This colored lip balm is probably the only lip product I will ever need for the rest of my life. Obviously I will buy more, but if I had only this, I'd still be happy. Definite HG status

This was awful for my oily skin, I saved the receipt and took it back to CVS for a refund.

I love this color, but it tends to smudge on me, giving me that weird half-moon beneath my brow. If I dab some eyeliner sealant from Aromaleigh on it, it pretty much stays put.
Eye Makeup Remover -Avon - Moisture effective Eye makeup remover

I got this for 99cents with a qualifying purchase, but I won't buy it again even at that price. It's gentle and moisturizing, but not perfect at removing my eye makeup. I'm still looking for my HG eye makeup remover, I think I'll just stick to olive oil!
Eye Shadow -Everyday Minerals - Ginger Peach Eye Shadow

I got this in one of the new free Try Me kits, and I'm glad I got it! It's a perfect neutral with shimmer to keep it from being boring. It's not very pigmented, so it doesn't make my blue eyes pop like Peach Tree does, but it's very subtle and pretty.
Moisturizers -Murad - Essential-C Day Moisture SPF 30

I got this as a free gift from Meg's Makeup so I thought I should write a review to say how nice this moisturizer is. First, I LOVE THE SCENT. The citrusy scent is perfect for a morning moisturizer since it's a nice little perk-me-up. This moisturizer is not heavy or greasy, blends in smoothly and doesn't leave me oily at all. I really worry about that with moisturizers since I'm naturally very very oily but this one just soaks in very nicely. Used in combination with the Active Radiance Serum and my face is smooth and soft.
I got this as a free gift from Meg's Makeup so I thought I should write a review to talk about how absolutely WONDERFUL this product is. It seems a bit sticky coming out of the pump, but dries smooth immediately. No residue! And it does not make my face sticky or oily. I'm VERY OILY so that was a big concern for me. Using this every morning has left my skin VERY soft and smooth. It's a huge difference! They don't interfere with my makeup at all either, so it's a win-win situation for me. I think it's also had a good effect on my complexion since I seem to be requiring much less foundation since I've started using it.
Powder -Everyday Minerals - Pressed powder in Golden Fair

I have the compact in the new plastic container. I can't seem to put this on evenly - if I use a kabuki brush I can't buff it out so I end up with a giant makeup patch on the initial spot where I placed the brush. If I use the sponge the makeup settles into my pores and fine lines, and then starts to separate as I get oily. Plus, the color is WAY off - it's very much lighter than Golden Fair loose. The compact container is really nice though. If you're looking for a mineral compact foundation, try Neutrogena Sheer Minerals. It's not as natural as EDM, but it looks really nice when applied. Or, press your own!
This doesn't show up very much on my pale skin, so I have to pile it on, and then it doesn't look very exciting.
This is a sweet baby pink with just a hint of sparkle. It looks gorgeous in the jar, but turns orange on my cheeks. Fail.
Loose Powders -Everyday Minerals - Natural Reflection Finishing Powder

I can't wear this on top of, or under, foundation like other people do because it REALLY gets cakey and makes me look like I've got a TON of foundation on. I wear it alone in place of foundation, and it gives great coverage, but since it's not a perfect match my face is a different color from my neck. I don't want to mix it in with my foundation because I'm afraid of the cakey-ness. I'm not sure this is even necessary since my moisturizer, primer, and foundation all have SPF in it. I quite like layering my SPF just in case I miss a spot, but not if it makes me look like I've spackled on my foundation. I give it a miss.
The new Try Me Free kits are a fantastic and ridiculously cheap way to add to your collection or to try new eyeshadows, blushes, or concealers. You can order as many as you want (but only one at a time) and pay only shipping (which is cheaper than the old Free Sample Kits, for some reason). The Try Me kits are supposed to change every month, so there should always be a new rotation of colors to get for free. These new kits are not-so-great for customers who are trying to find their base though, because the colors are pre-selected and in very strange groupings. For example, Fawn is a golden yellow shade that is included in the Ivory kit, and the Tan kit has medium colors. The base formulations are already pre-selected too, which REALLY sucks for new customers since there are shade variations between the formulas. I know I never would have tried EDM if this were the system in place when I first tried it - my shade isn't included in the kits, and I needed several samples to find which color in what formula worked for me. But since I do know my shade, I can just stockpile more sample sizes that will last forever.
I've been really excited about a shimmery black shadow...but this isn't it. It's just black. The consistency is nice, and it applies very smoothly, but my container has no shimmer. I'm very disappointed.
Really bad - the balm has a nice color, but it's hard and grainy and doesn't slick on at all. I had to tug it across my lips to get any color on, and then I had to pick off the grainy part from my lips. It was difficult to open, too, since the label covered the cap and the label is almost like a security device, it's so cumbersome to remove. I am NOT impressed at all. It's pretty much useless to me.
I am not a fan of this product. It covered my red spots just fine, and when lightly dusted across my nose and cheeks it gave me a smooth even color But the next day the areas where I used Mint Concealer were covered with angry red bumps. I don't think it was a coincidence, so I've never tried it again.
