Cleansers -DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil

After reading all the raves in Productville and trying the sample pack I received in a catalog, I ordered this stuff. BIG MISTAKE. My skin has completely freaked out--clogged pores up the wazoo, whiteheads and weird underskin bumps that I NEVER get. I want to cry--my face has never looked worse (I hardly break out). I did not change anything else except introducing this product. The only thing I would do with this would be to fry up some food. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it.

This is my holy grail of masks. No matter what I try, I always come back to this mask. A thin layer for 15-20 minutes keeps my skin clean and clear and healthy looking.

I love this shampoo! It makes my hair so clean, so soft, and so much easier to blow dry straight. It really does reduce frizz. I highly recommend this product-- a little goes a long way.

Moisturizers -St. Ives - Oil-Free Moisturizer [DISCONTINUED]

Finally--a moisturizer for my combination skin that moisturizes the dry areas and does not leave me a shiny oil slick. And for only $3? Am sick with how many new pairs of shoes I could have with all the money I spent on bad moisturizers over the years....

Liquid -MAC - Matte Foundation

I love this foundation! Finally one that matches my skin and doesn't turn to another color. The tube is great--I hate bottles and having to shake out the product--and is easy to throw in your bag. The coverage is perfect--evens out the skintone. Feels light, never cakey. Lasted through the most recent NYC heatwave--my friend saw me out after a 28 block walk and a long day at work in 100 degree weather and said my makeup looked as though it hadn't melted at all. Would repurchase.

Great conditioner for every day. Makes hair soft and detangles well. Plastic bottle is more user-friendly than the glass ones.

Shampoo -Phyto - Phyto Panama shampoo

I love this line. The phytopanama is great for frequent washing. It gently cleans without stripping your hair. The glass bottle may be annoying, especially if there are little hands that can get to it in the shower, but it does not bother me. Pricey, but worth it. Since using this line, I have not had to cut my hair (in over 8 months) because my hair is in great condition and no split ends, even though I color my hair too!

Mascara -MAC - Pro Lash

Love this mascara. Leaves lashes soft, long, thick, and NO CLUMPS. Only complaint is that it is not waterproof. EDITED: Now I love Splashproof, which I find is waterproof Prolash.

Hair -Garnier - Fructis Shampoo & Conditioner

I am adding my rave on this stuff now. Left my hair, soft, shiny and smelling great. Ordered it from Feelbest.com and it was about $4 a bottle! Good thing I ordered 6... Overall, great product. I use both the formula for colored hair and for damaged hair.

Ew! I looked like I was glowing purple and red from this stuff. Good thing it was a sample, I could not wash it off fast enough. For a better product, try Prescriptives.

This is one of my favorite eye creams ever!! Totally non-irritating to the delicate eye area. Provides great moisturization with no greasiness. If your eye area is sensitive to most eye creams, as mine is, this may be the one for you!

I love eye creams in a tube and not in a pot. This eye cream may seem pricey but you use so little that a tube lasts forever. Moisturizes so well, sinks right into the skin around your eyes so that makeup can easily be applied. Don't like the tubes that crinkle when you squeeze them, but nothing is perfect. Highly recommend

Makeup Brushes -MAC - 2001 Holiday Brush set

I love MAC brushes and imagine my pleasure at finding 6 highly useful brushes in a foldup, wallet like case. Easy to throw in my bag because it takes up literally no space. Great brushes, great quality, easy to take with you anywhere. And six MAC brushes for $45....

Cleansers -Komenuka Bijin - Cleansing Grains

I love this product in the morning. It leaves my skin smooth and clean and ready for applying my makeup smoothly. I do not like the packaging for the sole reason that if your hands are wet it is hard to tear the paper containers and also if water gets in, it is makes the grains stick. However, the packages are great when I travel because they are small and I do not have to bring a whole big tube, I can just bring a package or two.
