Skincare - Face -Laneige - Multiberry Yoghurt Peeling Gel
Dimanta 11/9/2012 4:04:00 AM
I was looking for Strawberry Yogurt Peeling Gel based on all the great reviews, however saw only Multiberry line at Sephora in Shanghai. I think Strawberry line is discontinued and replaced with Multiberry. Pros: - Nice yogurty scent - Feels clean and smooth - Clears the pores pretty well - Skin looks really clean and fresh, flakiness gone Cons: - Expensive (about $32.00 at store, however can get for $23 online) - Does not do any peeling, it's only light, gentle exfoliator Somone who is looking for stronger peeling gel, I would not suggest this. I like this product but would never purchase it for it's full price, only discount.

Cleansers -Laneige - Multi-Cleanser
Dimanta 11/8/2012 10:10:00 AM
I was skeptical that it could remove make up but was surprised that it did - and very fast. I love the fact that you have to use only very, very small amount (less than a pea size) and it foams right away. It also has slight nice, citrusy scent that I like. However, it's drying too much, it's even hard to rinse it off how stiff my skin feels (like someone mentioned - I got that squeaky clean feeling). My face feels very tight and dry afterwards. Make sure you use good toner and moisturizer after cleansing your skin. Pros: - Cleanses very well and fast (also removes make-up) - Has light citrusy scent - love it - Does not break me out - Leaves skin very, very clean, pores smaller than before - Next day skin still feels cleans and fresh, not oily either Cons: - Can be very drying (can be fixed with moisturizer) - Price is high: $34.00 at Sephora in Shanghai (however I got mine for US$23.00 on sasa.com website, free shipping if order more) - Careful, avoid eye area

I used this product about 4 years ago and absolutely loved it. At that time I had acne-prone skin and this gel was amazing. It's very light, smells nice, does not cost a lot and really, really helps.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Smooth Intense Shampoo
Dimanta 11/7/2012 2:54:00 PM
Great shampoo, great price and does the job well. I got it for about $3.20 in Shanghai, China. Could not understand any ingredients, any name but based on look from the bottle - it's Smooth Intense Shampoo. Anyways, I love the fact it foams right away, and a lot. I love that my hair feels so smooth and they are not tangled, so easy to brush afterwards. However, I know L'oreal brand uses SLS (sulfatres) in mostly all hair products, so I will see how it goes and update later.

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Honey
Dimanta 10/27/2012 9:35:00 AM
I was always using honey as ONE OF the ingredients in my face or hair masks (like: oats, honey, yogurt, lemon, greek yogurt, etc), but never tried it by itself. The best is to use raw, organic, unpasteurized honey, however, almost any raw honey will do. Sometimes it can be mixed with other ingerdients, like lemon (for brightening) oats, cinnamon or turmeric. All these ingredients are natural and great for skincare. In addition, honey helps reduce inflammation and redness. Because of the humectants in it, honey is also moisturizing, unlike many acne products that can dry out the skin. I use it every day for about 10 - 30 min., but it can also be left on for much longer. If anyone has acne prone skin, try mixing honey with cinnamon, fresh lemon juice and oatmeal. Leave the mixture on for 20 to 30 min. and then remove with warm water. You will see the results right away. Another mask to make: grate 1/2 apple and mix with 2 tbsp. of honey. Leave on for 10 min. and rinse off. This mask also helps with skin tone. I also like honey with cinnamon. Like honey, cinnamon has anti-microbial properties and can halt the growth of bacteria too. I use: 3 tbsp. honey with 1 tsp. cinnamon powder and leavethe mixture on face for 30-50 min. before rinsing it off with warm water. So far I am using regular raw, unpasteurized honey but I will try Manuka honey as it has even better antiseptic benefits.

Treatments -SKII - Facial Treatment Essence
Dimanta 9/23/2012 4:31:00 AM
I got a sample of this at Sephora. My skin feels very clean and fresh after I use it, however it also feels little sticky, unclean. I use it as a toner before applying my day-cream and night-cream. I haven't seen much of an effect yet, but noticed small little red bumps. Not sure if this essence is at fault, or SKII cream, however, after I stopped using any SKII product, my clear skin came back. I might give this product one more try sometime, and update if my opinion changes.

Moisturizers -SKII - StemPower
Dimanta 9/23/2012 4:28:00 AM
I got a sample of this new moisturizer, however I can't tell if I like it that much. It feels very light and moisturizing. I love the fact that it does not leave my skin greasy and it absorbs very quickly. Even in the morning my skin felt even and soft, not greasy at all. The StemPower Moisturizer targets primary signs of skin ageing such as dryness, pores, texture, radiance and lack of firmness. (I used it together with SKII Facial Treatment Essence and just by itself). However, I got some small red bumps that appeared after using this cream that went away after I stopped using this.

Gels/Soaps -LUSH - Porridge Soap
Dimanta 9/18/2012 3:55:00 AM
Got a sample of this at store. I don't see anything great about it - the smell is not nice and the soap is very drying, breaks in pieces, etc.

