$15 pot of the loveliest, most finely milled shimmery and opalescent metallic purple with blueish undertones silky dust. Whether mixing it with Nebula, wet or dry, applying it with my fingers or a brush this stuff is just wonderful and so pigmented. Fantastic value. Incredibly beautiful shade. Paired with Hard Candy's Eye Glider in Trauma, T&T's Herbal Glitter Pencil in Dark Purple /silver or Lulu Beauty Seattle e/s in Love Affair it is to die for and amazing on brown eyes.
Lip Gloss -Tony & Tina - Herbal Aromatherapy Lip Gloss in Cosmic Enchantress

Clear gloss base with multi-colored micro glitter. Initially found it too gritty and a bit numbing for my taste but I have warmed up to it. Alone or topping another gloss it is divine and subdued for a glitter gloss. Perfect with a smoky, glittery or sexy/drama eye. Paired with Too Faced *Who's Your Daddy* blush it is divine for evenings out.

Such a beautiful shade of loose powder e/s. Fuchsia pink with purple and blue shimmery undertones. I don't remember seeing anything like it in any other line. Amazing as e/s or liner...with just Dark Purple/Silver Herbal Glitter Pencil or combined with T&T's Universal Color Dust in Extraterrestrial. Great value. Seems this tiny jar will last forever as you only need a tiny bit. Wet or dry it is gorgeous on. Beautiful paired with Cosmic Lights in Higher Love, Bobbi Brown Lilac e/s and Hard Candy Eye Glider in Trauma.
Highlighters -Tony & Tina - Cosmic Lights in Higher Love (pale pink)

Lightly dusted on cleavage, lids, or hair this stuff is just brilliant. Beautiful mauvey pink fine glitter than has become a staple for evenings out. Great price, huge amount. looks so beautiful on. Another surprising discovery. Fun and so girly. Thanks M!
A shimmery purple/plum shade that goes on smooth and soft like a dream, does not migrate and makes my brown eyes pop. I even take them to inner upper lash line without a problem. I am so happy to finally discover Hard Candy after snubbing this line for years. These pencils are amazing, very affordable and the color is brilliant. Although the pencil is small compared to Tony & Tina Herbal Glitter pencils it is worth its price. Particularly love the added feature of a tiny brush at the opposite end. Soft bristles, perfect for smudging or applying something like Tony & Tina Universal Dust on the go.

It has taken me 36 years to become a glitter fan (Thanks M for recommending these to me!) This is the first glitter pencil I have ever used. The color (this shade is perfect on brown eyes and ultra sexy on green and blue)AND glitter stays on, does not scratch my eyes upon application and amazingly does not get into my eyes as I was initially afraid it would. Pencil has a sponge tip side and comes with its own sharpener. $18 but surprisingly worth it.
Pink with micro-glitter (think Lancome Juicy Tube in Miracle, even Delux Denton). Goes on a lot lighter that what it appears on the tube. Delicate and so much fun. Lovely and barely perceptible sweet taste. Wand tube is small, perfect for the tiniest of purses. And the box presentation and tub itself could not be any cuter. Purchased at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver.
Ultra fine, soft baby pink sparkly shimmer powder that comes in a small and ultra cute box with girlie garter, bow & powder puff. Pout suggests mixing this with foundation, moisturizer or body lotion. I just like applying this on cleavage, shoulders or face for evenings out. Sparkling and fun but very delicate and NEVER gaudy. Purchased at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver.
Beautiful pale lilac-pink creamy lip pencil that goes on like a dream yet is a barely there color that flushes nicely with my lips own natural shade. Perfect for your palest lip glosses and lipsticks. Wonderful combined with *Pout's Disco Girl lip gloss (pale pink with almosty invisible micro-glitter). Very demure and delicately feminine shade that makes lips look pouty and full. (*Also looks great with Delux Denton, Juicy Tube in Miracle, Club Monaco Brava, Borghese Fiore, T. LeClerc Candy, Helena Rubinstein Star Lilac and Tony & Tina's Cosmic Enchantress). Purchased at Holt Renfrew in Vancouver.
Created for L'Artisan Parfumeur by Jean-Claude Ellena of Frederic Malle Editions Des Parfums fame (Angeliques sous la Pluie and my favorite Cologne Bigarade and Bigarade Concentrée. Bois Farine was inspired (according to the beautifuly illustrated booklet that acompanies the 1.7 EDT Special Edition red satin coffret) by the Flour wood (Farine) flowers and markets of the island of Réunion. A blend of graines de fenouil, graines d'ambrette, iris blanc, bois de cèdre, benjoin, bois de santal and bois de gaïac. There is NO FARINA (Cream of Wheat) in Bois Farine. The Farine referred to here is the Farine *flower* that grows the island of Réunion.
This scent has to be the loveliest addition to the L'Artisan family of fragrances I've been lucky enough to experience in a VERY long time. Sampled at a L'Artisan preview in Paris last September, Farine is similar in feel to Jour De Fête only less play-doh "ish", bolder (sandalwood, cedar), more floral (white iris).
A warm porridge, a little woody (the cedar note is so restrained and subtle it does not bother me one bit), wheaty, nutty and milky sweet. Goodness in a bottle. Cashmere like. Delicate and feminine. Perfect for fall and winter evenings with a cup of tea or hot chocolate in hand, to wear on long city walks with fall leaves brushing your coat as you go by.
Much more longer lasting (ambrette)than Jour De Fête and a great altenative for Jour De Fête lovers that found it too subtle, too weak and ephemeral.
Lovers of People of the Labyrinth's Luctor et Emergo, Serge Lutens Rahät Loukhoum and Gabrielle Stehle Strenesse should give this one a go. I fell in love with it instantly. Available from first-in-fragrance.com and mkn.co.uk.

