Got this and the original dream matte mousse at ulta's when they were having b1g1 free. Overall I do agree there is nothing mousse like about this foundation. Also considering the packaging you don't really get alot, however I have had this for a few months and this has lasted and I still have a lot left. Coverage wise I'd say this was medium, meaning it does a good job on redness but you will still need a concealer for any darker spots you may have. i would repurchase, but I am interested in trying the revlon clorstay next. ***Note*** I have this in110 porcelain ivory for referance.
This is a decent foundation for a drugstore product. It has medium coverage and it's texture is better then what I had originally thought. I got this in Light 2, or classic ivory. I do need to watch it in the corner of my nose as it does accentuate dryness and looks weird but I think any foundation would do that. I would buy this again, although next I am looking to try out the revlon colorstay foundation.* update* my skin is getting drier as I get older and as a result this looks very cakey and flakey.Recommend maybelline dream matte smooth instead, great coverage, and looks natural on.
This is just meh. I bought this and the orange tubed lash blast for comparison and I just gotta say the orange tube is so much better. This is just average but the last blast volume deserves its hype, overall in the future I would skip this and go for the original orange tube which has become an hg product for me.
Primer/ Corrector -L'Oreal - Studio Secrets Magic Perfecting Base

Totally on the fence with this one, as it is my first and I have nothing to compare it to. What I can say is that does apply smoothly and I see my foundation covering slightly better, with less emphasis on my dry spot that I try to hide. However considering this is a drugstore product this is rather pricey considering the size of the jar. I know that everyone always whines that products in tubs or jars are not hygenic but as long as your hands are washed and cleaned I don't see a problem. Overall this product is worth a shot but I would like to see what else is out there in terms of facial primers.
Cleansers -Clinique - Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm
KaiteKins 12/21/2010 11:10:00 PM
This stuff is amazing. It gets off even the hardest waterproof mascara with ease and is moisturizing to boot. It is sooooo much better then the take off the day eye makeup remover which is just overpriced babyoil. This stuff is a bit pricey but totally worht it.
Lip Treatments -eos - Lip Balm Sphere - Summer Fruit
KaiteKins 12/21/2010 12:38:00 AM
I got this after all the hype from the youtube beauty gurus. I got it at my ulta's for just over $3.00. Overall the packaging is very unique, functional but not very attractive to me. The scent is great, fruity and summery and one of the reasons i would buy again. In terms of quality of the balm itself it is no better then say burts bees, but the scent is why I would buy this again as I love it.
Lip Treatments -Smith's Rosebud Salve - Smith's Rosebud Salve
KaiteKins 12/21/2010 12:28:00 AM
I do like this. I got it for $6.00 at sephora's after hearing all the hype. I agree that it is essentially vaseline with a rose scent, however I really like the rose scent. It is very gooey, and since i live in a cold climate I am okay with that. I want to like the tin as well, however, it can be a pain in the butt to open. I think though this is a good thing too have for the winter and would recommend.
Eye Makeup Remover -Clinique - Take The Day Off Eye Makeup Remover

Got a sample of this when I placed my last order online. Overall this reminds me of really expensive baby oil. I really like the take the day off cleansing balm but this is kinda gross. It's a good thing i got this as a sample and didn't buy it because I would have been dissapointed.
Let me begin by saying thet I HATE THE SMELL OF COCONUT. That said I do like coconut lime verbena because the smell of the coconut is covered up. This reminds me of clv alot only maybe minus the lime. It is very nice and totally not what I expected. It is part of the new Island Resort collection being offered in febuary and I must be honest I have all three preview scents and there is not one bad one in the line.
Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Fiji Passionfruit
KaiteKins 12/21/2010 12:07:00 AM
I remember when I first started getting into bath and body works scent in 2006 there was a tropical passionfruit scent that was discontinued maybe a year or two later. I did really like that scent and am happy to say this is the same scent reincarnated. Along with Bali Mango and Hawaii Cocoanut this is part of the new island resort collection, which will be offered in febuary. Those that don't believe me about this being a reissue should check out the tropical passionfruit hand soaps that are offered because that is the only items left from the old line. Overall this is a nice scent, although I see myself using it more in the summer then the winter.
Got this today as they are previewing the Island Resort collection, of which this is a part of. Some have compared this to the soon to be discontinued mango mandarin however this is a sweeter, more single noted scent. I personally love this and the entire line as well and can't wait to get the full line when it comes out in late jan./ febuary. P.S. This is definatley the most unique scent from the line.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Snow Kissed Berry
KaiteKins 12/3/2010 12:39:00 AM
This is just meh to me. It reminds me of a cross between the berry vanilla and last years yultide pear vanilla they had for the holidays. Don't hate it but would not repurchase because there are better scents out there, although the cream itself was quite nice and moisturizing.

This is just meh to me. It is a total cross between berry vanilla and the yultide pear vanilla from last years holiday collection. Those that loved the pear vanilla from last year will totally love this.
Lipstick -Clinique - Different Lipstick - Tenderheart

Got this GWP and it made the GWP experiance worth it. It is a perfecct reddish/brown for everyday use. It appears just a few shades darker then my natural lip color. Will reprchase if I run out.
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Duo in Strawberry Fudge
KaiteKins 10/5/2010 1:13:00 AM
Love this for everyday. The pink is a soft, natural looking color, the brown is a nice chocolate, good for my crease and outer corner. When blended together they make a lovely natural look for every day. Would totally buy again, despite its outragous price.
