Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad - Designer Chocolates
Christinaann5 4/25/2012 9:46:00 AM
Wow- i really become almost obsessed w/ collecting eyeshadows- they are def a must have in my makeup collection & being a drugstore makeup buyer, these quads are def great! & I think everyone can enjoy this one! ~~PRICE/AVAILABILITY~~ The Maybelline ExpertWear Shadow quads can be readily found in most drugstores like RiteAid, Walgreens, CVS as well as mass stores like Walmart, Target, & Kmart. They have released a lot of these quads so one store may not have them all so it will vary. The price will also vary slightly depending on your location as well as sales/discounts. I always find me a bargain though. These are pretty fairly priced esp for the quality. These typically sell for $5-7 depending. I typically pay around $5 and think thats cheap! ~~SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE~~ "Designer Chocolates" is a nice basic but beautiful neutral quad with four gorgeous coordinating shadows that can be worn for day and nite looks. They do have suggestions but you can make your own looks. I think all four shadows are pressed well, smooth and easy to apply & blend. Pigmented and look amazing! I think these will go on pigmented enough to show up alone & wear for hours with little fading but if you use a primer, it will help significantly (as with most d/s shadows) I find with a primer, these go on a tad more pigmented and wear for hours with almost no fading or creasing. If you have more oily lids, a primer or powdering your lids will help keep them from creasing. I think my shadows look great even after a long day at work. With each quad though, you will have a shadow that may need a little more work but nothing too major that i cant handle. But whats also great about the Maybelline quads is that they include four coordinationg shadows and four different finishes so you can add texture or dimension. Everyone can wear them since you get some matte, satin & metallic or shimmer. It wont be too much glitter- its great that we finally get some good mattes and not always shimmer bc the older i get, the less i want sparkles all over, you know. So ill describe the shadows in my opinion- BROW- a nice soft matte vanilla shadow. since its matte its great along the brow bone for a natural highlight & can also be used all over for a wash for a soft natural look. LID- a soft satin champagne gray. this is one of my favorite colors to put all over the lid to open up the eye area. its great alone paired with liner. very pretty CREASE- a gorgeous metallic cranberry wine color. This can add dimension to the look. can be built up or if you use a fluffy brush & run this along a brown, it can add warmth to your look, such a beautiful color from the d/s OUTER CORNER (OR LINER IN NEW QUAD)- a nice matte dark chocolate brown. this makes a great outer v or crease color as well. This can also be used to smoke out the look or wet for a liner. Its not as dark as it looks in the pan but can def be built up or blended for a more sheer natural brown. All four of these shadows make a great day time natural and beautiful look but can be smoked out & jazzed up with that cranberry. These colors are all beautiful alone or together. This quad is neutrals but w/ a pop of color. I love this quad esp for fall & winter but i def reach for it year round! ~~PACKAGING~~ The Maybelline ExpertWear Quads come in the standard hard plastic compact. Backing is a black with a sticker covering with all the labeling, info, and whats great is they include a picture tutorial of the eye & where & how to place the labeled shadows for different suggested looks. Its great for beginners to show them basics but also for those who want to throw looks together themselves. The shadows all have suggested placements such as lid, brow, crease, liner so its nice to see what can go where. It taught me how to place different shadows together. The lid is see thru (which is great if you have more than one of these) with maybelline logo & quad name located on a connecting sticker to the back. I dont think its the prettiest looking compact but it keeps my shadows safe & in place and def has withstood thru traveling & handling. I have had a lid snap off but that was me trying to open it the wrong way (duh, im blonde, i know) Its slim & great for traveling since can make a few looks with each quad! this is def great for that! Overall, id def suggests this quad as well as others from Maybelline for those beginning to collect and do their makeup since you can get a few looks with each quad. This quad is def great for day time & nite time and can be worn season after season! Its basics but with a punch and i def love it! id repurchase if Maybelline would QUIT TESTING ON POOR INNOCENT CREATURES! it drives me crazy that companies are still doing this!

Eyeliner -Jordana - Fabu Liner Liquid Eyeliner Pen
Christinaann5 4/24/2012 9:50:00 PM
wow! i absolutely adore this liner marker pen?! I have been using the Elf Waterproof Pens for quite some time but somehow managed to find a few Jordana products at a Walgreens i happened to be in one day so i decided to give this a shot, so glad i did! ~~PRICE/AVAILABILITY~~~ Jordana is not widely available like most drugstore products, i can rarely find the line- esp in its entirety, but i have seen some products at some Walgreens & Kmarts. I do believe you can buy their products on their site online. What i love the most about Jordana is that their products are extremely cheap but def great! as well as cruelty free products. But if you do have the chance to try a few products, def pick up the Fabuliner Liquid Eyeliner pen- i bought mine for $1.99. which is unreal! even compared to other drugstore pens like this! ~~SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE~~ The Jordana FabuLiner Pen in "Black" is def that, black. This is super pigmented and defines the lash lines- it def makes my lash line look defined & lashes look better! Black is def pigmented and the marker makes it super easy for super thin lines for natural looks but can def make thick lines. I am not sure if they have more colors (id love to see other shades in this pen) The marker makes it easy for those like myself that just couldnt get their lines to look right. Its brilliant! My liner actually have improved since using markers & now i feel a little more comfortable using gel liners. If you are still a little wary that black is too harsh, you can tone it down w/ a powder shadow on top. I typically wear an eye primer but this works great alone but def pair w/ a primer or lightly dust powder over lids if you have oily lids. (i dont) This withstands the day and more. I even have a hard time getting this off w/ makeup wipes & sometimes have to use a eye makeup remover to get it off. Which means- great performance.I sometimes will set this with powder shadow for a more smokier look but it stays put for me so i dont have to worry about it going anywhere! The ink dried rather fast but if i made a mistake i hurry & take a qtip & wipe it away quickly. But unfortunately this will wear differently for each of us. But i think this def wears longer & is more pigmented than the Elf Waterproof Pens but those are $1 & i think theyre amazing as well. But id def repurchase over & over! (if i can ever find it) The marker tip is fine and if stored lid facing down, you will be able to get true black lines every time. ~~PACKAGING~~ The Jordana Fabuliner comes in a nice standard marker size that is black. The lid slides open & shut with ease and keeps the tip nice & moist. i highly suggests storing this with the tip facing down since this will allow the fluid/ink to flow into the tip and keep it moist- that way it doesnt dry out! Its been pigmented and inky since day one & ive had it open for over 3 weeks, so far, its still great & just the same. I do notice w/ any marker pen, gliding this along powder shadows may eventually dry it up quicker but ive not noticed it with this one, its def great! The felt tip is small & precise so you can get any kind of line. I think the tip had held up better than my other fav Elf pens that do eventually fray a bit but this has held its shape well. The packaging is slim & sleek and its the size of a sharpie marker so you can basically take this with you EVERYWHERE! BRILLIANT! Overall, I highly recommend this to EVERYONE! its a must have in my opinion. It can be used everyday no matter what look you are going for, its great for beginners to use instead of liquid or gel which can be less forgiving. I learned the wing look with these & its helped so much! I will def repurchase if i ever get to again and id probably pick up a few extra just incase!! i love it, my Elf Pens def are great but i like this one a tad more! I do love that Elf have a different color options though! Love this for sure!

