Lovely cold pink, with tiny silver flecks which add complexity to this colour. The pink doesn't look too girly, it looks very elegant so can be worn any time. This is another colour I tend to get a lot of compliments for. It lasts very well and is excellent quality. Essence polishes are free of the 3 bad ingredients and Essence cosmetics are not tested on animals. Amazing value for money, better quality than most more expensive or even premium brands.

This has to be one of the prettiest nail polishes and a lot has been said about it already. Very subtle purple (lavender) holo polish. The polish effect is very subtle and is only clearly visible in direct sun light or under artificial light. Indoors it looks like a very pretty but classy purple polish. I received a lot lot of compliments from colleagues for this polish. I needed 3 costs for it to be completely opaque and to show off the holo effect, but since the colour is to pretty am not too bothered about this.

Very pretty orange colour. great for spring or summer. The colour on my nail looks a touch darker though, than it appears in the bottle. The colour is what I would describe as a "good mood colour". The brush is very good, it is opaque after two coats and lasted for 3-4 days without any chipping or tip wear. Excellent quality and great value for money. Much better quality than more expensive brands or even premium brands. Essence polishes are free of the bad three ingredients and all Essence cosmetics are not tested on animals.

This has to be the best polish ever :-), in terms of lasting power, quality, complexity of colour, value for money and last but not least all Essence products are not tested on animals and are free of the 3 bad ingredients. This polish lasted 5 days without any tip wear or chipping at all. After 5 days it still looked like freshly applied. I am very strict when it comes to quality and this polish is fantastic. A friend gave me this polish as a present for my birthday. I am not into into wearing blue on my nails at all. But the colour is unusual and complex. The polish consists of 2 colours. One colour is called midnight date which is a lovely dark blue. The base colour is a dark blue gel, with very subtle tiny green and blue glass flecks which give the polish a nice depth. This polish is stunning enough to be worn on its own. It is opaque after one coat. The other colour is called city that never sleeps and has got green flakies (yes flakies !!) suspended in a dark blue gel. If you layer "city that never sleeps" over "midnight" date you get the most complex and stunning polish ever, but at the same time it is quite subtle as well (subtle enough to be worn into the office). This polish looks incredibly classy. I also love the packaging, very pretty.

Gorgeous colour, but that's about it. On the bottle it claims to last: "up to 10 days". After just a couple of hrs there was clearly visible tip wear and it started to chip on some nails on the 1st day. Very disappointing. I rated this product as expensive, as relative to its poor quality, it is expensive, Complete waste of money. The positive reviews for the Rimmel polishes, have probably been written by their marketing team to sell more of their products.

Very disappointed with this polish. Clearly visible tip wear just after a couple hours on almost every nail. started to chip on the first day as well. Rimmel polishes in general are not very good quality. The claim on the bottle says:" Up to 5 days", well it lasted less than 5 hrs. I rated this polish as expensive, cos relative to its poor quality, this polish is expensive. Don't waste you money on this product. The positive reviews for Rimmel Lycra Wear have probably been written by the Rimmel Marketing team to sell more of their products.

Really difficult to apply, very streaky. Tip wear after a couple of hours. I rated this product as expensive, given its poor quality. Relative to its poor quality this product is too expensive. Colour looks pretty in the bottle, but is more orange once applied. Overall very disappointing.

Tip wear after a couple of hours. Very disappointing. This product is clearly not fir for purpose. Claims to last for up to 10 days....lasted not even 10hrs, and I didn't do anything that could have challenged the lasting power of this nail polish. Don't waste your money on this polish,there are a polishes around which are cheaper and much better quality. I rated this product as expensive, as relative too its poor quality it is expensive. Even £1 would be too expensive for this polish. Looks like the other reviews have been written by the Rimmel Marketing team.

Very disappointed with this product. It sits on your skin like grease and does not sink in. No moisturising effect at all and I very patiently used it for a couple of weeks. Based on the poor performance of the product I find it expensive. It is a complete waste of money. Nice smell but the smell is just a marketing gimmick. Plus the Body Shop now test on animals through L'oreal which owns the Body Shop.

I have got a couple of these as I liked the concept and the smell. Unfortunately they have no moisturising effect whatsoever. The body butter just sits on you skin like grease and doesn't sink in. I have used it for a couple of weeks with no effect on my skin whatsoever. I am very disappointed with this product and would recommend it to nobody. Don't waste your money. Since the Body Shop has been sold to L'oreal the quality of their products has steadily gone down. Plus they now test on animals via L'oreal!

Polishes -Essence - Nail Polish

I absolutely love everything about these polishes. Until recently I wasn't mad about Essence, but they have massively increased the quality of their polishes and from my experience now beat most of the expensive premium polishes. They stay on my nails for a long time now and go for days without chipping or tip wear :-). Not tested on animals and free of the bad 3 ingredients so they don't damage your nails like many other polishes do. The colour range is fantastic, especially their toppers ( flakies, glitters, holos, crackles, mattes etc). Their products are very innovative and keep on getting better and better, They last a long time and are much better quality than most more expensive premium brands (this wasn't the case a couple of years ago but they have increased their quality massively). Essence nail polishes beat Chanel, OPI, China Glaze by a mile.

A very good dupe for Zoya Charla. Stunning colour. Great wide brush which makes applying it very easy.Dries very quickly and lasts better than most more expensive polishes.

Polishes -Essence - Sweet as Candy

I am surprised how much I love this colour. Great for everyday in the office. The colour is a very nice milky pink which adds just a manicured shine. It gives the nail a healthy shine. It is not an opaque colour. Dries quickly, easy application and superb value for money.
