must-try, and I would definitely purchase again. Keep it with you, you'll need to reapply.
Lip Gloss -Neutrogena - Moistureshine Lipgloss in Groove [DISCONTINUED]

I cannot comment on if this is a good dupe for NARS Turkish Delight or not, but I do want to inform everyone to look at all the tubes and be sure to pick out the color you're looking for. There was a vast difference in pigmentation between the various tubes, one actually looked more nude than pink. The one I chose is a very light milky baby pink (think pepto with a good dose of white). Beautiful color, fantastic consistency (not too sticky, not too slippery) moisturizing, with just enough coverage. Packaging is nothing special and IMO kinda ugly. Nevertheless, decent product.
I couldn't resist this lipstick after reading reviews and cvs having a bogo 50% off sale. Wow, this is one intense pink, leaning toward the magenta side. I cannot wait to wear this one for a night on the town. My fave way to wear it during the day is to blot it down then top it off with Milani Crystal gloss in Kiss 'n' Tell (which is basically a clear gloss with gold glimmer) gives it a wicked contrast. Versatile! Had to add this edit... also looks amazing topped with Milani Crystal gloss in Baby Love. Bright but FANTASTIC.
Lipstick -Rimmel - Lasting Finish - Pink Champagne
TahneeT 6/15/2009 5:09:00 PM
What a fabulous color! This is pink, void of all beige/nude, very blue-based. Nice creamy consistency, sans shimmer. Extremely pigmented but can be worn sheer. One lippie off because color does seem to deposit into lip lines (but this was without balm underneath).
In the pan, this color is a vibrant, yet deep rose (hence the name, I guess!). Very similar to MAC Frankly Scarlet, not quite a perfect dupe as it isn't nearly as pigmented, but this may work better for some individuals. It buffs out easily to a nice sheer yet vibrant color. Could easily achieve that just-came-in-from-the-cold look with this color. And for $1 to boot...
This is a review for color 19 Pretty Plush, a beautiful rose-plum with slight shimmer. This color is not sheer, it's much more opaque than other crystal glosses (medium color with full coverage). Formula is long-lasting, creamy, slightly tacky, with a fantastic vanilla cake-batter scent/taste, still very glossy. Color is much prettier on vs. in the tube. Would repurchase again.
This is the only thing I've been able to use that actually "knocks out" the pigmentation of my lips and preps them for a good nude lip, not a concealed nude lip! There's enough pink to keep it from turning your lips too corpse like.
Lip Treatments -Soap and Glory - Sexy Motherpucker Lip Gloss
TahneeT 6/4/2009 5:28:00 PM
I haven't detected a plumping effect, more of a smoothing effect. Pretty sticky stuff, tingly on lips (not burning) no real taste or smell. Why only 3 lippies? I purchased the non-color "clear" thinking it would be transparent, yet it's not. It has a milky-coloring. And that milky-color gets worse when it's on your lips, giving them an odd whitish sheen, which creates a very unsexy-motherpucker.
Blush -Maybelline - expert wear new formula apricot flush
TahneeT 6/1/2009 3:36:00 PM
I think I've finally ventured into HG territory. As I was looking at this color in the store, I thought meh, it's so similar to this cheap bronzer I already own, should I even bother? Being on sale and a coupon and I figured it could be returned it all else fails. First off, it's very very pigmented, extra-soft consistency so very easy to pick up on your brush. And you'll want to use your own because the one that comes with it is useless unless you're looking for racing stripes. Took just a few taps of my 116 to get a nice bright cheek. Blends beautifully. On my skin the color is much more apricot than pink, with ultra-fine shimmer, almost more opalescent than shimmery. Gorgeous summer-flush color. Will definitely repurchase.
agree with all the previous reviewers, would just like to add that after blotting this color, it reminds me of a browned version of L'Oreal's Mica. LOVE!