Eyeliner -Maybelline - EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner - Brown
Christinaann5 4/19/2012 10:20:00 AM
WOW! this is an amazing liner! Since trying a few gel/cream liners, i def think this liner is great! So far so good and ill go into detail in my review.... ~~PRICE/AVAILABILITY~~ Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel liner can be found wherever your Maybelline products are sold. I have seen this in most drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid as well as mass stores like Target & Walmart & Kmart & such. The price is going to vary depending on your location as well as sales/discounts/coupons but i have seen this priced around $5-8 which is a fair price esp since you get so much product! ~~SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE~~ The Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel liners are an amazing affordable gel cream eyeliner. This is great for beginners to experts alike. This is def a thick cream/gel liner. I think its more on the cream base but i dont have it to look at ingredients. The formula is smooth & creamy and super pigmented. These glide on well w/ your brush. Depending on what brush you use, you can def get a thin or thick line. The formula is smooth & creamy and well pigmented as well as, this lasts SUPER LONG. now i do prime my eyes as well as use a cream base sometimes. I have tried this alone (i do have normal lids, those with more oily lids def should prime & powder their eyes for any makeup to hold longer) This last alone, for around 6 hrs before i saw any fading or moving of the liner but w/ my typical primer, this last until i have to forcifully remove it w/ my makeup wipes & sometimes even a makeup remover is needed! This looks just as good hours later after ive applied it! im so glad that they have released a few different colors. The basic black, brown & i believe they did have an eggplant purple as well as a LE Forest Green color. These are a great alternative to the Loreal HIP cream liners that have been discontinued. I do prefer my WNW Creme liner but they only have black & eggplant so i def wanted a brown liner for my pale skin. Sometimes black is too harsh & dramatic esp during the day & Brown is def a dark brown but can be worn everyday w/ any look. Its dark enough that it defines the lash line & completes my looks. I love using this year round. I think this formula is def better than some liquid liners since this can be more forgiving- you do have a little bit of time to work with it but once it dries, its not going anywhere. Unlike liquid liner, this doesnt dry automatically & if you messed up, then you have to start over. This allows you to move it around & wipe if needed. So if you are a fan of liquid liner precision & definition but want something less dramatic, def give this a shot! Brown is perfect for everyday day looks as well as nite looks even! Great performance on this liner as well! its long lasting & great! ~~PACKAGING~~ The Maybelline Gel liners come in a very nice glass jar with a hard plastic twist on & off lid. This is nice & sleek and looks expensive. Its similar to say Mac Fluidlines. Its a nice size- you actually get 0.10 oz of liner. Trust me, this will last awhile. Ive had mine for almost 3 months & barely made it half way through. I dont use it everyday (as i was dumb & opened up a few gel/cream liners not realizing that id have to get rid of them or they'd dry up before i got to use them up so make sure to save them or wait to purchase until you're close to being done) This is a great amount of product/liner so you will def get your use of it! Whats best about this liner- they include a brush. I love the brush. Its more along the lines of a mini concealer brush than say an angled liner brush but i find the brush is really easy to use & does give great ease of lining the eyes. Some may prefer their own brush but ive reached for the included brush a few times. I like it- imagine a usable brush included in a drugstore product, its never happened to me :) So if you dont have a brush, you most def can use the one they give you. Awesome! Overall, the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel liner is a great option for anyone looking for a gel liner or a nice liner to use on a daily basis. This is def worth the price, its affordable & amazing! Great lasting power! I will def recommend this liner & id def repurchase, if Maybelline was cruelty free ( i didnt know better when i first started getting into makeup) So until they sign the paper saying they will QUIT TESTING ON POOR INNOCENT CREATURES, i cannot purchase from the company.. sadly

Eye Shadow -E.L.F. - Mineral Eyeshadow in Golden
Christinaann5 4/13/2012 5:59:00 PM
I have to say, if you love mineral makeup, then def give Elf a shot or if you are like me & are interested in mineral makeup but dont want to spend a fortune or just want some beautiful eyeshadows, the Elf Mineral Eyeshadows are gorgeous! =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Elf Mineral Eyeshadows are only available online on the eyeslipsface website under the mineral eye section. I have seen various sets at Big Lots, Target & Kmarts but where you will find the whole collection is online. I wish they'd bring the range to Target stores as well since who wants to pay extra shipping? The price for each shadow is $3- which i think is a great price considering you get tons of shadow but ive collected most of mine with sales/discounts esp the one they have rarely where you can 10 free mineral shadows with an order-eh? Heck ya! But even at regular price, its not too bad! =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= The Elf mineral shadows are a great mineral makeup. According to the Elf site: "Bring a touch of natural beauty to your eyes with these soft, translucent shades that add subtle highlights for daytime or increased drama for night. With key vitamins A, B, C & E these eyeshadows hydrate and minimize the appearance of fine lines. Available in an array of light-reflecting color options they can be worn wet or dry, together or alone, for countless shimmering styles and trends. The all natural consistency makes them incredibly easy to apply and blend for a flawless finish. All our mineral makeup is 100% mineral based with no parabens, no preservatives and no chemical dyes." Golden is such a gorgeous true yellow gold. Its classic and can be worn alone on the lid or add any shadow to the look. Golden is a soft color, as its a loose metallic golden color can be sheered out or "foiled" for a more intense metallic look. Thats what i love about these mineral shadows. With one shadow you have so many options. Ive pressed some of my Elf mineral shadows & they are great pressed too! Golden can be worn with any lippie and can