3 words: Green Eyes Pop :)
Did I need this? No...like many members I've got a huge collection of brushes (MAC, LM, BB, Px, etc). Recently, everything red has been calling my name (ie Lola's on the run brush set)...so I HAD to get this one, too! LOVE it!!! Bonus: Red case also has room for cosmetics while holding the brushes.
I'll only add my 2¢ here since "Dolcevita" and many others have done a terrific job already. I enjoy it and my DH loves it. BTW I purchased Allure Homme for him and I LOVE it!
Tools -Lippmann Collection - Smooth Operator nail buffer

I agree with Leighmelton on almost everything, except that this is actually HG for me. I've always been "file-challenged" when doing my own manicures. If I get them close to the shape I want, they're snagging on everything. I owned & used Tweezerman's version for years and loved it for the buffing, but still couldn't shape my nails. For $11 (the cost of a basic manicure), I purchased this to try and am glad I did. I can shape, buff, smooth and shine to PERFECTION with this flexible gizmo. Unsure of how it will "wash up", so I bought a back-up one for when the time comes...OPI, seche vite, lotion, scrub brush and Smooth Operator are all I need for a great manicure...take SO out that equation and I wouldn't bother trying.
This is currently my favorite mascara as it doesn't smudge on me and most importantly, NO CLUMPING. When everything is going "right", I couldn't ask for a better mascara for daytime wear. However, my eyelashes are really hard to manage (ie curl...I sleep with my face pushed into my pillow...lashes get all tweaked out) and this mascara has often taken the curl out of my freshly curled lashes...hope that makes some sense! Overall, good on a great day, so-so on a bad one.
After reading the reviews here, I purchased tough buffer #11 for my feet ($48...ouch); tough guy #3 for my nails ($30, what was I thinking???); and smoothie #5 for rough skin near fingernails ($38 and worth every penny...smooths without extracting pain or blood). I'm actually glad to have all 3, but #11 is more for maintenance. I love "bare-footin'" too much...3/4 of the year in SoCal...so I NEED my Tweezerman Pedro ($18) to do the actual work on the bottom of my feet!
Every day my LM travel-sized blush brush rests beside my MAC 129...both are great quality brushes...I consistently pick up my MAC 129 because it is slightly fuller and noticeably softer.
Purchased the little bag from Beautyscene.com in the middle of the night after reading all the raves...same night, I ordered the large bag from Adorebeauty.com (in stock & received surprisingly fast from Australia w/no problems). Cute, functional, and easy to keep clean!
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 224 Tapered Blending (Windshield Wiper) Brush

I originally bought this to use in my crease area (does a good job), but found its best application is for all-over...so I bought a second so that I can use one for lighter colors and the other for darker colors. Great quality MAC brush as always.
I've finally gone through a bottle maintaining my brush collection. Restores brushes to like-new quality...shape, texture, and color...no damage, just clean, clean, clean!
Makeup Brushes -MAC - 266 Thin Small Angle (Synthetic hair)

#266 is part of my brush collection...I have 5 different brushes to choose from for lining my eyes, this one does the job great, but I've been picking up my MAC 219 more often since buying it (219).
Luckily, by the time I get around to writing a review, many wonderful MUAers have already done a great job of describing/reviewing the product. So, I'll just nod in agreement and add that as a LM blush ivory/MAC NW 20 that linen works as a highlighter base & "cooler" look; buff is slightly darker than my skin, blends well for "warmer" looks. Makes all my MAC, BB, & LM eyeshadows last and last!
Great brush...does all that has been described below. I've also used it with BB gel eyeliners on bottom rim and to "push" the gel into my upper-eyelashes (gently lifting lid to get proper angle). Works and washes very well!!!
Moisturizers -La Mer - Creme de la mer moisturizer
HvnFunWthMU 7/30/2003 10:29:00 PM
On my 2nd bottle (with a 3rd "in stock"). I have dehydrated (a/c 24 hrs; not enough fluids), combo skin that leans toward being oily. I loved this stuff during the cooler months and thought I'd have to put it away during the summer. Well, it's almost August and I'm still using it. My DH says I wake up with a glow (I use it at night only). However, CDLM doesn't "recondition" the skin. Stop using the product, no lasting effect :( *****01/24/04*****Update: After using this product for over a year, I still rate it highly, but I do not use it every night due to milla under the eyes (which MD Forte is very effective in getting rid of :)...My mom is the happy new owner of my 3rd bottle & she is thrilled. I'm happy to use what I have to "treat" my skin when it needs a little extra TLC (ie dullness, broken skin*****my skin honestly HEALS faster with CDLM...I won't be without it!) ME: 35 MOM: 57
Even with my newly adopted skin regimen thanks to MUA members, I still get shiny by noon, if not sooner. No problem...this is THE BEST powder for absorbing the oilies WITHOUT caking. HG stuff, for sure. I apply with a soft brush (loving BB's face brush) and I finish the day shine-free!!
