This is the mother lord of all hair straighteners.... after using a drugstore hair straightener and simply trying this... you will shell out the 340$ CDN to buy it. ___________________________________________________________ With this hair styler... styler as in it DUSNT ONLY STRAIGHTEN YOUR HAIR!!.... you can give yourself tight curls, curls, straight, crimped, waved, flipped, and volumized hair with this one hair STYLER! Its all about the technique you use..... How does this work?? Well because the sides are rounded.... you can create soooooo many styles. Its kinda like.... how can you curl ribbon with scissors?? Well you use the same technique to curl ribbon as you do with this styler. ___________________________________________________________ I have curly medium length hair... but even when I had long hair it took me 10 minutes to completely straighten my hair and when i'd come back home after school even though I walked to and back from school in foggy or misty weather it would stay pin straight. This is love I tell you.... ___________________________________________________________ I have dropped it.... everyday for the last half year... its still alive and working! But if something were to happen to it... and for a odd reason my ten year warranty didnt pull thru.... I'd buy another!

Eye Makeup Remover -Neutrogena - Oil Free eye makeup remover

I dont understand why people would go and actually purchase chanel or lancome makeup remover.... its expensive and it REMOVES makeup. That said.... this mu remover is as good as lancomes bi-facial... and the formula is almost identical. ___________________________________________________________ I'm not gunna get too deep into this review... its pretty basic. This product removes everything including waterproof mascara. ___________________________________________________________ How does bi-facial beat this remover? In its packaging... while this makeup remover isnt unpleasant looking on your bathroom counter...it does spill. But considering its so cheap... it dusnt suck too badly. Most mu removers have a hole on the top that is pretty small... (so it dusnt spill). But this one dusnt... so whenever I'm taking my makeup off after a party (when i'm not quite myself lol =P) I spill haf the thing in onto my counter or floor. ___________________________________________________________ This stuff is cheap and gets the job done. Its my fav!

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara

This wasnt a huge dissapointment... because my friend gave me the sample of this mascara. Its very basic mascara with very basic natural results... because I'm a dramatic false lash girl this mascara did not cut it..... i would sujest the hypnose (read my review). Sorry clinique... but you guys must have been high when you decided it made a "high impact"... in other words.... you could buy a drugstore mascara for a lower price and nicer results. ___________________________________________________________ Why would i give a basic but decentmascara 1 lippie? Because it didnt do what it was meant to.

Blush -Revlon - Golden Affair Sculpting Blush - Merlot after Midnight

WOW! Since its a LE it has now gone on sale and I bought it for 6$ CND. I'm gunna have to go back to the store and pick up 5 more. ___________________________________________________________ Its one of those colors that work on all skintones with all makeup looks.... pair it with bedroom eyes or a super glam old hollywood look and it will look equally amazing. I think its a flattering color no matter which skintone.... dark light or medium (or any other skintone). Since I have both this I havent worn a contour orhighlight color... because this fabolus blush does all 3!!! ___________________________________________________________ When i first got this I put it on and went outside to shovel snow and I came inside and my dad said "wow lizzie, your cheeks look great and sooooo flushed".... but heres the thing.... my cheeks naturally have NO pigment... i could be blushing and nobody would know! So this stuff is great! ___________________________________________________________ The color: A really deep burgundy plum with golden reflects. Its SUPER pigmented so you can layer iton depending on the look you want to achieve. The texture: Super smooth! And really longlasting.... i've had problems with (mac) blushes not showing up (even with foundation underneath) because it cant seem to grab onto my skin. NOT THIS BLUSH! ___________________________________________________________ Packaging isnt great. Sure the pattern is beautiful but the case isnt. But you do get A LOT of product (6 g). But it does contain talc =[[[ as the main ingrediant and the second is corn starch.

Basic eyeliner. I could get the same thing from the drugstore. I like the cap, its gold (wel mine is atleast). Smudges a lot on me... it never smudged that much on my momwhen she used it. Will not be repurchasing.

