Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Eyes Trio - Amazon Greens [DISCONTINUED]
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 6:30:00 PM
Great set of greens, pale frosty, golden tan-olive, and a forest green that is really brighter closer to a jungle green on the lid. Very pretty and looks great. Will be buying a backup!

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss- Sugar Glaze
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 6:11:00 PM
This is a wonderful product and beautiful mid tone pink color. The color payoff is great for a gloss. It's nice thick and shiny, just like a glassy gloss should be! It's not as sticky as MAC's lipglass though but it's still good. It has a little bit of a fruit smell to it but it's not that strong at all and it's actually kind of a nice smell. This dusty rose pink color Sugar Glaze is my perfect shade. I love it. A++ hope they don't ever discontinue this! It's comparable to MAC nymphette without the gold glitter.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Liquid Eyes - Timeless Pink
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 6:04:00 PM
Doesn't have a high color payoff. Very shimmery pale whiteish pink bordering on glittery. This does however stay put extremely well. It's not as pink on you as it looks in the packaging. Nothing I want to rebuy even if it's not the worst product in the world. It's just kinda there.

Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Liquid Eyes
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 6:00:00 PM
This wasn't a terrible product. It does stay put well. It's really more of a shimmery eyeshadow though. It's doesn't have a lot of wow color factor to it at all. But if you like shimmery color toned eyeshadows and don't mind the fact that you can't blend these. This one might be for you.

Foundations -Wet 'n' Wild - Ultimate Minerals Powder Foundation in Fair
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 5:54:00 PM
This is a really light foundation. L'Oreals version is heavier and cover's blemishes/redness improfections better. This color is closer to a natural skin color than L'Oreal offers though. This has too much of a mica shine overtone which actually makes your pores look worse. :( This is more like powder with a bit of shineyness to it and not so much a foundation. Only downside is that ,fair, the lightest shade is one shade too dark for a true pale fair. It's not bad just a bit to sandy/buff colored for a fair. This isn't a horrible product by any means, it's just not wow! great! either. The packaging is annoyingly designed. I'll keep on searching for a powder foundation and just use my Jane Stay Calm in the meantime, which works fantastically well for a liquid!

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 5:42:00 PM
Wow this has the same amp shine as MAC lipglass. It is a little bit less sticky than lipglass though. It's still pretty good and thick for a $3 walmart/drugstore gloss though considering. I have it in the color sugar glaze. It's a great color for me, a nice mauve but slightly bright pink. Turn down your car's highbeams for this one, it's really that nice and shiney. Live's up to it's name of Glassy Gloss. A++ product.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Mega Plump
ScullyNess 2/27/2009 5:34:00 PM
This doesn't plump your lips at all, it just burns and stings a.k.a. "tingles" from the food grade cinnamon oil in it, that's all thats in it is cheap thin gloss and cinnamon oil like you would use in making hard candy. This product is a complete rip off and nobody likes burning lips from cinnamon oil or smelling the equivalent of big red chewing gum all day. Terrible rip off product. I give it an F

Finally I found a dark green nail polish without having to order on-line! Yes! I live in the boonies of Northern NY so drug stores/marts are about your only option around here. I was all getting set to buy a green from color club when I saw this in my walmart venture today. Wow in three coats (it goes on thin) it gave a very pretty one step below pine christmas green, Slight shimmer finish, similar to a frost it's such a fine small shimmer but much glossier and not dull like a frost. I'm so excited to show it off at the christmas party I'm going too, I'm layering crystalic in psycho (clear sparkles) over it for the big office party. Can't wait! Going to be buying another bottle of it, since it painted on so smoothly with no streaking.

Polishes -Essie - Nailpolish

Thinking I had a bad bottle, I tried a second one of a different type/color, The results always slow drying and I mean like slllllllllllllllloooowwww drying, I waited 45 minutes and my nails weren't dry yet. Also it has a weird consistency that applies streaky similar to cheap NYC polishes which is a shame, only difference is the cheap .93 new york color ones dry faster... Sorry essie but your line is junk! Especially for the money.

Polishes -China Glaze - Calypso Blue
ScullyNess 11/17/2008 4:24:00 PM
Dries to a shiney wet look (without a top coat) dark royal blue that almost borders on navy but is a bit brighter and more interesting with still be dark enough to be classy for winter. Love it! Nice smooth application, 2 coat perfection! Although the next day did chip on one nail across it but I think it was the way I painted that particular nail sides. lol

Polishes -Essie - Angel Food
ScullyNess 11/17/2008 4:15:00 PM
I was dissapointed with this. I had another essie french nail color called futures french and loved it. So I figured what the heck, try another shade. This is TERRIBLE! It's thick, streaky and clumpy, it's not opaque enough to be a good smooth solid color without getting chunky and smeared easily and it's way too streaky of an odd white thick color when applied on your nails. It's also slower drying than my other essie polish. It also dents like crazy because even after an hour it doesn't harden well. STAY AWAY from this, it dries to an odd matte grey on your nails! yuck I'd return it if I hadn't boughten it at a store that's hours away from my home. Just say NO!

Polishes -New York Color - Long Wearing Nail Enamel - White Lights Glitter 101A
ScullyNess 11/17/2008 2:32:00 PM
This looks pretty in the bottle but applies horribly. It goes on really thin and you discover it's just huge chunks of glitter with way to much clear thick liquid. The glitter coverage is really sparse. I literally have 7 coats one at a time drying inbetween and it's still not enough coverage of glitter. Wet N' Wild glitter polish are packed with glitter and great with just 2 coats. NYC ones don't even have the little peice in them to shake up the polish after it settles and seperates. Which it does quickly in half a month unfortunatly.

Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Petites Black Amethyst
ScullyNess 11/17/2008 11:08:00 AM
Wow, this is incredible nail polish. It's paint tone is black creme but it has super microfine glitter in it that is a dark purple that reflexs. It's actually good quality, it's thicker and spreads evenly and opaque with 2 coats and the glitter doesn't "float" like cheap nail polishes usually do, it's actually embedded nicely in the enamel paint itself and looks like part of the color instead of looking like cheap junky glitter that belongs on someone that's 9 years old, I'm in my late 20's and wear this to work once in awile as a change from standard french nails or bright colors. It's less a $1.50 to buy it which is just amazing. I'm still surprised it looks as nice as it does. Only downside is you need a clear top coat if you want it to shine otherwise it's matte.

Polishes -OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark
ScullyNess 11/9/2008 10:36:00 AM
it's a dark wine purple bordering on black without just being cheap looking black. You do need two coats though to keep it from looking streaky and unfinished though. It dries surprisingly fast and has held up well, No dents, nice and hard and hasn't chipped on me yet.