be worn all year round since its a basic, everyone should have a true gold in their collection. I love pairing these shadows w/ a matte crease color for a more toned down day look & for a more dramatic night look w/ a winged liner look! The formula is great! Minerals such work well for any skin type but we all have different skin so test these out first. I love the ingredients & that we all can have good makeup- These wear great as well! I def suggests purchasing the Elf Mineral Eyeshadow primer because if you pair that w/ the mineral shadows, these will stay put for over 9 hrs with no fading. On their own, on my normal lids, these have lasted around 6 hrs before i saw fading. If you do have more oily lids i do suggests priming. Even using a cream base helps as well for it gives the loose pigments something to grab onto. I love using different colored bases with one shadow to make so many different options! Golden is a great basic but if you place a dark base- it becomes a darkened gold almost bronze- beautiful! =PACKAGING= The Elf Mineral eyeshadows come in a hard plastic container jar with a black twist on/off lid. They contain 0.03oz of loose shadow. There is A TON of shadow in these jars. I barely have made a dent in any of mine. Ive even pressed half of the shadow in a few & still have plenty left. The shade name & info can be found on the bottom of the jar- big enough to see. The lid has the Elf logo with product name. The only problem i have is that i have to pick them up to see which one is which since i have almost all the colors- which isnt that big of a deal. Once you open the lid, there is a sticker over the sifter top. I dont like to take the sticker the whole way off for it will allow all the powder to come up through making, what to seems to me, to be a mess every time you open these. So what i do is poke through only 2 or 3 of the holes. I do stores these in a silverware container so that they dont slide around. Mineral shadows are great to have but may not be too practical to carry around everywhere or on vacations. If you love the color, maybe press it! I do love this though even for a beginner i was able to use this- Overall, these are great for beginners to anyone looking for great mineral makeup! There is a great selection of colors, mostly metallic sheens but some mattes. Golden is a great neutral basic but beautiful color to own! Def love it!

Blush -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Blush in Pink Frosting [DISCONTINUED]
Christinaann5 4/11/2012 9:23:00 AM
i really love love these Dream Mousse Blushes!!! esp Pink Frosting since its such a bright but wearable shade. If you have more med to dark skin, this may not work so well but I love it and wish they wouldnt have made these into the Dream Bouncy Blushes- since i hear that the pigmentation on those are worse than these :( why did Maybelline discontinue the Mousse line products that were loved! but kept the foundation? i dont get it? PRICE/AVAILABILITY- Maybelline Dream Mousse Blushes are now reformulated and revamped to be the Dream Bouncy Blushes..which i havent tried yet but ive seen mixed reviews. I am not sure if the formula is almost the same as the Dream Mousse Blushes but i wish theyd never discontinued basically the best of the line (the blushes & concealer, wth?) So if you see these anywhere & like the color, def pick them up! SHADE/FORMULA- The shade Pink Frosting is a very gorgoeus cool baby pink with a slight shimmer running through out.! The color may be too light for those with med to darker skin but since I am extremely pale, this works for me. This gives my cheeks a very natural light flush of pink. I love using this on days my eyes are more dramatic or even when i have a natural eye look. Really, this blush can be paired with any look and any season or day. This blush will look great on most fair girls. This can go on sheer or can build up a tad to give more of a pinky look. Dont use too much or it may start flaking. I love the slight shimmer even though id love it even more if it were matte but its not obnoxious or over the top. It gives a natural glow to the skin & makes my skin look hydrated w/out looking oily or greasy. i use this alone or under my powder blushes. The formula is a mousse of course so its a fluffy mousse which applies and blends so easily on the skin. easy application so anyone from beginners to experts can apply this without worrying about it looking crazy. this is best applied with fingers so the warmth helps it blend and set into skin but ive also used brushes and it works great too! this helps draw out the pink undertones in my blushes that are matte and add a glow when put on top of this. so great on its own or under other blushes. i love it for my dry skin in winter and summer, i use it all year round! its not too bright or dull or dark, just perfect for everyday and any occasion! STAYING POWER- this mousse blushes are best suited for those with normal to dry skin but can also work with combo to oily skin if used right. dont glob a whole bunch on- just use a thin layer and if you have oily skin you should def set with a like powder blush to match. on its own, it has lasted me about 5 hrs then it starts to fade but if you set with even your setting powder or a powder blush, this will always stay put all day (or around 9 hours is normally when i take my makeup off) Great staying power and stays put. PACKAGING- last but not least, the packaging is wonderful. its a glass jar with a plastic twist on lid. the lid color indicates what shade is in the jar. its not exact but pretty darn close so that way if you have more than 1 of these blushes you will be able to tell which one. the name/logo is on the lid in classic Maybelline writing. To ensure this product does not dry up quicker, make sure you twist on the lid properly and tight! I love how pretty & simple the jar is. it feels sturdy & expensive! not a whole bunch of plastic so it looks & feels expensive! i love the jar. you get the whole jar full of mousse blush. a little goes a long way so this will & has lasted a while w/ no drying thus far! its great! overall, this is one of my favorite everyday go to blushes that im sure most fair or light skintones will enjoy. i wear it alot! Its my favorite of the 3 i own so far! i wish Maybelline didnt test on animals or id buy the new Bouncy blushes to see if theyre the same but it seems they just repackaged these into a smaller pan & gave us less for the same price? I loved these blushes & wish i wouldve picked more before they quit making them (& i kick my own butt for not grabbing a whole bunch of the concealers too) So if you have tried these & the new Bouncy blushes, def let me know if theyre the same! I really do love the Dream Mousse Blushes i own & wish i had tried more!

