This is a stable US sunscreen that costs less than $10. For me, it stings MUCH LESS than Cetaphil SPF 15, plus has higher protection. The finish is similar to a moisturizer. To prevent hair sticking to my face, I use a dusting of loose powder. I think my skin looks better with this on than bare. Worth a try - for 10 bucks - if you don't like it, you can use it on your body and face.
Tinted Moisturizer -Perricone - Active Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

I got a sample of this from Sepora. It goes on smooth and hides redness. It looks like real skin! No flaking or balling. The package is a metal tube sort of like TBS Hemp Hand Cream or like some of those natural tootpastes. I imagine that the package keeps the product fresh. It would be HG material if it had a better sunscreen (or no sunscreen so you could apply one under it).
Tinted Moisturizer -Bobbi Brown - Tinted Moisturizer [REFORMULATED]

I really wanted to like this -- but it didn't sooth my dry patches enough. Also, it looked too much like foundation. I wanted something more sheer. Back to Sephora it goes -- maybe I'll try the BB tinted balm instead.
This is a heavy, sweet smelling cream that's great for dry skin. No irritation or breakouts. Not for normal or oily skin, thouogh.
This is a nice soothing cream. I wish it gave more moisture though.
This is a nice soothing cream. I've used it for a few weeks with no breakouts. I just wish it came in a pump.
Moisturizers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Perfecting Lotion with spf 15

I received a sample of this product. I tried it one time and tossed it. I couldn't rub it in very well so it gave me a pale green tint! Also, it is not very mositurizing. I do like the cleanser in this product line though.
Used this for the first time today. Smell is minty and fresh. Hair turned out clean (not stripped), soft and full of volume. Performs as well as FF Glossing shampoo -- and for less than 1/2 price! If this shampoo keeps working, it may be my new HG. **UPDATE 5/7** Still ove this stuff. Thanks MUAers for recomending!
Liquid -Revlon - Age Defying Light Makeup with Botafirm SPF30 [DISCONTINUED]
Lisa_Marie 3/12/2005 6:33:00 PM
I got this product in the lighest shade, skin brightener. It goes on smooth and provides adequate coverage on good skin days. The color is very pale with no light enhancers or shimmer. It leaves a natural, almost matte, finish. It also has SPF 30 (but most likely doesn't provide full UVA protection as the ZO content is only 2.1%). Does not add as much moisture as I'd like, and it is pricy (in the same range as dept. store foundations), hence minus one lippie. ***UPDATE 4/3/2005*** I think this product makes me a little too dry. Not recommend for very dry skinned gals (but overall still a great product). ***UPDATE 5/7/2005*** Now that it is getting warmer and my skin is less dry, this works better. Also, color "light" is much better than "skin brightener." It is far less orange-y.
Cleansers -Eucerin - Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser

This is a brand new cleanser for red, angry skin. I've just washed with it once and my irritation is already calming down! Product is a yellow gel. It only produces a slight foam, but seems to clean fairly well. Comes in a tube; would prefer a pump. Overall, product is great! **Update 4/2/2005** Still like this cleanser. Tried the night cream. It seems to irritate and make the red worse. Go figure!

This product completely covers and hides all redness. Color selection is great. Highly recommend.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Sensitive skin solutions - combination skin
Lisa_Marie 1/1/2005 4:35:00 PM
This product did not get my skin clean at all. Plus the package leaks and tends to collect water if left in the shower. Recommend Alpha Hydrox cleanser for sensitive skin.
This is such a pretty & light foundation. Feels like nothing while evening skintone. Minus one lippie for poor SPF formulation and high price. **Update 3/21/2005** After some use, I don't care for this. It sort of moves around and looks unnatural after a few hours wear. Down to 2 lippies. **Update 4/3/2005** I tossed my Traceless. Just doesn't agree with my skin. The Stila tinted mositurizer is much smoother on my very dry skin.
Moisturizers -Cetaphil - Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF15
Lisa_Marie 10/8/2004 9:15:00 AM
I love this product. Moisturizes my skin well, offers stable UVA/UVB protection, price is right, and doesn't seems to cause breakouts. I gave it a four out of five because there is a slight sting when you first apply. Also, would like to see a second formula w/ a higher SPF. I like SPF 15 for office days, but prefer higher protection when I'm going to spend time outdoors. **Update 4/3/2005** PSA This product stings if you have any facial irritation/redness. Will save for good skin days. Minus one more lippie down to three.
Cleansers -Dove - Essential Nutrients Cleansing Pillows
Lisa_Marie 8/16/2004 12:33:00 PM
I like the idea of the pillow; but didn't care for the heavy scent. Also found the pad a bit too rough - too much for my sensitive skin. Three lippies because I thik these would work well on oily or thick skin. Will use the rest of the pack to scrub my feet!
