this is a very "nice" perfume. it's non offensive...you could pretty much wear this anything and no one would get mad at you...even in a crowded elevator. IT's bland and sweet, like Aquolina Pink Sugar, so it will probably be a success:P it's too sweet for me-i like florals the best (Joy is my favorite:) but this is a nice perfume to spray when i go to macys and feel like spraying something girly on-also guys seem to like it=) the bottle is gorgeous though. I was really expecting better perfume because of it..i would almost buy it just for that gorgeous bottle:) UPDATE: after smelling it for a while longer, I have to say, this is a lot better than I thought it was at first! I wouldn't exactly say it's sexy, but it's warm, comforting, and...really really pretty(: Although I could see this being sexy to some people...but I'd rather use the Viva la Juicy by Juicy Couture, which is a similar style of perfume, and is REALLY sexy..boys go crazy over it!

Skincare - Face -Pro Activ - 3-Step System

OHMIGOD. When I first moved to a hot tropical climate, I had the WORST SKIN EVER. Like seriously, one giant pimple with mascara. I was so desperate that I bought this at the mall. My face peeled, burned, was sun-sensitive...it was dry, but got super oily within only an hour or two. I couldn't wear make up over top of it..I was sooo embarrassed of my face for the short amount of time I used it-I never returned it, I used the whole thing just like it says. And another thing? It doesn't prevent blemishes and it doesn't treat ones that are already there. Is there any point in this? NO WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I have mixed reviews on this..this isn't a bad product, especially my bizarre acne prone-super oily tzone-pretty dry everywhere else skin decides to act up. I have noticed that if I use this in the morning without a washcloth, there is residue left over on the cotton pad-in the morning?? Doesn't sound right.. I can also use this as a shave gel and a bath gel if I'm too lazy to move my butt out of the shower and grab something else..don't know how it would work on hair lol:P but yeah, pretty good..wouldn't recommend it as something strong to take off a bunch of stuff-particularly not makeup..but in the morning...s'all good:)

Lotions/ Creams -LUSH - Dream Cream

The texture of this is smooth and creamy. It moisturizes well-I would totally recommend this HOWEVER... the smell. that god awful smell. the smell that made me gag and double over and fan my nose furiously and finally..take a shower just to get that smell away from me. Do not buy if you have a sensitive nose...the smell lingers and the most repulsive thing I have ever smelled-if anyone has ever read my other reviews-I would rather drown myself in a big fresh vat of Aquolina Pink Sugar than ever have to smell this again.

This is a lovely perfume. It's not for me, however. I can see this on the 40s starlet with the ruby red lipstick and the gorgeous short hair...like Keira Knightley in Atonement? BUt she wouldn't be the one to wear it..Briony would. (Also, if anyone watches the BBC program "My Family" .. I could totally see Janey wearing this...maybe it's just me, but it's like Janey in a bottle) It's light and floral and fresh, and suitable for all occasions. Unfortunately it doesn't suit me, but on the people it does, it's amazing

Fragrances -The Body Shop - Japanese Musk
rated 1 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 10/11/2008 1:41:00 AM

So I tried this the other day..NOT IMPRESSED. I've recently become very interested with Japanese themed products, since I'm moving to Japan or college in a little over a year. I dabbed it on my wrist and didn't think twice about it. I scratched my nose about twenty minutes later and noticed this foul smell. Since I was in Macy's, I discretely looked around-it couldn't be the store, right? Nobody was really around me, so in desperation, I started sort of sniffing myself-I smelled my shirt, and not smelling anything weird, took a sniff of my wrist-good God, my wrist smelled like the bathroom at Wal Mart when it hasn't been cleaned in awhile- which is not what I want to smell like! Maybe it's just my chemistry reacting with the perfume-the reviews seem pretty positive. But on me...it's just vile.

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - With Love by Hilary Duff
rated 4 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 10/11/2008 1:32:00 AM

I got a full size bottle of this when my mom bought tons of Elizabeth Arden skin care products (which she loves, by the way). The SA was wonderful- she gave so much free stuff, and when she found out I was 16, she went and got me the box of this. She sprayed it on my hand and I was kinda iffy about it..but I took it anyway, and the more I smelled it, the more I loved it. It was really cold this morning, and I wore the perfume today...the perfume is warm, and sweet...it's like a cashmere blanket and hot chocolate and good book on a cold, rainy day. It's not something to wear on a hot day...but it's delicious and warm and sweet...this isn't a perfume that I would have expected from a former pop princess...it's lovely and beautiful...I honestly don't see why it has such warm reviews. Try it...and don't judge it by the first initial blast (at first spray, it does smell like vodka), but when the alcohol in the perfume wears off, all you smell is the chocolate and coconut...:D

Powder -Shiseido - The Makeup Powdery Foundation SPF 15
rated 4 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 10/2/2008 3:08:00 AM

This is amazing...I wore this when I went to camp with my school- it was gross. It was hot, sticky, humid- all day outside...if I had been wearing a liquid foundation, I just know I would have been a grease ball. However, with this foundation, I was pretty much grease free until lunch time, when I stopped in the bathroom, and had to blot a little with a piece of toilet paper. I would totally recommend this, except for those days when my skin is dry and flaky. It only seems to make that particular problem worse.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque
rated 1 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 10/1/2008 12:24:00 AM