Lipstick -Lancome - Color Fever in Fashion Crave Framboise

I feel like such a lucky gal getting this as one of my many free girfts from lancome! Most of the products i've gotten in the past as gifts i've never touched. Especially the lipsticks, since I am a teen.... I dont wear lipstick. But I found that this gorgeous shade was very similar to my natural color. My lips are very pigmented in the late spring, summer, and early fall but in the winter my lips seem to dry out and lose their natural warm pink flush which looks great with my olive undertoned skin. This is a few shades darker and more of a raspberry (thats why its named framboise: raspberry in french). I simply put on my lipconditioner and dab this on top. Its a beautiful look. As for the texture... its what I like best about this lipstick. Its not drying...its very smooth and silky to apply and the slight frosty shimmer in it makes your lips appear fuller and give more dimention to them. THIS IS DEFINITLY A KEEPER!

Shampoo -Matrix - Biolage - Hydrating Shampoo

This is what I expect from a good shampoo. It cleaneed my hair while leaving it soft, silky, healthy and manageable. HOWEVER i do have very healthy, shiny, soft and manageable shampoo. So I cannot say that after using this shampoo your hair will become healthy, smooth, silky, soft, and manageable if it isnt already. ___________________________________________________________ This cost me 40$ CDN for a set of a large shampoo and this conditioner at a beauty supply store. ___________________________________________________________ Yes this product is expensive.... but defiitly concentrated like most good salon hair products are.... that said a dime size amount is all thats neccasery to get the desired result. OH AND BTW IT SMELLS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Conditioner -Matrix - Biolage - Conditioning Balm

This is definitly a exeptional product. Because I already have healthy hair it wasnt like WOW! But it did everything I expected a great conditioner to do. Leave my hair soft, silky, smooth, friz free, and manageable. ___________________________________________________________ I am not a fan of the packaging... I hate unscrewing lids while in te shower because my hands get slippery from other products. But it does let you use ALL the product and its too thick to be put into a normal conditioner bottle. With that in mind, only a dime size is necessary to achieve the desired results. ___________________________________________________________ Yes, this is expensive. But dont go wasting your money on drugstore shampoos/conditioners.... they're no good for the long-run of you hair. This cost me 40$ CDN for a set of a large shampoo and this conditioner at a beauty supply store.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium

MY VERY FIRST MAC PRODUCT!!! And let me assure you that this is exactly what a pressed powder should be. ___________________________________________________________ I use this over my moisturizer if my skin is looking somewhat even in color... to get rid of the shine and blur the imperfections. Or I use this over my foundation If I'm going out or something. It gives a beautiful natural finish. It DOES NOT look like you're wearing powder. ___________________________________________________________ Don't get me wrong, this product does not give enough coverage to be worn alone if you have some skin problems. MY skin has a bunch of bumps underneath my skin... but no foundation/powder can hide of that so it dosent worry me too greatly. ___________________________________________________________ It can cake like ANY face product when too much is applied... or with too many times. That said.... a little goes a long way and even though its quite pricey... it should last quite a while. ___________________________________________________________ The finish is sheer - ligh coverage. Very natural.... not too matte but not too dewy.

Mascara -Sephora - Atomic Volume

I live in Canada.... therfore do not get to enjoy sopping at sephora =[[ I must drive to Seattle to go to sephora =[[[ Therfore when I was in france I kinda spent 13 Euros on this mascara! Thats about 20 bucks canadian! Which is a lot more than the reguar price in the states (i think). Therfore I expected a lot form this mascara.... unfortunatly. ___________________________________________________________ My friend and I both bought this mascara. I have blonde thin and long eyelashes. She has platnum blonde medium thickness and super long (to her eyebrows lashes). The next morning when we saw each other we both said.... "wtf happed to your eyelashes?" ___________________________________________________________ They were clumpy, spidery, stubby, and not very thick. BUT once we got used to the extremely dangerous mascara wand our lashes looked good.... but they usualy look fake cuz they're soooo long, defined, curled, volumized, seperated, and perfect. ___________________________________________________________ The wand..... is DANGEROUS! I cannot use this mascara cuz I am a huge clutz and constantly poke myself in the eye with it (theres a row of metal bristles that are longer than all the other bristles) and cause my eyes to water and my mascara to run... before i even finish my makeup! Plus the tube itself is not too attractive... its really fat looking. ___________________________________________________________ This mascara also really flaked on me.... and smudged. ___________________________________________________________ I will definitly NOT be repurchasing.