Fragrances -Chanel - Chance Eau Tendre
Dimanta 8/22/2012 9:59:00 AM
This is one of my favorite perfumes for a while. I do not like much other Chanel perfumes but this one is the best. It's light and floral, but not too strong. The only thing, it's very expensive in many countries. It's best to purchase it online or in US.

Sunscreen -Unlisted Brand - Solar - Tizo2 SPF 40 - Light Skin Formulation - Very Water Resistant
Dimanta 7/22/2012 6:38:00 PM
This is amazing sunscreen. I got a sample of this and I love it. I love: it's very light and does not smell as other sunscreens does. It is also very matte and does not break me out. It costs about $23 online, I think it's very good price too. TIZO2 is paraben, oil and fragrance free, and specially formulated without UV absorbing chemimals to offer unsurpassed, irritant free UVA/UVB light protection. The only thing I do not like about this sunscreen is that it is little hard to apply it (little too thick, matte and white - iut is not creamy at all) as it applies pretty white and you have to work it into your skin until it becomes clear and matte Still I love it, as I apply it on mt face and I do not feel it at all. Many suncreens block the pores and make me break out, not this one.

Eye Shadow -Inglot - Pure Pigment Eye Shadow # 50
Dimanta 7/16/2012 10:37:00 PM
This is another amazing eye shadow pigment from Inglot! Love it! I couldnt choose between # 45 and #50 (I have my favorite #85 already) so I took both of them. The price is also not that bad - $14.00. Not many places you can find Inglot, so I was so excited to see it in Florida (first store found in Dubai, surprise - made in Poland). I think this pigments is very special - first I thought it's too red/pink and was not interested until I noticed there is some yellow/brown note in it. I applied a little at the beginning and it seemed to be brozy brown with pink undertone, however when I applied more, turns more into red/pink. I really love it. Inglot is my favorite Eye shadow pigment store.

Eye Shadow -Inglot - Pure Pigment Eye Shadow # 45
Dimanta 7/16/2012 10:32:00 PM
I was so happy I found Inglot in Florida! First time I purchased my favorite pigment eye shadow from Inglot in Dubai (#85) and thought there is no Inglot in Canada/USA. So I was soo happy, I found this store, can't even describe. I think their eye shadows are amazing and the price is pretty good too. I love the fact that many pigments are not only one color, but they are mixed colors, depending from direction the light is coming from. Anyways, I wanted to get just one new pigment but couldnt choose - they all are pretty, I think I sepnt ywo hours in that store. Finally I chose pigment #45 and #50. No. 45 at first seems to be light/shimmery yellow but when swatched it turns into shimmery green/yellow/white, almost translucent (depending how much you use it). I do not have many green, yellow clothes to wear but this color was so geargous - I had to have it. It tried mixing it (inner eyelid) #45 with #50, but I think #45 with #85 will be even better. LOVE IT! Only downside, my little (2g) container was half empty ( I went back to exchange but all #45s seemed to be that way. Other pigments are full containers).

Sunscreen -Banana Boat - Deep Tanning Oil SPF 8 (Carrot & Banana Extracts)
Dimanta 7/15/2012 9:03:00 PM
Smells absolutely AMAZING - carrots and bananas, smells so so yummy, feel like eating it up! However, it gives me weird rush after I use it (on hands and chest) so I have been using it only on legs, and only a little bit.

Polishes -NARS - Orgasm
Dimanta 7/14/2012 2:42:00 AM
I love this nail polish. Its shimmery peachy color, very light and sheek. Its too light when applied once, so two coats does a pretty good job, however, it is still little see through color. It's little too expensive for a nail polish (I love OPI colors for 9 USD) - it costs 18 USD at Sephora. I will try to find similar color in OPI line, but if I can't I might purchase this - it's amazing color for summer.

Cleansers -Ponds - Deep Cleanser and Makeup Remover With Cucumber Extract
Dimanta 7/13/2012 2:41:00 AM
Love love love it! I have been using many lotions, milks, etc - for removing make up, and none (NONE) of them have been good - either they break me out, they do not remove my Revlon (or other) foundation or they are just too irritating, smelly, etc.. Until I tried this wonder magic cream! First of all, let me tell you I was using original Cold Cream before and it seemed to be very rich and greesy, so I was not expecting this to be different but its amazing - so light and creamy, feels like yogurt almost. And it removes my make up (finally!) I was really impressed. Socond, it never breaks me out as it has only few ingredients and there are no harsh chemicals. Lastly - it smells amazing and it's super cheap too. There is only one thing - make sure your fingers are clean or use something to get the cream out or this jar.. but it's easy. One jar of 10 oz. lasted me for half a year (and I paid 4.70 USD). Like I said I tried the original Cold Cream before, but I prefer cucumber one - feels much much lighter and I love the scent. Only one thing I suggest for someone who does not like that greasy feeling - use a small piece of Makeup Removing towelettes (I use 1/3 of Proactiv Makeup Removing Towelette) and then rinse you face with water, if you like. I tried some other towelettes but they were too irritating - made my face sting or red. Proactiv towelettes works the best for me.
