Concealers -Chanel - Eclat Lumiere Highlighting Face Pen

The trick with this item is knowing how to use this pen for the best results. I used to think it's to highlight your facial features, but there's so much more to this! I had a makeup session with a Chanel makeup artist and she used this to cover undereye circles. When she was done, omg, I looked like I had just woken up from a 10 hour restful sleep. And here we were on a Friday evening, after a long work week, and I looked so healthy and rested. She said that when people have extremely dark circles (like me), this pen is great for neutralizing undereye circles first, then applying concealer over it. I was so impressed with the results, that I bought this pen. I couldn't be happier, it offers good coverage without being sheer and is thicker than the Dior Skinflash or YSL, it has great consisency and easier to blend than the other brands I've tried. It's too bad we can't see how much product is left in the pen, however, this product lasts a long time. I have medium to very light olive skin, and I use the Rose Beige. I wouldn't use it on its own, since it's not concealing enough for my very dark circles, but as a neutralizer under my concealer, it's a home run! I'm so glad I discovered the best way to use this product.

Hair Styling Tools -Conair - Infiniti You Curl No Clamp Curling Iron

It's a 50/50 toss up at how my curls come out with this iron. First off, I hate the glove it came with, it's too big and had only 3 fingers. I threw it away, since it was useless. As for the curling iron itself, either my curls come out gorgeous or only the part of the strand is curled and the end of my hair strand is straight or wavy or something close to a wave. I expressed some frustration over this, and I don't understand how everyone here is saying their curls are coming out beautiful, most of the time, it doesn't curl my hair properly at all. Before losing all hope, I'm going to purchase a proper heat resistant glove and try curling my hair with the help of the glove and report back. I hope I get good results. I'll post more later.

I am pleasantly surprised by this spray, I've been using this for 2 weeks. I agree that you can't spray on too much, otherwise it will make your hair greasy. But 2 pumps over my thick coarse shoulder length hair is exactly what I need. It successfully tames flyaways and adds shine. This is perfect for spraying on, after I blow dry my hair, and just want something light to smooth out my hair. I spray this on and the trick is to run my hands through my hair afterwards, to smooth the cuticle, add shine, and make my hair smell great. It gets rid of my flyaways and reduces the frizz so well that I can't live without this product now. It's a must have if you blow dry your hair and make your hair look sleek. At $2.99 for this bottle, it's a great buy and I will definitely repurchase! I'll post about this in a few weeks, and see if I like it as much. Post: 9/2/11: I love this spray! Ever since I've been using it, I've been getting compliments left and right, at how shiny and healthy my hair looks! It tames fly-aways and makes my hair look so sleek, like the salon look. I use this everyday and can't rave enough it. It's one of my fave must haves!!

Lip Gloss -MAC - Deelight

This is such a beautiful color! I almost didn't buy it. I'm also surprised this isn't reviewed more. I wear this on its own, since it's exactly the same color as my natural lip color, but a tad darker and shinnier. The MAC Cremesheens are my favorite glosses, they aren't sticky, but very creamy and glossy. It's such a beautiful pink color, that I just wear lipliner in (MAC) Barely There, and add this to my lips. The gloss has good staying power, and it's perfect for my dark hair/green eyes/light tan color skin. The pink brings out the green in my eyes, and the brown in my hair. It's my go to lipgloss. I couldn't be happier, with this natural finish.

What a terrific gel liner, that's creamy, goes on smooth, doesn't smudge or budge all day long! Seriously, a fabulous find! I've had this for months and the product in the jar hasn't dried out. I bought this in the brown color and I'm going back to Target to get all the other available colors. I couldn't be more pleased. It's as good, if not better than the Bobbi Brown or MAC gel liners. Must have in your makeup arsenal! Trust me on this one!

Cleansers -Cerave - Hydrating Cleanser

Wow, this is a home run when it comes to cleansers!! It comes in an easy to dispense pump. It is so gentle, yet effectively removes my makeup, but you must use a sponge or a washcloth to help remove your makeup. I use it around my eyes, it doesn't sting or burn at all. It has no smell whatsoever, and the product feels like a lotion. I do need to remove my eye makeup with an eye makeup remove before, but finish cleaning the rest of my face with this cleanser. And most importantly, it actually does hydrate my skin after I use it. It's the best cleanser in my opinion. I will definitely repurchase. I love Cerave products, as I think they're formulated by dermatologists, and the ingredients in every Cerave product is truly fantastic, and this product is no exception!!