Eye Shadow -Revlon - Illuminance Creme Shadow Quad - Not Just Nudes
Christinaann5 4/9/2012 4:53:00 PM
I have to say i am a huge fan of cream shadows and the Revlon Creme Shadow quads are one of my favorite products from the drugstore esp since you get four cream shadows and tons of options.. Not Just Nudes is def a must have if you are a fan of cream shadows or want to try using these as a base.... =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Revlon Creme Illuminance Quads can be found wherever your Revlon cosmetics are found. Ive seen them in most drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid as well as both Walmart & Target. I have also seen them online in different sites. The price will vary depending on your location as well as where you purchase them. Obviously, getting them on sale/discount/coupons is best. The price is typically around $5-7. I have purchased mine for less than $4 though. i always wait for a good sale! But different quads may not be available in certain places & i have seen vary few Limited Edition quads released which i couldnt ever find in my local stores. =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= On to the most important part, Not Just Nudes is a MUST have in any girls makeup collection. Why you ask? I think you get 4 very basic but much needed cream shadows. Whats great is that they are mattes & metallic/shimmer finishes. Not Just Nudes contains four basic but beautiful nudes that can be worn by anyone- alone or as a cream base for your other shadows. From left to right (mirror on top when looking) 1st shadow- this is a great basic milk chocolate brown that does have somewhat of a metallic finish to it. Its a deepend bronze brown that is great for defining the outer v or lining the lash line when using light wash of shadow. Its also great for creating a brown smoky eye. 2nd shadow- this is my Favorite of them all probably bc i dont see many matte cream shadows like this ever. This is a mid tone MATTE brown. reminds me of the shadow in the WNW Vanity palette. Its great for using all over for brown smoky look or running a slight layer on the crease outer v area. Such a unique & gorgeous shadow. Love it! 3rd shadow- this is another beautiful color, its a toasted champagne shadow. this is a great color for all over the lid alone or paired w/ any shadow esp earthy tones. this shadow does have a metallic finish. 4th shadow- this is a great basic white champagne skintone cream shadow that is more matte. This is great for many things. can use this to top ANY shadow, this is great for all over wash on the lid to brighten the lid, this can also be great as a thin layer on brow bone for a matte natural highlight. So all four shadows are beautiful! I love using these as cream bases for my powder shadows to cling to. Meaning, these will help your less pigmented or powdery shadows work a little better. I always use an eye primer (mainly Elf eyelid primer) then i use very thin layer of these & than top them with shadows. They key is using a primer & using thin layers. The more you place on your lid, the more likely they will be to crease esp if you have oily lids. Then these need to be set with a powder since they do have somewhat of a cream to powder finish (they have been updating these with a better formula) But if you want these to stay put for longer or have little creasing i def suggests to use a thin layer of powder whether it be your face powder or a powder shadow. I also suggests priming your lids, letting that sit in then using a dusting of face powder on lids & letting that set and then using these (if you have oily lids) this will def help. I have normal lids so i can wear these w/ primer & a dusting a powder. These will stay put for over 7-8 hrs without hardly any fading or creasing if used correctly! I love these. Esp paired w/ my powder shadows. These allow my powder shadows to show up more vividly & be more pigmented as well as allow them to last longer! These help pick up differnt undertones to shadows & bring out different colors. Not Just Nudes is a great quad with four neutrals that can be used on a daily basis. Its one of my most used makeup products and will def continue to use! =PACKAGING= The Revlon Creme Illuminance Quads come in a rectangular black compact with Revlon logo & 4 see thru pop up windows that allow you to see the different shadows inside (this is actually where the shadows are inside). On the back is a logo/label information as well as shade name on the top corner. Then inside- you get four circular pans of cream shadows. There is also a mirror on the back panel that is actually very nice & ive used when i was in a pinch & needed one. There isnt a great deal of product but enough for the price. I wish they would make them a tad bigger for the cost though. The compact is slim and compact and is great to slip in your bag or purse if needed. The plastic is sturdy and i havent had any damage done to mine. I think its simple and classic & sturdy. Overall, NOT JUST NUDES is an amazing quad of neutral tone cream shadows that i adore and love! esp since there is two matte shadows- there isnt many if not none at the drugstore. I use this quad alot and def recommend to anyone looking for cream shadows to use alone or as bases! I love this quad and will most def repurchase over and over. I havent hit pan on any four but know i will soon! i love all four shadows and will def rebuy when i run out!

Eye Shadow -Sally Girl - Sally Girl Champagne
Christinaann5 4/9/2012 3:34:00 PM
I LOVE and adore the Sally Girl single shadows and dont think enough people know about them. Being a drugstore only girl, i have to say, these are really amazing and probably the cheapest of all of my shadows... =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Sally Girl Single shadows are exclusively sold at Sallys Beauty Supply stores or thru Sallys Beauty online store. The shades will vary depending on your location. The price, its unbelievable! These are only 99cents or even cheaper if you have a Sallys Card- 97cents. I dont have a card yet but still, less than a dollar, its unreal! but dont let it fool you..they are great! =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= I believe ive done a review on these single shadows overall or for most of the shades i own, but Champagne has got to be an all around multi-tasker shadow. Its true to its name, Champagne is just that, a beautiful neutral champagne with a sheen to it. I do see some glitter in it but its finely milled that it doesnt show up on the skin, it gives more of a sheen. Its pigmented, it shows up well on the skin true to the color in the pan. This shadow will work for all skin tones from cool to warm from pale to bronzed! This shadow is great for all over the lid, brow highlight, inner tear duct, it can be used with any other shadow. This is a must have in anyones makeup collection. Whats great is that it can also be used as a face highlight as well on the cheekbones or cupids bow. Its amazing for 99cents! The formula on these varies slightly but all i own are pigmented, soft and have little fall out. Champagne has no fallout that i have noticed. These shadows of course should be used with a primer as any shadow should. esp if you have more oily eyelids. I have normal lids so alone, these stay for over 6-7 hrs with barely any fading or creasing but with a primer & even better, a base, i have to take it off with my makeup wipes. So for such a low price, these perform just as well as Maybelline, Rimmel and any other drugstore shadows. These are soft, easy to apply & blend. So if you are interested in some new shadows, def gives these a try but def pick up Champagne since it can be used on a daily basis & you will def get your moneys worth! =PACKAGING= The Sally Girl single shadows are small, a little bigger than say a quarter but they have a lot of shadow in the pan. The pan is deep and i have barely made even a dent in any of them. The are hard plastic. The back is black with white sticker w/ logo & info & shade name. Its big enough to see. The lid is clear & can be snap open or shut. Easy to open or close. They also have a ridge or lip so that they can connect to one another if you want to make a double, trio or quad or all of them. Its up to you. So you can take one or all. They slide onto each other to connect. They are easy to connect or disconnect. I like the concept since its easy to store them together or singlely if you have more room. I love that you can see which shade is which through the see thru lid. No having to open them up to see. I love the simple yet convenient and sturdy packaging. I have not had one crack or break on me. I think this is great! Overall, Champagne is a beautiful champagne shadow that looks amazing, it opens up the eyes and can make any look complete. It can do so many things so its def one of my favorite shadows. I never though a basic shadow like this could be so amazing but it def is. I will def repurchase this shadow if i ever get through it & def recommend to others to try!

