Cleansers -Neutrogena - Deep Clean Long-Last Shine Control Cleanser/Mask

It did absolutely nothing for me! The shine came back like it always does, around the same time. It didn't really clean my face, and the mask felt like it was just sitting there and doing absolutely nothing.

Didn't work very well for me, but my friend loves it. It helped clear up her acne and it really made her face much smoother, and less red and irritated. For me, it just left my skin bare, and ugly feeling. I hated it, she loved it.
I like this much, MUCH better than the original. I prefer big, natural brushes. None of this silicone brush, spiky ended crap! Give me a traditional brush any day. I have no problems maneuvering this brush. In fact, when it comes to these kind of brushes, I like big over small. That's because I just seem to get more volume and a wider, more innocent, prettier look with bigger brushes. Maybe that's just me. I like this mascara occasionally. It's not my everyday mascara, and definitely not HG material.
Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Tinted Lip Balm - Tiger Lily

Unlike the Rose, from the same collection, this has no color payoff for me. It was just a slick chapstick. I did want some color, especially because the Rose fit me so perfectly. The best my lips but better look with that one. This is banished to nighttime beauty treatments.
Eyeliner -Milani - Liquif'eye Metallic eye liner pencil -black

I LOVE this stuff. It's the only thing that actually stays on my waterline. Yes, it's annoying how the dang thing needs to be sharpened almost every time you use it. And it's very, very soft and very smudgy. I'd also never use this on my top eyelid. I did once, and though it held up, it was messy. I always draw a cat eye, or a swoop at the end of my eye, and this had just dulled too much to make a nice, sharp edge. Waterline is where it belongs, which is fine by me. HG for that. Deep, true black. Absolutely perfect.
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Matte Shadow - Pink Innocence (003)

A very girly and frilly color. But very poorly pigmented. This is the most disappointing of the bunch. It's sad, because it had promise to be a nice, light pink lid color, but sadly, it is not so!
Eye Shadow -Revlon - Matte Eyeshadow - Venetian Blue (0050)
DollParts7 7/13/2011 1:00:00 PM
VERY bright and VERY pigmented. This is the odd shadow out in this matte collection. While the rest are dull, either too girly/lacy, or dark and brooding, this one is a POP of color. I wore it to school one day and I stood out like a sore thumb. It's very pretty, but it's just TOO intense for day wear. Focus on wearing this at night, or as a halloween shadow. Or just on days where you want a LITTLE pop. Don't pour this on your entire lid, it'll be too much. Use a light blue, maybe periwinkle as a lid color, a cream color eyebrow bone highlight, and this as a crease color, made into a dramatic V, very lightly.
Like I said before, this color is very similar to the navy and forest green colors of the same collection. However, it's still rather pretty when it's buffed out a bit, same as the others. It would be very harsh, and almost bruise like if you apply it straight like it was, and pack it. It would also be a bit chalky, and rather hard to blend. I'm not a big fan of this one, it's rather boring, and I don't like purples too much, as they do tend to look like bruises on me.

I found that this color and Aubergine were very similar. Also, the dark green seemed very close as well. I don't know if they just wanted the mattes to be a little darker, or mainly for shadow lining, or what, but they were almost identical. I would use this with some brighter blues as a nice smokey eye without the black. However, I'd probably use it as a liner, and then buff it out into the crease, to make it a tad lighter.

I don't really have much use for this color. It is very nice, and very pretty, natural and feminine, but I have a million of them. Not original, but it was cheap, and it's a good backup.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Gentle Mineral Eyeliner
DollParts7 7/13/2011 12:50:00 PM
Too messy. The brush was too soft and flimsy, and because it was attached to the cap, it was hard to move. The cap was too wide, and the brush was too small. You couldn't sweep the eyeliner on, and had to pat it, or you'd get fallout ALL over your face, and you'd look like you were just digging for coal. Dark, and black, but it could be much blacker. I'd only use it to set very runny or smudgy eyeliner pencils, or as a black shadow. Sadly, it's just too loose. If it came wet, or as a liquid, perhaps in a pressed pan with a separate brush, it would be MUCH better. Cake eyeliner anyone? But, it went a different route, and ended up being a disappointment. It did have potential though.
Well, natural sure is right! It defines my eyelashes just enough. No real volume, or length. Just bare bones, separation and softness. It gives decent color, and kind of holds a curl. For the money though, not that great.
Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Naturale Mineral Concealer
DollParts7 7/13/2011 12:46:00 PM
Not a big fan of this. I don't like powder concealers, or powder foundations, for that matter. I just think it looks bad on my skin. It works well to set my concealer, but not under my eye or around my nose. Really, it's kind of useless. I do use it as an inner corner highlight sometimes, when I don't want to go for all white. And for specific spot coverage on my neck or shoulders, or chest.
Soft Rose is an amazing color on me. Me and my mom used to share it. It worked well on her tan skin, and my fair skin both. I looked so pretty wearing it. I haven't been able to find it for anything under 15 dollars lately, and I don't want to spend that much of one product. The packaging is something I HATE. It's just bulky. The brush is pretty bad and I just wish I got only the product, not the extra bells and whistles. Come on, bare is beautiful. Leave all that extra crap behind!

I've had two of these in the past. Gold and black. Do NOT expect them to be pure colors. They are very sheer, and VERY sparkly. I didn't want a sparkly gray, but that's what I got when I bought the black. The gold was very pretty, however. It sheered out pretty and the sparkle was less obvious. The packaging is stupid, flimsy, bulky, and UGLY all at the same time. It gives me a headache. I just get annoyed.