Hypnose...How I love you! You thicken, curl, define and lengthen my lashes for a beautiful fanned look... You make people believe I am wearing falsies! But no, Its my beloved Hypnose. I'm sorry for cheating on you with sephoras atomic volume... I should have know he was no good all along. He just clumped all my lashes and flaked underneath my eyes. I m very happy that we can work things out.... cuz I've heard you've clumped on other girls... but not me! Have I mentioned that I love your curvy body...its so unique and comfortable for me to use! Xoxo.... yours forever!

Lip Gloss -Lancome - Color Fever Gloss Solaire

Really great lip gloss! I like how it can be layered for a more orangy coral look or a tint of coral. This is my moms, therfore I've only used it a few times.... but I do use it only for the color. It does not plump my lips (but my lips are super blump already) therfore I won't be giving it 5 stars... it dosent do what its meant to do. Plus I adore the packaging! I think its super cute and a beautiful color in the container thing (i dont know what they're called). __________________________________________________________ I wont be buying it anytime though, I'm not much of a lipgloss person.

I was sick of having nasty skin.... so after my monthly facial (which is a must for all acne fighters) I was complaining to my facialist how my skin looked great for like a week after my facial... but soon got nasty she recommended a acne fighting kit by MD formulations. I bought this acne kit that came with 3 products. This cleanser, a acne treatment gel, and a moisturizing spray. __________________________________________________________ The products together made my skin clearer and more radiant then it had been in a while, but did not completely remove all my acne and impurities. I found it really prevented me from getting new acne also __________________________________________________________ This gel can ony be applied if you arent going to wear makeup. Because of its consistancy, when it dries, like most acne fighting gels it comes off in like rubber balls if you try to rub product over it (thats why this kit came with a spray on moisturizer) so I sujest you put moisturizer on before this gel. ___________________________________________________________ This gel works best when used with other MD formulations products... I recommend this to people with mild acne.... not with skin like mine! ___________________________________________________________ But this packaging sucks!! Whenever I take off the lid the product comes squirting out because it is pretty thin in consistancy... therfore I waste really expensive product!

Cleansers -MD Formulations - Facial Cleanser

I bought this in a acne kit that came with 3 products. This cleanser, a acne treatment gel, and a moisturizing spray. The products together made my skin clearer and more radiant then it had been in a while, but did not completely remove all my acne and impurities. ___________________________________________________________ At first I thought this cleanser was okay.... but after not using it for a few weeks i noticed my face to be oiler, drier, unhydrated, and all my acne came back again. What I love about this cleanser, is that it cleans really well and balances out the oil in your skin... so about washing with it your face feels clean and smooth yet MOISTURIZIED! ___________________________________________________________ The kit I bought was 50$ CDN and all the containers were really small... which means I payed around 17$ for 60 mL BUT I think this is a great product that does everything a cleanser should do.

Loose Powders -Cover Girl - loose powder

This review I feel shoul be quite fair because I used up the whole jar thing already. I had mixed thoughts... at first i loved it (it was my first loose powder) then I hated it... Still HATE it... heres why: ___________________________________________________________ Packaging: The lid came off in my school bag like 5 thousand times already!! Why...... because its not a screw on lid! The powder goes all over the place when using it or just opening the container. ___________________________________________________________ Performance: Does not control shine..... makes me look dead... sits on top of my face and you can actually see that I'm wearing powder! Its seems like its on top of my skin.. not blended in. GROSS! Lasts for like 1 hour. It dosent work as a finishing powder, because if your foundation is looking perfect and you put this on overtop, your foundation now looks cakey and unnatural. ___________________________________________________________ Ladies, don't waste your money.
