Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

What a waste. I have oily skin so I'm always looking for something that will make my matte stuff matte-r and my makeup last longer before I become a big blob of shine. Thank goodness I got this as a gift because I would've been P.O.-d if I spent 30 bucks on this crap. First of all, the bottle is deceptively big...you use so much at a time that it hardly lasts. Secondly, I noticed NO difference in the life or look of my makeup when using this spray; sure, it felt nice to spray some cool "water" on my face, but the pros end there. The bottle itself looks cheap, and to be considered a "prestige" cosmetic I would've expected something a little nicer-looking. Anyway. I had high hopes for this spray but was very disappointed.
I don't know what is the best part about this mascara: how it works or how freaking adorable the packaging is. Purple python leather? So cute. The mascara itself is awesome, gives you volume and length with only 1 or 2 coats (although I probably do 3 or 4 or 5 because I can't stop myself). It is dramatic, so naturally I use it all the time...or I would if it wasn't so expensive. I burn through mascara so fast that $20 is waaaayyy too much to spend (unless I have a coup). This mascara gives me the lashes I wish I was born with!!
Sunscreen -Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Liquid Daily Sunblock spf 70

THANK YOU NEUTROGENA! I am fair, burn easily (and quickly), and wear sunscreen on my face, neck, and chest daily. The fact that I already have oily skin usually makes my sunscreen habit a disastrous one...it only compounds the problem. With this product, I can get the sun protection I need (SPF 70, woo hoo), with the matte face I want. I typically mix a couple of drops of MUFE Mat Velvet foundation in with this sunscreen for sheer coverage. The packaging on this stuff is great too; it's easy to get just the amount you need without wasting any product. I will be heartbroken if this stuff ever stops being made.
This is my go-to perfume for spring and summer. It is fresh and light, and I always get compliments when I wear it. I must admit, I'm a sucker for nice packaging, and I love the way this bottle looks lined up with all my perfumes, or peeking out of my makeup bag. I would agree that it doesn't last a super long time, but I wouldn't say it's any shorter-lasting than other EDPs out there. Just take it with you and admire the bottle when you touch up.
Awesome! A girlfriend told me about this stuff when I was complaining about my skin being too sensitive for scented lotions (and my overall laziness when it comes to putting on body lotion). This stuff is so easy, I just put it on as I'm getting out of the shower...and if I'm feeling ambitious I put body lotion on a couple minutes later. This stuff smells clean and amazing, and my skin looks softer and smoother. My friends use it just before going out at night for a little extra sheen (I still have to try that). I'm just sad I went this long in life without it! (One more note--do NOT travel with this bottle unless you can keep it in a vertical position...no matter how tight the cap is screwed on, it WILL leak if tipped on the side.)
Bleh. I got this mascara as part of a set (that I only bought because I wanted the eyeshadow and liner). I wish they would've tossed out the mascara and put in some bronzer or something, because this stuff is terrible. The primer looks promising when you first put it on, but as soon as you apply the mascara, your lashes clump together. It looked like I had 3 clumps of scraggly, sad looking lashes. I washed it off and threw it away. Too bad because Lorac has some good stuff in their line, this mascara gives them a bad name.
BEST drugstore mascara. I usually hate those silicone bristle brushes, because I think they make your lashes look thin and give no volume. I do tend to go kind of crazy with mascara, but with this stuff I can get the look I love with only 1 or 2 coats. Plus, the packaging is cute and the price is right. My only complaint would be that it dries fairly quickly so if I want to apply a second coat, it's gotta be pretty soon after the first. But this mascara is worth that small adjustment!
Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - De-Slick in a Tube Mattifying Gel

I LOVE this stuff. I have an oily T-zone and on top of that, I use SPF 70 every day... = grease monkey! I usually put De-Slick on over moisturizer and under foundation, but the great thing about it is that you can use it on top of foundation as well. The salesperson warned me that if you use too heavy a hand in applying it, you may notice a white cast on your skin; I have never had this problem (but maybe that's because I'm heeding her warning and I'm extra careful about it). The proof of De-Slick's magic is just looking at pictures of myself before I found this little miracle, and comparing it to new pics...no more shine!
