My go-to foundations are ELDW and Revlon Colorstay~ I love the coverage and long wear, however I am looking for something lighter and more natural looking for summer, so I saw this and thought I would like it. Well, I did not- it had that silicone feel (that I hate) and just seemed to sit on top of my skin, even though I blended it with a beauty blender sponge. Coverage was very light, which I hated the fact I would have to slap more of this silicone feeling product on my face to build it up. The appearance wasn't great either, it made me look old and cakey. With a lot of Revlon cosmetics- it's hit or miss- either it's a great product or a very baaad product! I'm returning mine to CVS.

Love this product. I've tried the Sally's version One 'N Only- while that is good, it does not compare to this- it hydrates and makes your hair silky, but does not leave an oily feeling or weigh hair down. Hair seems to just drink this in, while others I have tried just seem to lay on top. If Sally's comes up with a lite version of the One 'N Only I will buy that one, only because this is very expensive.

I really like these for a nice exfoliation. They remind me of a buff-puff, but not as scratchy. After using these I get a nice glow from the rev up in circulation. They take off makeup as well.

Eyes -Revlon - Photoready Eye Primer + Brightener

I'm deducting a lippie for the price~It was $9.99 at CVS- for the tiny amount (0.08 oz.) you get. Other than that, It's a very nice concealer for brightening the under eye without being cakey or settling into lines. It's very liquid-y and I find it best to put a bit on my finger and tap it on. My stand-by was the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind , but I've been reaching for this one more, lately. I'd day- wait for it to go on sale- I won't buy another one unless it was on sale!

I really love this oil. I especially love it after I color and my hair tends to be very dry, this makes the ends less crunchy and adds some nice shine. I like it better than any other type of oil I've used. I use it before blowdrying, when my hair is just slightly damp.

Cleansers -Olay - 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths - Sensitive

I just tried these for the first time and I've already purchased a back up box while they were still on sale. These would be a really handy item to have on hand if you travel. You don't have to worry about packing a liquid, they are sanitary and also you can avoid using the white washcloths hotels have and messing them up- I always leave an ugly amount of makeup on those! They are also good for lazy nights when you just want a quick wash. Makeup wipes just don't make my skin clean, and I don't like the residue they leave behind. I know they aren't considered enviromentally friendly, though. I do like the cleanser infused in the cloth- it makes you clean without stripping your skin.

This is in comparison to the Aveda Pure Abundace, which I like quite a bit. I thought I would try this because I had a coupon for $3.00 off so I got it for 99 cents. It's an alright product, if you don't have the money to spend on the Aveda. I like the packaging better, I like that it has a shaker dispenser, so it would work better if you were to shake it on the area that you want volume. I like to just put it on my hands and apply it to the roots. The Aveda I think is better in the fact that it isn't as tacky or sticky. It feels the same when you apply it, but my hair overall just felt dirty when I used this. You would have to wash your hair the next day or else you'll have a big old birds nest of tangly hair. I would say buy the Aveda, it's better and will last your at least a year.

Treatments -Redken - Extreme Strength Builder Plus

This is a great product! I have bleached fine and thin hair. Whenever I run a comb through it, I get shedding and my ends are prone to snapping. I use this mask about once a week and it has really helped with the shedding and my ends are much stronger. It also makes your hair look healthy. The best way to use this, is in the shower after you've shampooed, is to get a towel and get the most water out of your hair as possible. I put it up in a turban for a minute or so- a turbie twist would work great. Then I get about a handful and really saturate my hair with it, I comb it through with a wide toothed comb, and then put on a shower cap, to heat it up for the rest of the shower, I will shave and wash then rinse at the end. I think the trick is to get as much water out of your hair, so it can really penetrate.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Body Butter - Love etc...
rated 4 of 5

One smell of this and I was in love! I have also purchased the perfume and body wash in this scent. I've had a tub of this body butter for about eight months. I tend to use it more in the winter than summer, plus you don't need much. I went to use it recently, and I think it went bad- just that the scent was "off". Good thing that it was almost gone, so I tossed it. I've had other body butters from TBS and they haven't gone bad. So If you have this- use it up quickly!

If you like NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk or Cottage Cheese, you will LOVE this! I like to use NYX Milk to add pop to my shadows, and it works well, however tends to fade over time. This keeps the vibrancy of the shadow all day long! Great product and I want to check out the gold color next!

Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Lengths Mascara (2011)

ProductJunkey 1/16/2012 3:10:00 AM

I have this in the waterproof version. I usually have pretty good luck with Maybelline mascara- not this one.I was expecting drama and length- this gave me nothing. I'm sure if you had the time to put on at least 3 coats it would look just "okay". I'm taking this back.

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Dana Classic Fragrances - Love's Baby Soft

I was a teenager in the late 70's- early 80's, so I did wear this - I have memories of dousing myself with this after gym class freshman year. All the girls used this, so the whole locker room smelled of it. The scent does bring back memories. I just purchased a gift set of this after Christmas at Walmart and it was $2.50- so I thought what the heck...I really enjoyed this scent in high school. I remember then moving to the BABE cologne, which was my favorite for many years- right up until it was discontinued in 1992 or so. I wish they would bring that one back!

Eye Makeup Remover -Lumene - Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover for Eyes and Lips
rated 5 of 5
ProductJunkey 1/5/2012 3:29:00 AM

HG! I started using this about six months ago. I have always just used plain old baby oil to take off my eye makeup. Every product that I tried that was specified as an eye makeup remover tends to burn my eyes, and I don't have sensitive eyes. Another product that was good was the L'oreal Clean Artiste. I tried this because it had extra bucks at CVS, and now I won't be without it. What I do is take the stopper off the top (it comes off easily) then I just dip two Q tips in~ one is good for each eye- just swipe downward and upward to take off mascara and then I just run a tissue over my eyes and my eyeshadow comes off. I find this wastes less product, and also wastes less cotton rounds.

Lips -Clinique - Chubby Stick - Woppin Watermelon *NEW FORMULA*
rated 3 of 5
ProductJunkey 12/19/2011 5:26:00 AM

I purchased this after seeing Pixi Woo using it in a tutorial on you tube. I do love the color, however it wears off within minutes of applying and seems to dry out my lips. I'm also concerned about the cap coming off in my purse. It isn't very secure. The color reminds me a bit of pink fish lip balm from Mac.

Please read the ingredients. The third one is boric acid, which in large doses in used to kill insects. I do not want that near my eyes!