I've used about half of my bottle, so I now feel qualified to write a review. I'll definately update if anything changes-I really hope it does-but it hasn't worked well for me so far. It goes on like a regular clay mask-albeit one that kind of comes out like toothpaste. It stings a little, I always put it on after a shower, when my pores are open and steamy. The stinging goes away after a little while. It dries after about 15-20 minutes. I rinsed it away like I do my regular clay masks-rinse, then massage it off with my fingers, rinse, and keep repeating until it's all gone. My skin will look good for the rest of the evening, but when I wake up-disaster! Pimples everywhere, shine and oil for at least a week after. I feel gross after using this. I don't feel like it's cleaning out my pores-blackheads that weren't there before appear, skin that was previously smooth and pretty becomes congested. I wanted this to work soooo bad. But I guess this mask and I...just weren't meant to be friends:'(

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
rated 5 of 5

This is amazing! I was skeptical at first-NOTHING has helped anything stay on my eyes-so when I got the sample, I tried it out and was...disappointed. Fast forward a few months, I tried it again, only this time i used a little more and made sure it was all over my eyelids. It was magic! I bought a tube of it the other day, along with MUFE Face and Body Foundation. I put it on and applied my makeup as usual before going to the movies (Eagle Eye is amazing-go see it!). When I got back from the movies, my eyeshadow was flawless, my eyeliner was still right beneath my lashes...my makeup looked like I had just applied it(:

Liquid -Make Up For Ever - Face & Body Foundation
rated 5 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 9/28/2008 4:45:00 PM

This foundation is amazing! I got a sample of it in Shade 20, about a week ago. I've been using it everyday and two days ago I went ahead and bought the bottle. The shade matches my skin perfectly. When I applied it, I knew it would dry fast from the reviews so I only put a little on my cheek and blended with my fingers..I couldn't figure out where the makeup had gone! This makeup really looks like skin. It doesn't look like I'm wearing foundation when I wear this-it just looks like I have really fantastic skin(: It feels very light and the texture is...weird. After reading the reviews, I was expeecting a consistency of hair gel, but it was liquidy and kind of...gross. My skin is mostly clear, and I didn't see any new blemishes since using this-my skin is actually looking better! The packaging sucks majorly. To get around all the contamination, I poured a small amount of it into the sample jar I got from Sephora, and sealed the rest off and put it in a dark place. This way, I don't have to worry about a lot of it spilling out and stuff...I totally recommend this foundation!

Fragrance -Fresh - Cannabis Santal

A senior at my school used to wear this and he smelled so-o-o-o good. Us girls used to smell his shirt after he wore it and took it off and pass it around. I can't imagine this cologne on anybody but him-he was a stoner, but this was only enhanced by the scent of the weed, even though he used it to cover up the smell. We were all very very sad when he stopped wearing this...I fully recommend this for a guy, but I just can't imagine it for a girl.

Fragrances -Calgon - Turquoise Seas

PRiNCESSMAHiNA 9/23/2008 11:03:00 PM

I wore this in elementary and middle school...I've always been a fragrance person, I guess haha. Smelling this gives me a headache and makes me kind of sick to my stomach now...but it was good for then. I don't wear body sprays anymore, but if I were going to, it would probably be either a Victoria Secret one, or a different Calgon one-this one is a little too 2-6th grade.

Styling Products -Frederic Fekkai - Glossing Cream with Olive Oil
rated 5 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 9/22/2008 12:54:00 AM

HG STATUS!! I never thought I would say that about any hair styling product-my hair is dry, frizzy, poufy, gross-you name it. I decided to try this after seeing that it was one of Sephora's top picks. I shook it up, seeing that it had seperated and used a little bit-maybe the size of a dime?-and ran my hands through my hair. I could see instantly that my hair was smoother and shinier-it even felt softer:) The real test came at school, which is almost completely outdoors. The day was hot, and there was no AC, just fans. My hair stayed soft and gorgeous all day, and my friend complimented it, saying "I love how shiny your hair is!" :D I would definately recommend this for someone with frizzy, gross hair-or maybe hair that isn't frizzy and gross. Either way, I would recommend it-also, if you use too much it will make your hair greasy looking. JUST A LITTLE IS ALL YOU NEED.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Colossal
rated 4 of 5
PRiNCESSMAHiNA 9/22/2008 12:48:00 AM

Gnerally, I like this mascara. LOOKS: The purple and yellow tube is bright, so it shows up wherever I put it-no matter how dark. Personally, I think it's tacky on my vanity table though. SMELL: It smells a little like roses...I don't mind the smell, but I can see how other people would. USE: One or two coats won't do much-but if you do the little eye half closed method, it will make your eyelashes long and soso volumized. The color was "Glam Black"-it's very, very dark, which I really like. WASH: It washes off really well, and doesn't smudge on my oily lids:) So, overall it's a pretty good mascara-one last word, though-don't let it get hot-I ran out of time in the morning and stuck it in my book bag. I opened it after my second class to put it on and all the mascara was clumped around the brush! So I had to throw it out. But if you're not going to get it hot, then it's totally a great mascara-and for the price, it can't really be beat!
