I am pleasantly surprised with Hervana. I am very fair and neutral-toned (lean more golden). I'm somewhere between a NC15-NC20. Anyway, I wasn't interested in it first glance. The lady at Benefit put it on me and I thought it was gorgeous. What is interesting about Hervana is that it almost chameleons into what the rest of your m/u looks like. If I'm wearing a peachy lip, it looks nice and peachy. If I'm wearing a pink lip, it looks more pink. What I love most about Hervana is how light it is -- it gives me a "lit from within" look. I don't like heavy blushes, so if you do, Hervana is definitely not for you. It brings me a kiss of color and looks soft on my skin. The design on the box is adorable, and for $28, I think it's a good buy. These things last forever. I deducted one lipstick because I do not particularly like the smell of the blush (it smells like artificial berries), but it goes away after a while.
I think I'm a believer in Revlon ColorStay. I tried it as a teenager and wasn't really sure how to apply it correctly -- I ended up thinking it was too heavy on my skin. Anyway, fast forward about 4 years, and I decided to give it another go. I've been wearing Revlon PhotoReady in Vanilla, and I like it, but it's much too sparkly on my skin. I decided to go for something a little more natural looking. I picked this up in Buff, and it is a total match for my fair, yellow-toned skin. I apply just a dab of it on my whole face. I warm it up with my finger before applying so it spreads correctly. The result is a great, sheer finish that lasts for hours. It's great on my oily/combo skin. It doesn't get oily for at least 8 hours. Thumbs up!
ChaCha tint is joining it's cousins PosieTint and BeneTint in the line of Benefit lip/cheek stains. Having tried all three, I have to say that ChaCha tint is my favorite. In the bottle, ChaCha Tint looks like a creamy orange color. Do not let the color in the bottle scare you. It sheers out to a pink-coral color. ChaCha is described as a "warm tropical sunset hue" on the bottle. I would have to completely agree. On my cheeks, it brightens up my fair skin. It makes me looks sun-kissed without the use of bronzer. On my lips, it looks like I just ate a creamsicle. Very pretty! The only gripe I have about this product is that it does stain the fingers. If you wash your hands with antibacterial soap, it will come right off, though. Highly recommended for fair girls!

I bought this product on a whim. I love the hairspray from this brand and I was i the market for a new mousse. I am so glad that I tried this. It retails for about $5.29 a bottle. The package says that its rich and emollent formula is suitable for all hair types. I would say that this is true because I have very fine hair and it works great. It doesn't make my hair greasy or weighed down. It gives my short, layered bob a ton of bounce. The volume lasts all day and it controls oil at my crown. Highly recommended.
I AM DISAPPOINT. I decided to cheat on my normal L'Oreal Voluminous and try this crap out. I completely regret it. It made my eyelashes spiky and unable to curl (which I usually don't have a problem with). The packaging is nice and it DOES define lashes (before you try to curl -- once you curl, it clumps them all together). Will not repurchase.
I love this color! I picked it up on a whim because I wanted a new shimmery gloss. I would describe peony as a pinky-peach color that leans more on the pink. It has fine gold glitter in it -- pretty! Not frosty or chunky. I have fairly pigmented lips and this gives them the right amount of pop. The gloss smells like vanilla, which I like. The consistency is smooth and not tacky. It feels good on my lips and actually moisturizes them. My only gripe is that it isn't particularly long lasting, but it doesn't claim to be. The packaging is cute, I just wish the applicator was a traditional doe-foot one, and not flattened out. Otherwise, great product! I would definitely recommend it.

I definitely think the formula changed in this product. I have the bottle with the purple cap and the new design. Anyway, I have fine, short hair and this made my hair feel really dirty. It weighed it down and when I ran my fingers through it, my hair just felt filmy. One of the very few products I have actually thrown in the garbage. I tested it over a month and my opinion never changed. Pass on this if you have fine hair.
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Morning Burst Skin Brightening Cleanser

I'll admit it, I'm a sucker for packaging and marketing. I picked this up because I LOVED the packaging. The cleanser is yellow and pearly, while the writing on the bottle is bright pink. Cute! Anyway, on to the product. I really wanted to love this. I have dull skin in the winter, and I hoped this would brighten it. It does, for 5 minutes. The pearly sheen soon rubs off. Also, it's very drying and made me break out (I have oily/sensitive skin). I gave it two lipsticks because it lathers well and I love the scent (it's a clean, lemony scent).

THANK God for this stuff! I went of BCP, and my skin went crazy. I got 4 cystic pimples at one time. I tried using harsh treatments to take it away, etc etc. This stuff completely calmed my skin and reduced redness. I need to keep it simple with my skin, and this fits the bill! My skin doesn't feel filmy or dry after this, it feels clean and refreshed. I really feel like it gets the oil and makeup off. Pores look a little smaller with it. A+ (sensitive, oily skin with large pores. occasional breakout).
I think this is a color that would work on anybody. I would describe Brownie as a rosy-brown in the tube. I love it on my lips -- it's the color I wish my lips were naturally. I have what I call "ghost lips" , they blend in with my face. Very pale. Brownie brightens them, makes my teeth look very white, and brightens up my skin tone. The formula is a little drying, so apply lipbalm under it. :) Highly recommended. Very natural and pretty color.
I LOVE this makeup. I don't do very well with liquid foundations because of my oily skin, but this keeps the oilies at bay (with Smashbox primer). It does have shimmer to it, so it gives a very nice dewy finish that isn't greasy. Much better than Revlon PhotoReady. I have this in the 2nd lightest color. The great thing about this foundation is that it does have yellow tones, and it is emollent. Though it is emollent, it does apply sheerly. It melts into the skin. Great stuff. Recommended.
Tipsy is a beautiful color on fair skin. I would describe it as a corally-pink. It does have shimmer to it, but it is not frosty. It gives my face a "glow from within" look. I deducted one lipstick because it IS a little sticky on the skin. I like to apply this with my fingers. The price is steep, but it's worth it because it lasts forever.

I actually like this stuff. My skin: sensitive, oily, very minor imperfections (I have the occasional blemish and some light scarring). The color matches my N3 skin PERFECTLY. It really blends in to look natural. My one gripe is the packaging, I don't really like using my fingers to spread the product. Wash your hands before you use this product to avoid spreading bacteria onto your face. It evens out skin tone nicely and doesn't cover your skin -- it doesn't look like a mask. It doesn't prevent the oilies for coming, but doesn't make them worse. It DOES dry to a powder, which is nice. I would buy again. I like to use it on lazy days and when I go to school. I do not recommend this for those with problematic skin.
[Me: oily, sensitive skin. MAC N3. BE Fairly Light. PR Vanilla] Love this stuff. It makes my skin look poreless and flawless. I don't have a problem with this looking cakey on me because my skin is so oily. It lasts forever and is great for girls on the go. I only use a tiny bit and my face is completely covered. Two thumbs up.
I love this stuff. It's cooling and refreshing on my lips. It leaves them moisturized and doesn't make my lips feel waxy. My lips are hydrated for hours. I love the way the slanted rubber tip feels against my lips. It does get rid of some dry spots and makes my lips look fresh and flake free (I live in a VERY dry climate). I quite like the smell and taste, very sweet.