Lip Treatments -Carmex - Click Stick Original SPF 15
Christinaann5 4/9/2012 2:37:00 PM
I have been a Carmex user for years and only recently did i realize i think its making my lips worse off. I do still use it once or more daily but have been trying not to use it so much and see if it will help. =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= Carmex products can be found in most drugstores and mass stores like Walmart & Target. They can be found in the chapstick aisles. The price of Carmex has remained the same over the years and is very inexpensive. The cost per stick is typically around $1 which is a great price since you only need a little bit. The jars are around the same price. Im not sure the exact ounces of product per stick or jar & which one is the best value, ill update when i do. But they are priced very cheap! =FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= I have not tried the new Carmex vanilla flavors but have tried the original & cherry versions. Carmex does have its own particular scent & i can name the scent from anything. Its not very strong but does have somewhat of a medicated scent to it. What i grew to love about Carmex lip balm is the formula. Its very thick and covers the lips very well. It coats very chapped lips great and gives an instant relief. If you do have any over chapped areas (it sounds gross but i do bite the skin on my lips esp if theyre getting chapped) it will make a slight tingle on the lip areas. Its not painful tingle but almost a relief like i know its working. Thats what i love so much is that i knew when i was putting it on, my lips wouldnt hurt no more. I have always had extremely dry lips ever since i can remember. its probably because i have bad allergies and snore at night which means my mouths open through the nite, leaving my lips exposed to the air as well as i have dry skin overall. So i have not found another chapstick or balm that compares to Carmex. Its a heavy duty chapstick & works on my lips to give relief. My lips do feel moisturized and smooth for around an hour so you do have to reapply quite a bit throughout the day. This is where i found out that i think this is an addictive balm meaning- if you start using it daily repeatedly, you will HAVE to use it like this for years otherwise your lips are more chapped without it. I am not sure if its the medication in the chapstick or if its the thick formula not allowing your lips to breath but i thought this "helped my chapped lips" but i think it makes my lips more chapped in the long run. It was hard not to reach for it every hour but eventually i tried to let my lips heal on their own so now i dont need to use it as much- only when my lips are really bad or i want to wear lipstick. I really do love this stuff but its addicting and i dont think its good for long term use but we all have different lips and needs so i hope its great for everyone else. I do love it but i realized it was probably making my lips worse in the end. =PACKAGING= The new updated Click Stick is def more practical and conveient then the original jar Carmex that i grew up with. I still love both and have a jar laying around home and the oringal click sticks for traveling in my purses or bags since i hate to dig my finger in a jar when im out and about. The click stick is def easy and small & can be brought anywhere. The stick is mechanical so you can twist up and down as much product as you would like. I havent had any problems with any getting stuck up or down. I do know that once you get so far, there is still a tiny bit of product left at the end that the stick wont allow you to twist up any further. The formula is the same as the jar. The stick has a yellow stick with a red cap. This keeps it secure in your bag. Overall, i am def a big Carmex fan. Its great for those with chronic dry or chapped lips. Def great for anyone looking for relief when when they have dry lips. This is great when you have a cold too bc you know we always get those dry chapped lips when were sick. I love the formula & how smooth it makes my lips. I will always continue to buy these and the jars over and over bc my lips dont like any other chapstick or balm ive tried. This is def the only thing that helps!

Hair Color -L'Oreal - Excellence Creme
Christinaann5 4/6/2012 4:11:00 PM
I cant believe i havent reviewed this hair dye especially since i have been using this brand for years and have grown to love and adore it- really. I have tried others but have always came back to this since it works and doesnt damage my hair- =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Loreal Excellence Creme Hair Dye can be found in most drugstores as well as most Target & Walmart stores. I typically find the price is best at Walmart or Target but the drugstores do have some good sales- I only buy mine when they are on sale or clearance plus with coupons. Loreal places $2 off coupons in the sunday papers. So i love finding a good deal! The price is normally around $6-8 depending on where you purchase them since it will vary depending on your location. But i always stock up when i get a good sale & coupon. =PERFORMANCE/FORMULA= Ill start by what my hair type is. I have shoulder length dyed dry coarse thick hair. I typically use deep conditioners & masque at least twice typically. I try to dye my hair at least every 4 weeks. This hair dye is great. It shows true to Color Results shown on the box. unlike most at home dyes that i use for showing Ash blondes, this does NOT leave any brassiness or red tones to my hair, thats why i LOVE this hairdye. I always go for the Light Ash blonde dyes. The help match my cool toned skin wihtout leaving any brassiness or end up making my hair red. its my biggest pet peeve, that as well as my hair turning brown when i want it blonde. I have had Blonde hair since i was a child. I am suppose to have dirty blonde hair naturally but want it lighter. This gives me a nice ash blonde from light to medium depending on the season. Since its spring now, ill start going lighter until i reach a bleach blonde hair. The formula isnt too runny like Colorsilk- it applies easily as well as spreads and soaks in without heat. I know they say to use heat to help the dye take faster to the hair but im lazy and like to do the least amount of work. I use the bottle all over esp concentrating on my roots. I start at roots & work my way down. I try to stay away from the tips as much as possible since theyre brittle & are the lightest anyway. The bottle covers my hair nicely. If you do have hair thats longer than your shoulders, id suggests using with TWO boxes to ensure you can get your whole head, for touch ups on the roots, a box will do just fine. I use to use two boxes when my hair was super long. I typically let the dye sit in hair for around 20 or more mins. This im not worried about getting dark on me- it dyes properly. I then wash out dye in sink & condition with included conditioner- it works good too but still use a little of my own conditioner. I will continue to use this Dye forever. i do like the Garnier Nutrisse dyes since it seems to be a tad less harsh but nothing major that makes me change to it. i will continue to stock up on the preferred shade since this works so well on my hair. But def do a test if you are new to dye or esp since all dyes will work differently in all hair. The dye will last for around 3 weeks before i start noticing any roots. So the dye does hold up quite well- esp compared to other brands ive used. I love that i dont have to dye my hair more than once a month. I do like to keep up w/ my roots since they are gross when i see them. I love going darker in the fall-winter and brighter in the summer spring months & i dont have to switch up my hair routine meaning it doesnt damage my hair super bad. Now as a at home dyer, i do expect some damage bc i am putting chemicals and dyes in my hair but ive used some where it made my hair like straw. Just make sure to deep condition your hair at least once a week when going lighter especially. =PACKAGING= The Loreal Excellence Creme dye come in golden shade box. Inside, there is an instruction sheet w/ pair of rubber gloves that i suggests def using bc this dye will dye your hairs and burn them. I also suggests wearing an old tshirt or wrapping a towel around you & maybe even laying one of the floor since this will dye anything it drops on or touches. You can also use a lotion or vaseline around the scalp/neck/ears that way it will protect the skin from the dye- its your preference. The do suggests a spot test for allergies & making sure this will work for you. There is a bottle of a creme with twist on/off lid (this is where you will place the other liquid to mix & squirt on hand/hair to apply) There is a brown bottle of liquid that will need to be mixed into the other bottle (the directions are more detailed for you) This is easy to use & apply. They give enough for thick shoulder length hair. I love how simple it is. This also has a strong bleach/ammonia smell but its not the worst. I do suggests turning on a fan or opening a window. Its not the worst ive tried. Ive not had any reactions to the dye or being uncomfortable with it in my hair- no burning or itching. Overall, This is my go to hair dye and will always love to use it, but i am a bargain shopper & want to use mycoupons and get good deals. But i prefer this dye over any of the ones at the stores. I love the Les Blondimess from Loreal when im going bleach blonde. I think Loreal makes the BEST hair dye for at home dyers like myself. They work the best and last the longest!!!