Fragrances -L'Artisan Fragrances - Premier Figuier Extrême

When I first saw the bottle of Premier Figuier Extrême I thought it would not be for me as the first figuier offering from L'Artisan had left me wishing for more. But this Extrême version is quite different from the original. Its better.
Take everything thats wonderful from the original Premier Figuier, add all the wonderful elements of Diptyque Philosykos, make it lasting and sensual and that is what you find in Premier Figuier Extrême.
I used to own the original Premier Figuier but found myself not reaching for it at all so I quickly swapped it away to someone that really loved it. Now, THIS one I can love. A white floral and fruit blend that showcases all the wonderful qualities richness of the fig tree. More intense and may I say BETTER than the original, this very feminine rendition will awaken your senses and just make you happy, happy.:-D
Top notes of Gorse bush flowers, bush peach and fig tree leaves with middle notes of almond milk, Fresh fig and Sandalwood with Base notes of Stone Pine, coconut milk and dried fruits.Utterly love. Its comforting, a bit sweet and milky fig without the coconutty quality of the original. VERY lasting on the skin. Makes me happy to get a whiff of it on myself from time to time. This is an Extrême for the ages. Once more with feeling. (not yet availabe in the US but according to the L'Artisan big honchos it should be available soon) Until then, I am making my bottle last. :-)
Its still Acqua Di Parma, only muskier. Wonderful scent. A little masculine upon first spray, then it dries down soft and comforting and lovely. According to the packaging it has more than 12 natural ingredients. A mix of citrus, spicy, floral and white woody notes. Essential oils of sweet orange, bitter orange, bergamot, verbena. Spicy cardamom, pink pepper and chilli pepper. Jasmine, rose, ylang ylang and wild orchid. Definitely musky. I've been very pleased with it. Lasts longer on the skin than the original formula. Less citric. More second skin. Makes more of a statement. Perfect for evening. Sensual. Modern. For men or women.
A very generous MUA'er recently shared Golconda w/me (how thoughtful was that!). Although Golconda, to my nose, lacks the warmth of Villoresi and the freshness of the Comme Des Garçons Red Series Carnation (my all tiem favorite), it is by far the best example of a fresh cut spicy Carnation out there. The price can make it out of reach to many but if you are looking for something truly speical then it will be worht the steep price tag to you. When you compare it to so many other perfumes in the market, the difference is not that far off, considering its exclusivity and high quality of ingredients and packaging. If you love Carnation scents, then you should at least give Golconda a try. and on your next trip to Paris, make JAR a stop on you calendar. Its the ultimate luxury, a truly sensual experience.
Wonderful Stella sent me a decant of this lovely scent and I'm so thankful for the opportuniy to discover this longed for fragrance. According to information found while browsing the web Eau De Patou, created by Jean Kerléo for the design house of Jean Patou launched Eau De Patou in 1976. A blend of clean and tangy citrus, Eau De Patou is perfect for those looking for clean fragrances without much musk or floral notes. Orange, lemon, honeysuckle, pepper, lavender, lime, ylang ylang, petit grain. Fresh hesperides. Slightly floral. Its clean without being soapy. Fresh without being sharp. Citrus without turning sour on the skin. Subtle, fresh, summery and absolutely wearable to work, daytime.
On my skin Eau De Patou goes on very mild and understated. Perhaps due in part to the fact that I am sampling this scent dabbed on the skin as opposed to spraying it from the bottle. Although as a general rule I prefer spray bottles to pour every time (not to mention to the vile roll-ons...I even prefer to decant samples to spray vials and transfer all roll-on decants to 4 ml spray vials) dabbed on is how I have experienced this fragrance for the first time. So I can't speak for those wearing this sprayed on. As far as I am concerned this is lovely. I shall decant the rest of the Eau De Patou to a spray vial and see how it differs on the skin and nose.
