I have combo skin, and this moisturizer is just too thick for me. I have dry area on my face but normal to oily in t-zone. This cream didn't work for me. It feels very thick and greasy on, and it just doesn't seem to sink in for hours. And i got a few cystic acne after i use this cream... i had not gotten cystic acne in months. Not sure if this is a major culprit or if it was the weather to blame... but I dare not put this cream on my face again. I can see this cream working wonderfully for super-dry skin type.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - All-In-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes
MakeUp4Fun 11/16/2010 11:57:00 AM
This remover takes off my face makeup very easily and gently. I do not use this near my eyes, however, because I'm used to using a separate remover for the eye area and these wipes sting when it gets too close to my eyes. It's fabulous to remove face makeup. I use this to travel and it works amazing! And I love that it doesn't require rinsing with water.
This product didn't do anything to my skin. It goes on like clear gel and gets absorbed quickly. It looks pretty with its little beads in the glass bottle with a nice pump. And that's all there is to it. I threw it away half way through the bottle because it was not an effective night serum.
Moisturizers -Alpha Hydrox - Enhanced Lotion - 10% AHA

This is constantly being compared to Acne.org's AHA+ treatment. I've used both and I find this one to be inferior to AHA+ treatment. This lotion is white and it stays white when you rub it on the skin. It takes time for it to sink in. And i don't see the results as fast as AHA+ treatment. I prefer AHA+ since it has licorice extract to lighten skin's pigmentations.
This is the best toner for me. It just WORKS whenever i use it. It gets rid of flakies and makes my skin smooth. It makes Retin-A absorb better as well. I can see the results within 1 week. I've been using this on and off for about 4 years, and I always came back to this and wondered why i swayed.
This product works. It stings but it works to exfoliate my skin, reduce appearance of scarring, and get rid of any flakies. But i cannot use it consistently because it stings and makes my skin itch for the first few mins i put it on, then it goes away.
Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear - Light to Natural

This product is quite useless IMO. It is not at all moisturizing. It goes on clear. It's like applying alcohol-base gel on my face. It disappears right off. I threw it away.
It took me almost 4 months to see the results. I had no purging since I didn't have cystic acne. I had problem with clogged pores. No purging, but my skin did flake. It wasn't constant flaking. It would severely flake for one day a week for about 4 weeks for me. I find that retin-a cream is quite emollient. I started seeing better result when I starting incorporating AHA into my routine. I like DDF 10% glycolic toner. It allows retin-a to penetrate better (according to MUA skincare board). I'm on the mildest dosage (0.025%) and intend to keep it that way since i'm only 26. I will increase the dosage to fight wrinkles when I'm older. Now my skin is just GLOWING and I've gotten compliments on my skin. It's still not perfect but i can't complain. I will update once my skin becomes flawless. UPDATE: (May 2011) I now have the best skin I've had since my teenage years. I'm 27 now. All my pores are unplugged. I use Peter Thomas Roth AHA BHA Acne Gel in the morning and Retin-A 0.025% at night. Very effective regimen for clogged skin.
This is a new formulation of "Water Sleeping Pack" and I read somewhere that the old version contains alcohol and this one doesn't. I don't see any alcohol in the ingredient list, and the package says it's oil-free and alcohol-free. I have oily skin but this doesn't make my skin greasy. My skin absorbs it well and stays moisturized. I always wake up with a nice dewy skin, not oily. Direction says to use 2 times a week but I use it more frequently. I use it as a moisturizer although it's meant as an overnight mask. To me, "overnight mask" is just a fancy name for a moisturizer. The fragrance is very pleasant. It is very soothing and supposed to be aroma therapy for night time. It's about $25 on sasa.com. I got mine from China Air in-flight shopping magazine for $22. One jar contains 80 ml or 2.7 oz of product. It's a very good deal IMO for such a nice product.
Moisturizers -Eucerin - Q10 Sensitive Skin Anti-Wrinkle Lotion SPF 15 (Face)

Very good lotion. I use this under my Shiseido sunblock. I wish it didn't come with SPF, or doesn't have oxybenzone as sunblock. But it doesn't interfere with my shiseido sunblock. I like that it is not greasy. It makes my skin very soft to the touch. It even makes my skin look dewy. It sinks into my skin very well but it doesn't disappear into the skin like a gel lotion. It hasn't corrected my fine lines after using for several months, and that's fine. I use this more as an anti-oxidant lotion. Q10 is supposed to be a potent antioxidant and is commonly found in asian skincare. I do recommend this as an everyday face lotion. Great budget buy!
I love the color. It's very dark brown with no shimmer. Looks almost black but not harsh like black. Very good for everyday use. I find it to be too creamy or wet to use it in a hurry. It does smear a little bit when I wing my eyeliner, but it definitely lasts longer than liquid eyeliners! I've used Bobbi Brown and Stila Smudgepots in the past and they dried up quickly. Whether MAC fluidlines dry up quickly remains to be seen since I only had it for over a month. So far it's still very creamy. In fact, too creamy. I like gel liners to be slightly more solid so I can use it in a hurry. EDIT: After 11 months of use, i have to say, it hasn't dried up and it's a bit less creamy -- very much to my liking! LOVE this! Better than bobbi brown and stila gel liners!
Treatments (Eye) -Neutrogena - Clinical Eye Lift Contouring Treatment

This is an eye cream duo that is nothing but disappointing. First of all, it's almost $40 for 0.17 oz of product. Well, you get a 0.17 tube of silicone-y gel and 0.17 oz of lotion in a pump bottle. But you have to use both items every time. So you're really getting that little of product. So for $40, this is very very expensive! A typical eyecream contains 0.5 oz of product. And onto the product.... The silicony gel is the first step and it feels like applying a gray silicone to my eye area, nothing more. Then second step is the lotion step that's supposed to "activate" the gel. But the problem is that it is not moisturizing or creamy at all. And i'm not seeing any results after a month of use. The package doesn't say to use at night or morning, so I use mostly at night, and sometimes in the morning as well. Lately, i find it to be drying to my eye area so I have to follow with my regular eye cream. And my eye area is normally NOT drying. I don't know what neutrogena is thinking to launch such an awful product, AND charging 40 bucks for it at the drugstores.
This eyecream is more light-weight than how I like an eyecream to be. So it's not very moisturizing and creamy. It has light reflecting sheen to it that is quite obvious and feels like a cosmetic product rather than skincare. It's like applying a sheer layer of silver cream under my eyes. It doesn't brighten my eyes unfortunately, and I always wear undereye concealer over this anyways. I don't think this eyecream does anything but to add some moisture around the eye area. I will not repurchase because its an average eyecream with a hefty price tag.
I think this is a FINE mascara. It lengthens and holds the curls like a waterproof mascara. And it does not smudge throughout the day, AND it's easy to remove... easier than most mascaras anyways. The color is quite black. The only thing i wish this mascara does is to provide more volume and fullness of my lashes. I have very sparse lashes and I love dramatic lash look. This is a really good everyday mascara.
Really amazing scrub and is gentle enough to use every day. The scrubbing beads are small and dense which is important in a good exfoliant. The color is a yellowy green. It smells good and feels good on my skin. Love it!!