Lip Liners -E.L.F. - Studio Lip Definer and Shaper
Christinaann5 3/18/2012 9:47:00 PM
So i have to first start off by saying I am a huge elf fan, obviously if you knew me or seen my other reviews, but i want to say that i am not biased meaning ill give them higher scores bc i love them or like they are paying me.. haha! i wish, no i buy all my makeup myself w/ my own money. Also, to be 100% honest, i am not a huge lippie girl, meaning, i wear carmex or a chapstick of some kind all day everyday & fear lipstick but i have been forcing myself to conquer this fear of mine- i know, shut up review the product =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Elf Studio LIp Definer & Shaper is available from the Elf Studio Line. The price is $3 which is a fair price esp considering you get two products. This can be found of course on the elf site as well as various stores like Target, Kmart, Sears Grand as well as some online stores. This will depend on your location. =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= This product is a two-fer. You get two sides to the pencil. The shaper side is a nice nude or natural lip pencil that is great for lining the lips for almost any lipstick or gloss. Its basically my lip color but slightly more brown. If you have light colored lips, it may be a tad dark but i find that the product can be blended out to look more natural. The lip liner is soft enough to apply w/out tugging and also can be blended w/ finger or brush. This is great for everyday use & even on the go since you get two products in great packaging. The Shaper side is a gorgeous soft creamy pearl pink shade. It has an irridescent glow to it, since its meant to be worn on the cupids bow to make upper lip appear larger. This is soft & smooth & goes on effortlessly. Its so pretty & natural. You dont have to keep going over the lines w/ either side of the pencil. It shows up true to color from the pencil. I wish they would make these separately or in a variety of colors but this is a great pencil to have. Even for those like myself that rarely use lip products but when you need a lip pencil, this is it. It has worked for all my needs and works great. With all lip products, i find the wear time isnt hours & hours but this typically stayed on lips for around 2 hours which says alot. The pearl side stays on a bit longer since im not rubbing that area as much as my lips w/ eating or drinking or even talking. This works just as great as more expensive pencils ive tried. I always wear chapsticks & this glides on well w/ out any cracking or bleeding. =PACKAGING= The Lip Definer & Shaper comes in a double ended black wooden pencil. The elf logo & product name is located on center of pencil in white writing & the ends are labeled as to what to use each for. Plastic slide on lids keep the product safe. They fit nicely. No cracking of the lids so far but im sure if you would carry around alot, it may be problematic since the lids could come off or get cracked. But being double ended, it makes this very convenient for doing two jobs well. Instead of having to have two pencils. The pencils are wider or chubbier so a bigger pencil sharpener will be needed. I havent had to sharpen mine yet since i dont use it so much but i will update on that. I bet this pencil will last me quite some time & def has done its job well! id imagine w/ one side being used more, it will create the dilemma of having one side gone while the other still there. So that may be annoying to those who like to use up their products to the end like myself. Overall, this is def a great product to own. If you wear lip products daily or rarely, it will come in handy. Its a great product overall! I decided to choose that i will not repurchase only because it will take me forever to finish up this one. But its a great basic to own.

Liquid -L.A. Colors - Liquid makeup in natural
Christinaann5 2/28/2012 9:58:00 AM
ok so i am a HUGE fan of LA Colors Makeup and this isnt the best they have to offer. It seems like they tried but not hard enough, but granted, they did give up something i guess. =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The LA Colors Liquid Makeup can be found in most Dollar Tree stores as well as some Dollar General & Family Dollar Stores. I have seen it available online on some sites. I def suggests not ordering from cherryculture since they often triple the price, if not more, which i think is absurd. So if you can find this in stores, def do so since you will only pay $1-$1.50. which is a fair price, i think! =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= Now since i have tried in the different shades, i have to say almost all of them are def on the warm tone side, more on the orange toned. So being a very pale cool tone complexion, this stuff does not match me at all. its way too dark no matter what shade i have purchased but also, my stores dont carry many shades. The formula is not runny but not super thick either, i do like the consistency since its easy to blend into the skin whether its w/ a brush, sponge or fingers. I think a damp sponge would work best w/ this since it has more of a light coverage, almost like a tinted moisturizer. This will cover some dark spots or blemishes but not completely. Concealer will def need to be used. I think this is great for those looking to even out the skin. And if you can find a shade that matches, great! I find the staying power will depend on your skin as well. If you have oily skin, this may break down or fade w/in a few hours since its a lighter formula. If you have more normal to dry skin, this may stay on a tad longer. Primer will also help w/ staying power. I dont think its great but its not horrible, ive tried far worse from more expensive brands. But since i have bought two & they dont match me at all, this will make a great fndt to use in a homemade eye primer recipe. or any diy makeup recipes. Thats how i have used up some of mine- i may just dump the fndt into something & use the tube for my used foundations. =PACKAGING= I actually enjoy the packaging on this foundation. Its a thicker plastic tubing thats orange in color w/ black logo/labeling. It comes in a cardboard sleeve at first. What makes this great is IT COMES WITH A PUMP! yes a $1 foundation can have one but one that cost 10x as much cannot. its crazy. so i may use this for my other foundations that dont have a pump. The pump is easy to use & allows some control over what comes out. i havent had any problems with this so far! Overall, this isnt a foundation for me mainly bc of the color range. Its far too warm for my skin but if it did match, i would see myself using it more often but i have recently feel in love w/ another $1 foundation from the Dollar Tree- the Donna Michelle Foundation in shade Light- its my go to day foundation since its more of a gel like tinted moisturizer & its more on the cool side. it blends in to my skin & evens it out. Def have to use concealer but i am loving that one way better!