This product really didn't do it for me, and stung the skin around my eyes like crazy! I hate the fact it comes in a jar, where my fingers are going into the jar, and possibly bacteria getting into the product. Not very hygenic. And it didn't really moisturize really, just felt waxy and like a film that sat on top of my skin. I woke up the next day and I had wrinkles, where I don't have any. This dried out my skin like crazy and I will not be repurchasing this. Save your money for something else.

I have to say that Yankee Candles are very expensive, but this candle is worth every penny! I can't get enough of the scent, it's like having crisp apples everywhere in my home. Whenever I light it up, this wonderful subtle yet delicious apple scent travels through my apartment. It's so fresh, not overwhealming but just right. I bought this scent thanks to the reviews on MUA and I couldn't be any happier. I will always have this scent, which has now become a fave of mine!! Thank you MUA for this fabulous recommendation!!

Blush -NARS - Orgasm Blush

I don't know why this blush gets such high ratings. It's very orange and I can't even wear it to work, since it has glitter or sparkles in it, making my pores look huge and making them stand out. I never understood the point of the sparkles in a blush?? I tried wearing it to work a few times and got comments from everyone that I had sparkles on my face. And I really didn't apply much to begin with. I mean, if I can't wear to work, when can I wear it? The notion of sparkles in a blush is just so bizarre for me.. I'd much rather go with a blush that doesn't have glitter. We're not teens anymore to need sparkles in our makeup.

I am quite pleased with this product! It comes in a pump and smells soooo good! The consistency is creamy and white in color. I was looking for a great smelling leave in conditioner I could use every day and finally found it!! I apply this on damp hair and am careful not to overdo it. If it gets greasy, then it means you have applied too much. So after applying 2 pumps to medium length damp hair, I blow dried my hair and my hair came out so soft and silky, and the lovely smell lingered in my hair. Usually, this doesn't happen with other products, but this time the smell remained. I also use 1 pump on dry hair to tame the flyaways and this cream does a fabulous job and makes my hair smell so good! Also, sometimes, I use 1 pump and massage into my dry ends. Overall, very pleased.

I bought this at CVS for $4.99 in the dark brown color, it's by Irene Gari. It comes in a thin mascara like tube. They had 3 shades. Black, Dark Brown and Medium Brown. So far I'm liking this a lot! It has 2 sides, one is a masacara to apply the color on your hair and the other side is a spongelike wand. I prefer the spongelike wand, as I have a few grays here and there to cover. I assume the mascara would be for clumps of gray that you can brush the color onto. It doesn't leave your hair stiff or clumpy. I'm very pleased with this product. It doesn't rub off on hands and dries quickly. I'll post more later in time to see if it has great staying power.

Great powder brush for only $19.99 at Target! The bristles are soft and silky. The brush is big enough to pick up enough powder and distribute on your face. Great quality, doesn't shed and is so affordable. It's as good than the expensive brushes out there like MAC, Smashbox, etc. I use this brush to help set my foundation by applying loose powder on my face. The key is to use vertical strokes, and to mostly stroke downwards to avoid the fine hair on your face from going in all sorts of directions. Overall, a definite winner!

Thank you MUA who recommended this item. It's totally awesome!!!When I first took it out of the package, it felt rough and I had doubts of whether I'd like it. But once I wet it and lathered with body wash, this is outstanding!! I added body wash to the bath towel by bunching it up like loofah and lathering the entire thing. I noticed it wasn't as rough, but just enough to gently exfoliate your skin. I got out of the shower and had the smoothest skin ever! It also rinses off so well and dries off so quickly. I instantly fell in love. It's also long enough to get your back area, and I had an occasional pimple or 2 on my back and now those are gone too. I'm so impressed with this product, that I can't thank MUA enough for this product!!! Thank you!!!

Add me to the list of people who are so happy with this primer. It comes in a pump, which makes it hygenic. A little primer goes a long way. It has SPF and glides on smooth. Feels like the smashbox primer, but at a fraction of the price. I was talking to the salesperson, and they said that very little primer is needed actually to hold your makeup in place. She said some people pile on the primer, which is a big mistake. Very little, goes a looooong way. And it truly does for me too, one pump is enough to cover my entire face, and neck. Doesn't cause flaking like other primers do, and my makeup lasts 8+ hours with this. Will definitely repurchase this!