Eyeliner -Rimmel - Exaggerate Full Colour Eye Definer - Noir
Christinaann5 2/28/2012 7:59:00 AM
So on my hunt for an amazing but cheap Black eyeliner, i purchased the Exaggerate Eye Definer in "Noir" from Rimmel & i must say, its better than some i have tried & its actually a pretty great liner! =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definers can be found in most drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, as well as mass stores like Walmart & Target. Availability & price will vary depending on your location as well as sales/discounts. The liners will run around $2-3. which is a fair price, even for a cheapo like me! Rimmel also offers some coupons in the US in some of the Sunday papers. =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= The RImmel Exaggerate Definers are actually really good liners esp from the drugstore. This is a mechanical pencil which makes it very nice & easy to use. The color "Noir" is just that- a nice flat matte black pencil. The formula is soft but not super creamy but still glides on with minimal tugging or pulling. i was looking for something super creamy but this isnt it- but this is still soft enough that it works for lining the top lash line as well as water lines. it goes on easily & its dark enough that it defines the eyes. I like how dark it is. Its great for these purposes. Its def worth the price & its a great basic black liner- better than some i have tried. this one shows up. This doesnt budge too much either. I always use primer which also helps. Those w/ oily lids should def prime & also set w/ a black or whatever color shadow or powder. This way it will absorb the oils that will break down any liner. On me, this liner last forever! i even have a problem getting it off at night or whenever i take my makeup off, there is always still some along lash line. I have not had any problems w/ it smearing onto lower or top lash line or running either. It holds in place great!- one of the best mechanical black liners in the drugstore! =PACKAGING= The Exaggerate Liners are mechanical twist up pencils that are super easy & convenient, no sharpeners needed here ladies! which i love! it holds a point as long as you dont rub too hard. I can get a thin or thick line. Overall, these liners esp Noir is a great addition to my liner collection. i do reach for this alot! i love how dark this is!! and how long lasting and easy this is. i like how i dont have to sharpen or use brushes to apply this. You can throw this is any bag & use it when you please. The package coloring depends on which color the pencil shade is like, Noir is black plastic, the emerald green is emerald green plastic- they all have metallic silver labeling on it. The shade name is also on the bottom portion. The lid fits properly, no problems with that either. It keeps the pencil safe. Its easily twisted up & down. Dont have to worry that its not going to go back down or come up. And you get a fair amount of pencil for the price, its a typical amount in the drugstore, Whats nice is that this is a true black so you dont have to waste a whole bunch of pencil going back over it. Overall, Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Definers are great, esp "Noir". if you are on the search for a good black liner thats easy to use & is actually dark & pigmented but not too creamy- def give this a go. I def want to try other colors from this range. I really love it. Would recommend to most people & i prob will repurchase. I am always buying new liners but i see myself coming back to this alot!

Eye Shadow -Rimmel - Glam Eyes Quad 002 Smokey Brun
Christinaann5 2/27/2012 6:43:00 PM
So i have to say the new Glam Eyes formula is FAR better than the older quad that i have of "Smokey Brun" even though i still use the older one, i have to say, def give it a shot if you havent tried this one or have been eyeballing it- i put off since i have the old one but so glad i grabbed it since it has 4 amazing colors! =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Rimmel Glam Eyes Quads can be found in most drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, as well as mass stores like Walmart & Target. Availability & price will vary depending on your location as well as sales/discounts. The quads run around $3-4. which is a fair price, even for a cheapo like me! Rimmel also offers some coupons in the US in some of the Sunday papers. =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= Rimmel Glam Eyes Quad in "Smokey Brun" is probably one of my favorites of Rimmel & also from my huge eyeshadow collection. Its one of my go to neutral quads- this is great for beginners to experts, you get to four great shadows to make so many looks that are daytime and night time appropriate! I will explain the colors clockwise from top darkest color: 1st shadow- this is the darkest of all of the four. this color is a deep dark chocolate almost black brown. it has a golden shimmer that isnt very obvious. this shadow is great for defining the crease & outer v & will also work well wet as a liner. its gorgeous & dark & i love it! 2nd shadow- this is a midtoned bronze. this is great for all over the lid & also great for the crease. as a bronze, it obviously has a metallic finish, its great all year round. bronze is a great & easy go to shadow! 3rd shadow- this is the lightest shadow of all. its a light champagne beige shadow. which will make it a great browbone highlight as well as opening up the inner tear duct area. this can also be used all over the lid w/ a darker tone in the crease for a simple & elegant look. 4th shadow- this is probably my favorite since its a light pink taupey shadow, very unique. this shadow can also be used all over the lid. its so pretty. it has a sheen to it. All the glam eyes shadows are very soft, almost butter smooth & can be applied easily as well as blended nicely. they are far better than they once were. They are all smooth, no chunks, no fall out that i can see! they dont need a bunch of layers to show up! they are very nice shadows & these wear great as well. As i always suggests, with any shadow, esp drugstore & if you have oily skin, always use an eye primer & if you prefer, a cream base. This will make the shadows last a lot longer. with primer, these will last at least 7-8 hrs with little to no fading or creasing, on their own, id say about 5 hrs or so which really is good for d/s shadows. =PACKAGING= The Rimmel Glam Eyes trios come in the same packaging as the trios. its def better than it used to be. These come in a square glossy black compact. There is a see thru window so you can see which shadows are inside. its great if you have more than one of these. on the back is labeling/info & also a diagram of how to & where to apply these. most drugstores are doing this now which is great for beginners but dont let it limit you. inside is the shadows. these are pretty easy to open & shut havent had any issues. the shadow are shaped in triangluar pans. all 3 are different sizes which i dont mind since i may use one more than the other. they give you most of the lid color, second most of the brow, & smallest of the defining color which i guess is right in size. The packaging is simple, compact & keeps the shadows safe! simple & it works, cant ask for much more! Overall, Smokey Brun is a great neutral quad that can make so many looks. Its a must have i think since we all need something we can reach for & not have to think much. All four shadows are beautiful, soft, pigmented & this quad is def worth the price. love it! i think the only complaint could be is that i wish there were a matte shadow but nothing too major! I have the trio "Orion" which gives me matte shadows which i love & could add to this!

Eyes -Rimmel - Trio Eye Shadow - Orion
Christinaann5 2/27/2012 5:25:00 PM
i really am glad that Rimmel upgraded their products esp their shadows. i have the older quads which i liked but wasnt impressed w/ them. the new "GLAM EYES" collection of shadows are really great! =PRICE/AVAILABILITY= The Rimmel Glam Eyes Trios can be found in most drugstores like CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, as well as mass stores like Walmart & Target. Availability & price will vary depending on your location as well as sales/discounts. The trios run around $3. which is a fair price, even for a cheapo like me! Rimmel also offers some coupons in the US in some of the Sunday papers. =SHADE/FORMULA/PERFORMANCE= The Rimmel Glam Eyes Trio in "Orion" reminds me alot of the quad called "Smokey Brun" in the way it seems like they are the same shadows just minus one shadow. but ORION is a great neutral toned trio that can make many great daytime looks! It has 3 shadows- which are triangular in shape, you get the biggest triangle/shadow- this is a great basic brown bronze champagne, this is meant to be worn as a wash all over the lid. when u swatch this, in a certain angle, it looks a tiny bit lit a pinky bronze shade.this is great for that. or even in the crease for a more natural look. it does have a metallic sheen finish. a basic but still very pretty shadow second biggest triangle/shadow- this is a great matte skin tone color which does make a great natural browbone highlight or great blending color. its great all over the lid as well for a wash. isnt it nice the d/s companies are finally giving us matte shadows?! um heck ya! smallest triangle/shadow- this is a great matte milk chocolate brown. its great for adding depth into the crease or outer v or smoking out liners. Its dark enough but can also be blended for a less dramatic look. ORION is a great neutral trio that i think everyone will enjoy. its one of the no fuss trios that you dont have to think out beforehand or worry about techniques, it will look good no matter what you do! the colors are great together or added to looks. i really do enjoy this! Overall, if you havent tried the new Glam Eyes formula of shadows from Rimmel, i suggests you do so! Orion is great for anyone & everyone since we all love a simple trio for no fuss days & Orion is beautiful! Def better than it was before. This trio is reached for often in my day to day makeup routine! I LOVE all the shadows, their great to add to any collection! -i forgot to add, if you already have Smokey Brun, you probably could skip this & vice versa but i am a neutral shadow lover so i had to have them both of course! Overall,

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - cool as cucumber
Christinaann5 2/27/2012 9:40:00 AM
WOW! the WetnWild Coloricon Trios have been a true gift from the makeup gods for frugal money savvy girls like myself. Thank you wnw for giving us amazing shadows to use! PRICE/AVAILABILITY- The WetnWild Coloricon Trios will cost you only $2.99 yeah under $3. it may vary slightly depending on your area and where you purchase it- you can find these in drugstores like Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, etc as well as Walmart & Target. SHADE/FORMULA- Cool as a Cucumber is one of my more darker toned trios from the older set but has some gorgeous greens & a purple shadow. They are all beautiful & i dont own many shadows like these. At first i thought id hardly use this one but i was wrong. This trio is great to add some drama or a pop of color to your look. They are labeled so ill go from the labels- Brow Bone- this is such a pretty pastel light green. whats so nice about it is that is has a more matte finish. its just really pretty for all over the lid- it has almost a flash of yellow for its undertone Crease- this color is one of my favorite purples i own. it looks like a deep eggplant purple. it does show up a tad lighter on the skin but its so unique in that its a metallic sheen to it, almost duochromed. a unique color from the drugstore. this color looks great paired w/ these greens or any brown, gray, well any color. great for adding depth to crease or outer v. Can also use wet for a nice liner. i love this shadow, wish they sold it own its own Eyelid- this is also a gorgeous color. its a nice dark hunter forest green. has a sheen to it when on the eye. its so pretty on the eye. Its one of those shadows that can be sheered out for a light green or in certain lights look darker. great for adding depth as well in the crease or outer v or can be used on the lid. all three shadows are gorgeous. but with this trio, i myself couldnt pull of the look using these in the suggested areas. I just rather have more of a skintone color for the browbone, not a green. but using this for looks- amazing. i havent found many colors like this that are actually pigmented & show up like these. i have dark brown eyes & this colors make them stand out! all are very well pigmented, go on super smooth. almost feel like butter, apply & blend well. i even use cheaper brushes & they work. pigmentation is the best from the drugstore, i was def impressed. theyve made me want more and more! of the trios i own, this is one of the trios i reach for when i want some color & depth since two of these shadows are darker. I love the colors in this one. so pretty! PACKAGING- this is a rectangular compact that is glossy black backing with labeling and how tos on where and how to place these 3 shadows on the eye area. great for beginners to learn placement. there is a clear see thru hard plastic snap shut lid. the shade is on the sticker and back. this is def sturdy and compact. great for travel and and on the go. slips in to pockets even. does come with two applicators, a sponge tip applicator that is actually pretty good as well as this bristled brush that has a weird angle to it. its weird but you dont have to use them but ive seen a video where it did work for blending so to each their own. overall, Cool as a Cucumber is another great trio from WNW. These one is less talked about in the makeup world, i dont understand though since these colors have to be dupes for more HE brands. i love these trios and Cool as A Cucumber does have some amazing shadows! i love it and im sure most people will too since we all need some color every now & then! give em a try esp if you love great shadows! they are affordable, amazing quality and esp since they are from a cruelty free company, i love you wetnwild! i will add some pictures and swatches and an update if anything changes!
